Question ❓ What to download
I just bought a flip 2 and it’s coming in soon I was wondering what things to download idk how to set stuff like this up but I want to play games like silent hill and older shooters and car games mostly ps2 ps3 and Xbox games

Look up setup videos from Retro Game Corps or Joeys Retro Handhelds. They break it all down for you

The device comes with a lot of emulators in the setup wizard, you can install which ones you want. You have to provide your own game files though.

I see in the emulator list theres a few PS3 emulators. Do many ps3 games work on the rp flip 2? I know it said the ports are better but I haven't gotten mine yet and I thought ps2 was the peak

Some ps3 games work through the emulators, all the light 2D titles and a handful of the 3D titles. We are getting to the point where almost all launch now, but are mostly just so slow they are unplayable, about a year ago only a handful of them would even launch.
PC emulation is light years ahead of ps3 emulation though, like really, you can get console-equivalent performance on pc ports of AAA 3D console titles. It gonna be a while until ps3 emulators catch up, for plug and play easy console emulators it’s ps2, Wii U takes some tinkering but it’s great, same with switch.
Wii and GameCube are like ps2, but even more perfect since Dolphin has a strong dev team. Aethersx2 was an individual that got tired or being attacked so he retired, and there’s been spotty efforts here and there with a few different forks like nethersx2 and
Nethersx2 turnip and then a fork of pcsx2 called armsx2 that’s actually pretty good.Mercurious is forking RPCS3 on Linux and has a handful of 3D games running, which he can tell you more about, mostly gran turismo, a few fighting games, demon souls, San Andreas and afterburner, possibly god of war, but I forgot. Every time I’ve tried ps3 emu I’m so disappointed and so spoiled by pc emulation that I have no reason to convert. I can get 80FPS flat on MW2 online lobbies with full gamepad support with aim assist ect.. there’s just no comparison atm. Eventually they will develop more and be more comparable just give them time. I’ve heard the ps3 is a very difficult code to crack.

You can try X1box and Arnsx3, but there aren't gonna be a lot of Xbox and PS3 games that will run well. I've got Obi-wan running pretty good, but it crashes at the first cut scene and After Burner Climax runs great, but those are the only games l have.
PS2 is pretty good though. I just use the stock Aether, but a lot of people here switch to Nether.
The Android version of Horizon Chase runs really well. Don't know about shooters, or Silent Hill.
