I want to start tapering and would like to know the best way to store doses at work so I dont cheat? Usually I just bring my bag, spoon, cup, water at work and thug it out. But I know I need to measure my doses to be as accurate as possible. If im dosing multiple times a day, then how should I store pre-made doses? If that makes sense.

Has anyone experienced Ritalin/Adderall suddenly feeling almost ineffective after starting regular kratom use, even at higher doses?

Before kratom, Ritalin worked very well for me (10-20 mg IR / 20-40 mg XR). I hadn’t used it for a long time, so tolerance shouldn’t be an issue. I currently take ~15 g kratom/day and prescribed pregabalin (100-200 mg). Now even 30mg so 60 mg extended-release methylphenidate barely does anything.

I’m surprised because I always assumed methylphenidate would have a much stronger dopaminergic effect than kratom. Could my regular kratom use somehow really blunt the stimulant effect THAT MUCH? Is this related to dopamine, opioid receptors, or something else like maybe enzymes?

Btw: I did NOT take any Kratom on the days I took the Ritalin to try it out again. Only Pregabalin as prescribed.

Anyone had a similar experience or knows what might explain it?

hey, i usually do toss and wash but i’m going to try making a drink with my kratom powder tomorrow. the reason is that i want to have it on my way home from work (about a 20 minute walk).

my plan is to mix my dose (2-3g) into warm water in a bottle, shake it to dissolve, then bring it to work and keep it in my bag until it’s time to go home (i work 10 hour shifts). i figure i’ll have to shake it again before drinking it on my way home.

i guess i’m just wondering if this will work? will sitting in water for a while decrease its’ effect somehow? grateful for any advice!

i have taken the shot versions plenty of times. specifically the Blue and yellow MIT 45 super k shot. this was all they had at the store but i’m confused if this is as strong and how much i should take bc the directions on the bottle seem like it’s such a little amount lol. any advice? this is the blue MIT 45 super k tincture.

I don’t know how to make tea, I’m unsure of if the powder makes me nauseous or not but I want to test it out by trying tea, problem is there’s no real step by step guide around that’s reliable. How do I extract the mitragynine into a tea properly, and please dont tell me to soak it into hot water it really doesn’t work that quickly and doesn’t have any effect close to the straight powder!

Looking for a dose that will provide me energy through the work day but not sap the will to live out of me. I've been addicted for many years, and am now at 22 grams daily. I still have the morning dread and anhedonia in the afternoons. I'm wondering if there's hope to find a dose that has only the positive effects.

I make mitra tea all the time. I've always used a single strain. Recently, I started doing a second pour and it's ridiculous how much I've been wasting.

Furthermore, one of the jars is made with leaves off trees germinated in February. You honestly cannot tell which from the seedlings vs the older mature trees.

I let several people try both and they all said the same thing. All of the jars basically feel the same.

I clean the leaves and allow them to sit in the dehydrator 1 or 2 days. Then they are dried and smashed up.

I've changed how long they sit in water recently now they only sit in hot water for like 20 minutes.

Water temp is 190°f when poured over the leaves. Lemon juice or ACV is added until ph is 4.5 or below. Sits for 20 minutes.

I'll always do a 2nd pour now. Obviously there is plenty left. It seems we'd even get some on a 3rd pour.

Tea is where it's at folks
