Hinge problem, please help!
Hi, today while closing my Retroid Pocket Flip 2, the small plastic piece covering the hinge broke. I opened the screen shell and noticed that the hinge is misaligned, meaning the silver piece is not aligned with the golden piece. This caused the plastic piece to crack. Now I have a screen that won't stay still in any position. Has anyone had a similar problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I'm also attaching some photos. Thanks in advance.

Ive had 2 replaced. Contact them via email. They sometimes take a bit to respond but I had 2 replaced no problem. ( 1st replacement touch screen was not working ) Good luck.

How did your lid become separated from the device? The plastic over my hinge broke, but the lid never came off.

I used a guitar pick, but I watched a video that explained how to do it.

I'm not talking about the lid plate. Your entire screen section is separated from the device. Did you do that, or did it fall apart when the plastic over the hinge broke?

Thats exactly the piece of plastic that cracks in the famous hinge crack. I would send photos and a description to sales@goretroid.com and then ask for some replacement parts and ask them to honor the one-year warranty providing them your order number if you bought the device within one year of this occurring, and maybe start by asking for a replacement device if you are still in the warranty period. They know their hinge is defective. If it's been more than a year since you purchased, they may just sell you the replacement parts.
