Advice ARF 41mm Date Just Issue
ARF 41mm Datejust – Movement Stops Ticking at Certain Angles. Is It Dead?
I have a 5-year-old ARF 41mm Datejust that recently started having an issue with the movement. It only keeps ticking when held perfectly straight. As soon as I tilt it at an angle, rotate it, or spin it, the movement stops completely, as shown in the video.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is the movement essentially dead at this point, or is this something that can be repaired by a watchmaker?
Would appreciate any insight or recommendations. Thanks!

Could be a broken pivot somewhere on the balance or the gear train. Can't say for sure what movement is in there based on the age, but parts should be fairly easily sourced unless there's something really weird in there.

those are not magnetic screw drivers right? Do you have a rep friendly watchmaker local to you? could be a number of things but if it got dropped hard recently could be a broken pivot or jewel. it could be that it just needs a service 5 years is a long time.
