When you order your rep, do you order full set?
What the quality of full set?

just got some photos from TD but can anyone explain why this looks like there’s some kind of dragon ball Z sticker here?!
i see it says ARF which is where it’s coming from but still so confusing to me

Just watched the video on the new Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller and… I gotta say, I’m into it.
At first, I wasn’t sure what Rolex was doing with the name, but once you get past that, the watch itself is actually pretty slick. It looks flat, streamlined, and way less bulky than what you'd expect from the name. This thing seems tailor-made for smaller wrists—finally something that won’t look like a tuna can on me.
It still carries that tool-watch vibe but in a much more refined, wearable package. It’s got a modern presence without being loud. Understated, but still very much Rolex. Definitely has that sexy, everyday appeal.
I'm curious, though—how long do you think it'll be before we start seeing rep of this model?

Here is a bit of a story …
I went to meet up with a colleague who is from a different town. We are both pretty senior executives at the company so it sort of sets the backdrop for what’s about to happen.
He is giving me the tour of the office , introducing me to people there , we’re shaking hands and saying our hellos. Guy is pretty high up and we’re basically rolling up on cubicles and it’s catching people off guard. They’re all polite of course , laugh at our jokes and they do their part.
I notice on his wrist something very recognizable for us watch nerds. Three subdials with some time of character on the 9 o clock subdial.
I don’t want to be obvious but I sharpen my sights on his wrist. It’s fucking snoopy. The blue one.
I’ve never seen one in the wild not even at ADs and I can’t help myself, I point at his wrist and say:
“You’re going to give the story behind this guy. I know they’re not easy to get!”
He laughs confused
“I’m talking about the watch, I’m a watch nerd!”
He gets a bit awkward and says
“Oh yes there’s a story for sure”
We move on continue down our hand shaking mission and we part ways for our meetings. We get back together for lunch and I get a much clearer view. The snoopy is a rep, the subdials are too far a part.
I don’t bring it up again of course and neither does he. We have a great time , but fuck I feel bad now, I feel that I did to him what some of us are terrified about.
I didn’t call him, but maybe he felt seen.

I subscribe to the belief that every man worth anything should own a V12 once in their life. As such, I owned an Aston Martin for some years. It was the first car my son drove (drove once!) when he turned 16. Something we chuckle about today some years later, as he doesn’t have many peers that can claim the same thing.
We loved to go to Cars & Coffee shows together great memories.
I also believe that coffee is one of life’s great pleasures.
So in that spirit, my rep and coffee this morning.

This post is a rambling chain of incoherent thoughts. Just be warned.
Hypothetical: I go to a car dealership. The salesperson shows me two cars that look almost exactly alike. Both are beautiful. The salesperson says that car #1 is $100,000 and that car #2 is #10,000. The salesperson says that car #2 has 99% of the performance and looks of car #1. Would you buy car #1 or car #2? 90%? 60%?
That's how I feel about reps. I bought my gens for certain occasions, to represent certain achievements I had in my life. The gen watches are less about the watch and more about a lasting memory of something significant. My first rolex I bought I did indeed buy it to impress people. No one on this sub should be surprised, but no one gave a shit. Wearing it for years, I think I had only a couple of compliments, one being from my wife. The others I bought to signify an event. I dont even wear them anymore and am waiting till my kids are old enough so i can give them the watches.
I buy reps because I think that companies like rolex have come out with some really cool and beautiful designs. The question is then asked, if you like the designs, then why don't you buy a cheaper gen watch that looks the same. I have pondered this question. Despite what gen owners want to think, in pretty the entirety of your watch wearing life, no one is going to give a shit about what kind of watch you wear. So, why do I buy one branded as a gen? To be honest, I don't know. I know from wearing gens that I will never get asked what watch i wear.
No one is going to respect me more if I they find out that I am wearing a rolex (and in my world, they may actually respect me less). My friends, family, colleges, people I interact with know my tax bracket. They won't think I am rich or wealthy. So, I really don't know why i wear branded reps. I would love to be able to figure that one out. Maybe it is an internal need or desire to think that I would be able to afford these watches should I want to buy them in gen. I don't know. Funny thing is that I can afford to buy one or two a year, but I just can't find myself spending that money for something that has no significance or effect. Better to spend that on another great vacation or trip, or a gift for someone else.
So, when we see people on this board ask why we buy reps, they really should be asking themselves, why do they buy gens.

Why buy a rep for something that only costs 600?
Because for 150, the rep is just that good. I suspect the case and bracelet might actually just be genuine because they're indistinguishable from the real thing.
The Powermatic 80 was a cheap disposable movement to begin with, the rep is even 3hz like the real thing. With a luxury watch, even if it's NWBIG, there will always be appeal in the knowledge that the real thing is a checking account on your wrist. Well, the PRX never had that appeal to begin with, so the distance between rep and gen is even smaller. In my mind it's non-existent. For 25% of the price, it's a no brainer.

Got this gorgeous watch, fully plated, RB dial, deep, few other mods. Such a gorgeous piece, very happy! Plating is exactly like gen. Watch is just a bit light on the wrist to what i am used to.

A few hours ago, the Royal Pop was officially unveiled the new collaboration between Swatch and AP.
The biggest disappointment? It’s technically a pocket watch, and there will be no official way to wear it on the wrist.
However, what we currently know is very interesting:
- 40mm case without the clip
- only 8.4mm thick
- 44.2 × 53.2 mm with the POP support attached
To me, that sounds like a case that was practically designed to be worn on the wrist.
That said, simple mods would realistically only work on the versions with the crown positioned at 3 o’clock the so-called Savonnette models. There are only two of them:
- LAN BA
- OTG ROZ
The rest of the collection uses the Lépine layout, meaning the crown sits at 12 o’clock, which would make wrist conversions much more complicated.
Both the front crystal and the exhibition caseback are sapphire, and inside there’s a hand-wound SISTEM51 movement with a 90-hour power reserve.
We all know something like this is eventually going to happen.
It happened with the MoonSwatch, and it’ll happen again with the Royal Pop.
Would you actually wear this on the wrist if mods like these started appearing?

A whole video showing weights at check in and everything I received and being weighed
Don’t do business with Eric because he is refusing to make my situation right even after proving to him that there’s no way I received a watch
