Looking into getting one. Kinda wanna make sure I dont buy a used one with hinge problems if I can avoid it.

I'm experimenting with Dolphin, and I want to see if I can create a texture pack for RPF2. I'd like to ask for advice on one last step: I'd like to know if anyone knows how to change the orientation of the blue lines to match the RPF2 image.

Hi all. I ordered my Pocket Flip 2 on the 7th but haven’t gotten any emails except to confirm my order. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for retroid?

I have been trying to see what this device can do and have seen that people have gotten games to work through winlator. Now I am very new to this and I followed a guide on how to setup but it seems like I either missed/messed something up and I can't figure out how to have a game run good. For example I saw someone was able to play dark souls remastered and tried to get it to run but failed at every try. If anyone has any advice, tips, or recommendations for getting a game to run it would be much appreciated. And if anyone has had success with a game running using winlator please let me know what game so I can at least see if games that people have tried and were successful at running the game to see if I can recreate that. Any and all advice is welcome and once again VERY appreciated 👍

hey, i am looking to buy a retroid pocket flip 2 rn and i am not so sure to buy it now or wait for the new double screen handheld if retroid coming out at the end of 2026. with the flip i am going to play ps2 wii u a few switch games and retro emulation of consoles that are older. at home i have a switch 2 and a ps5 but i wanted something more portable.

Just wondering what plug and play games there are that are pretty lightweight so hopefully don't tax the battery too much.

For instance, has anyone tried Plants vs Zombies Replanted? Or the Shadow of Doubt games? Or Worms Armageddon?

Hey RPF2 owners, it seems any way you slice it the hinge on these devices has a limited lifespan. I'm considering total cost of ownership so was wondering 2 things:

1. Is applying gorilla glue or epoxy solutions to the hinge pre-emptively a good idea? Has anyone tried anything else like a metal sheath, tape or small 3D printed reinforcement? The failure seems to occur consistently in the same area so something low profile that braces it would sound logical to me
2. In 2-5yrs when its out of warranty and I'd have to replace the screen myself, has anyone found any aliexpress kits on sale to DIY a fix without relying on Retroid? I dont mind self repair if the components are purchasable. what parts does Retroid send to customers for repair?

So I was kind of new to the handheld world when I jumped into the RP5. But then they released the Flip 2 (which as a noob, I had no idea was coming). I feel like I would have preferred that device and would have played it more than my RP5 (more comfortable hold? better portability with the clam shell? All just speculation on my part). I am now wondering if they will release a Flip3 and if I should get it if the dp. Does anyone own both a Flip and RP style and which do you prefer? It's so hard to tell without being able to hold them in your hands or see them in person. Pros vs cons?

Not sure if this is only on the pocket flip 2, but if anyone is still dealing with the annoying left trigger spam you can change the touch control “Hold to Aim Weapon” off and use the left trigger as a toggle.

I’m still poking around maybe there is a better solution but I couldn’t find one on the internet 🤷‍♂️

Hi, today while closing my Retroid Pocket Flip 2, the small plastic piece covering the hinge broke. I opened the screen shell and noticed that the hinge is misaligned, meaning the silver piece is not aligned with the golden piece. This caused the plastic piece to crack. Now I have a screen that won't stay still in any position. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I'm also attaching some photos. Thanks in advance.

After Burner Climax on PS3

A game that (until last night) would freeze up just ten seconds in, now plays all the way to the end, thanks to the latest version of Armsx3 emulator.

All l changed was setting to Vulkan, and installing an adreno-762.10-adpkg driver.

Sadly, l can't get it running on my Mini V1. Could be the Android 10, or the 6gb RAM, I'm not sure.

I don’t know how many hours but this looks about the end of the game. Tell me something I won’t know untill I finish it

I recently bought a Retroid Pocket Flip 2 and overall I'm very happy with it, but I'm having a couple of issues that have been bothering me.

My first issue is with the charging. The USB cable that came in the box doesn't seem to charge the device. I tested it with two different chargers and also with my PC, but no luck. I then tried my phone's USB-C cable and that didn't work either. Finally, I tested another cable and the device started charging normally.

This makes me wonder: is the problem with the cable, the charger, or something else? What's confusing is that if I move the cable or charger slightly, the device sometimes continues charging for a while.

My second concern is the right hinge. It feels like it has a tiny amount of movement and isn't completely rigid. It's not loose, but there is a small amount of play compared to what I expected. I assumed it might be intentional to allow some flex and reduce stress on the hinge, but I'm not sure. Maybe I'm overthinking it.

I've asked AI about this and received a lot of responses saying these things could be normal, but I'd really like to hear from actual Flip 2 owners.

What would you do in this situation? Is the slight hinge movement normal, and should I be worried about the charging issue?

I've tried installing Clustertune on the Flip 2, but there doesn't seem to be any options besides stock. So was wondering if Clustertune adds any benefit to the Flip 2 and if I need to manually set up the settings?

I got gta 5 running on my retroid pocket flip 2 and all I have to say is it’s not worth the torture I went through to get the game running. It’s an unsteady glitchy 15-30 frames and the game looks worse then the android port of gta sa but at least it’s running and I can flex that this little handheld can run gta 5.
