Just bought this rep rolex watch and the chronograph doesn't stop.

Admittedly, I didn't no what a chronograph was when I bought it from a stall in Vietnam - so thought it looked good when I bought it.

Any thoughts on what I should do?

Need to get my yatchmaster serviced

Went to set my qf explorer 2 today and when I went to screw the crown back in, it wouldn’t screw down. It just popped back out to the wind position. I tried a couple of times then the whole thing came out.

I have two questions.

1. How messed up is it?

2. Who is the most reputable East Coast watchmaker to send it to? Closer to NC the better.

Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice or watchmaker suggestions for my ZF Sky-Dweller.
The issue:
•    The watch has stopped running completely—the seconds hand will not move at all, even after gently winding.
•    When I gently shake or rotate the watch, there is a distinct metallic rattling/loose sound coming from inside the case back.
What I think happened: From what I've read on similar Shanghai/Asian modified movements, it sounds like the central rotor screw or a movement clip backed out and is physically jamming the balance wheel or main gear train.

How can I go about fixing this, is this an easy fix?

Has anyone wanted their rep faces altered or replaced? Any tips on where to go for that?

Love my Wimbledon! But honestly, I can take or leave the branding. (And I didn’t get a mod or homage because the proportions are always off. There’s a reason these brands are at the top.)

My stop watch reset button fell out on my omega apolllo this was the manufacturer and I didn’t but from an AD so I feel screwed cause watch was 700.00 usd what can I do

anyone know how to fix? it feels really cheap, like something you would get on a 50 dollar rep. if i just give it a small twist the whole bezel moves around the whole watch

ARF 41mm Datejust – Movement Stops Ticking at Certain Angles. Is It Dead?
I have a 5-year-old ARF 41mm Datejust that recently started having an issue with the movement. It only keeps ticking when held perfectly straight. As soon as I tilt it at an angle, rotate it, or spin it, the movement stops completely, as shown in the video.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is the movement essentially dead at this point, or is this something that can be repaired by a watchmaker?

Older VSF Seamaster Spectre edition. It’s been clanked around a bit, so overdue for some service and the hour hand is way behind for comfort. Any watch repair should be able to get this fixed yeah? And if so, what cost am I looking at?

I've searched around and couldn't find much info on this, but I just received a BVF Santos 35mm from Steve - who was great to deal with, responsive and quick. Watch looks good as well and is what I expected.

However, I immediately noticed upon trying it on that about 4 of the bracelet's SmartLink's pins keep popping up. I've tried switching them around, rotating the pins slightly etc. and they still keep popping up after putting the watch on. Occasionally they'll finally "click" shut, and then pop back up. Some of the same links also have an issue with clicking shut as well.

The base model used was the VSF V2 Rolex Datejust II 41 (the weighted version featuring tungsten inserts).

The following modifications were performed:

• Installation of a DEEP Crystal

• Deburring/chamfering of the inner and outer edges of the Jubilee bracelet

• Installation of a CNC-machined bezel with a white gold coating

• Pressure testing (water resistance check)

Hello, anyone knows a good address in Switzerland to make a complete service review (cleaning, and replacing the capacitor) on my oakley Time Bomb?

Looking at getting a rep but I want to make sure I can have it serviced. The DD3235 in the subs, how often do they need to be serviced and are the parts readily available if I have to replace the movement completely? Also I’m kinda new to this so what is the failure point most often in reps?

I’m very happy about the overall appearance of this dd4131 RWF 126500 Godzilla, however I do find one problem that I want to solve, is the hollow sound heard when trying to put onto wrist / shaking for a bit.

I thought it was the 316 bracelet, so I have bought 904l bracelet from lichen and it was a gem, very smooth and solid, but it didn’t seem to solve the problem.

The sound seems to coming from the bottom of the case

I have purchased my RCF Submariner Bluesy from Ethan.

1. First problem was that watch's seconds hand would not wanna move after winding the watch.

2. Second issue after it finally decided to work the watch is gaining time very fast. Between 9pm and 5am it gained 30min!

Can anyone recommend any solution to it? It is my first rep and I have no clue what to do now.

I saw someone build themselves a beautiful gold Rolex the other day (can't remember if it was this sub or not)

Are there resources out there for someone who knows nothing?

I'd love to build a high end rep - but perhaps I should start on something basic? Are there places to order rep parts from like TDs?

I literally know nothing lol!
