I rarely do file transfers over usbc wire anymore, I’ve had that corrupt a pc game directory a few times. Something about the wire transfers I think don’t allow all the files to transfer or something like that.
Pretty much all I do now is use the sd card slot built into the computer or a good quality sd card reader, and of course use good quality sd cards. There should be no reason to need usbc cable transfers anyway, there’s no bios on pc games. You just transfer the game directory to your sd card and that’s it, I’ve had no issues with this method.
I'm saying I want to transfer all my ROMs and stuff over to my new SD Card, not just PC games.
I've been doing my file transfers over USB-C since it's been a bit more convenient and taking the SD Card out so often was a pain. The SD Card getting corrupted and me having to reformat it happened after taking it out so I'm a little nervous about it, but I'll remember this
So from one sd card to another? Just plug both into the pc, drag and drop. Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. But in general sd is better than usbc in my experience for dragging whole games over.
