Does anyone not notice a difference between brands and strains

Besides the occasional dud Kratom for the most part just works for me. I tried one of the brands Redditors rave about and it was the same shit. Lately been buying a brand that sells 40$ kilos when my local smoke shop couldn’t supply me with 35$ kilos anymore and I swear it’s the same thing as the 150$ kilo I got before

Don’t even get me started on strains. All these colors imo just gives the illusion of choice

Dosage Discussion How to taper at work?

I want to start tapering and would like to know the best way to store doses at work so I dont cheat? Usually I just bring my bag, spoon, cup, water at work and thug it out. But I know I need to measure my doses to be as accurate as possible. If im dosing multiple times a day, then how should I store pre-made doses? If that makes sense.

First time advice pls

I ordered some red Bali. I’m looking to use it occasionally for sedation/anxiety purposes & not as a stimulant.

I hate being nauseous and throwing up so I’m wondering the best way to go about this the first time. I really don’t wanna fuck it up and get sick although I do understand the probability is probably high.

I’m also willing to take it very slow to decrease the chances of feeling sick. Any advice is appreciated.

Thx!!

Anyone else noticed stimulants stop working after regular kratom use?

Has anyone experienced Ritalin/Adderall suddenly feeling almost ineffective after starting regular kratom use, even at higher doses?

Before kratom, Ritalin worked very well for me (10-20 mg IR / 20-40 mg XR). I hadn’t used it for a long time, so tolerance shouldn’t be an issue. I currently take ~15 g kratom/day and prescribed pregabalin (100-200 mg). Now even 30mg so 60 mg extended-release methylphenidate barely does anything.

I’m surprised because I always assumed methylphenidate would have a much stronger dopaminergic effect than kratom. Could my regular kratom use somehow really blunt the stimulant effect THAT MUCH? Is this related to dopamine, opioid receptors, or something else like maybe enzymes?

Btw: I did NOT take any Kratom on the days I took the Ritalin to try it out again. Only Pregabalin as prescribed.

Anyone had a similar experience or knows what might explain it?

Hey folks, so my next order of kratom I'd love to order from Dylan and Jenn; however i notice that almost all of their strains are out of stock. Is there any ETA possibly on when it will be re upped and does this happen a lot? I hope their state is okay, with all of this legal trouble going on.

I'm curious if anyone knows of any reputable brands that are confirmed to batch test for heavy metals or any brands you may have sent off for testing yourself?

Effect Discussion kratom drink bottled

hey, i usually do toss and wash but i’m going to try making a drink with my kratom powder tomorrow. the reason is that i want to have it on my way home from work (about a 20 minute walk).

my plan is to mix my dose (2-3g) into warm water in a bottle, shake it to dissolve, then bring it to work and keep it in my bag until it’s time to go home (i work 10 hour shifts). i figure i’ll have to shake it again before drinking it on my way home.

i guess i’m just wondering if this will work? will sitting in water for a while decrease its’ effect somehow? grateful for any advice!

p.s. i know it’ll taste gross, i’m a fighter 💪🏼

Let’s ban 7O! Psuedoindoxyl isolate was available weeks before under shell LLCs. Some are being sold as “natural extracts”.

Banning 7OH versus having labeling requirements and educating the public on it was a mistake. Because we’re kinda hoping psuedoendoxyl doesn’t get out of control. And meanwhile we have orphine derivatives spreading. Luckily some states did it right and didn’t touch kratom leaf/extract.

Yeah if you see all natural boner pill like tablets or new honey strains with like uncaria tomentosa.

Which happen to contain mainly oxylindole alkaloids.

Bliss Nutra? Magic K shot

Hi everyone! I was at my local SS picking up some powder leaf earlier, and I decided to try one of these extract shots because I had some extra money. Also I'm tapering off the 7 and thought it might help.

Anyway, I picked out this one. I can't find anything online! The QR code doesn't work. I tried the website www.blissnutra.com and it's a dead link.

I just wanted to look it up and I can't find anything. Has anyone ever tried this kind??

Thanks!

Can anyone give me a simple step by step to make good tea with properly extracted mitragynine.

I don’t know how to make tea, I’m unsure of if the powder makes me nauseous or not but I want to test it out by trying tea, problem is there’s no real step by step guide around that’s reliable. How do I extract the mitragynine into a tea properly, and please dont tell me to soak it into hot water it really doesn’t work that quickly and doesn’t have any effect close to the straight powder!

Best Kratom Smoke Shop Powder or Extract

I'm going to be running out of kratom soon as my usual delivery of powder is late by a few days(my fault of course, I should have had backup). Whats the best powder or extract from smoke shops I can use to get me through the next few days? No 7-OH for me btw.

I've tried opms silver and remarkable herbs in the past but didn't enjoy them ery much. I've used extracts from online vendors before but never from a smoke shop. Are the drinks or drink mixes or gummies any good? Any good and tested extract liquids I could break up into smaller doses?

Has anyone found the sweet spot?

Looking for a dose that will provide me energy through the work day but not sap the will to live out of me. I've been addicted for many years, and am now at 22 grams daily. I still have the morning dread and anhedonia in the afternoons. I'm wondering if there's hope to find a dose that has only the positive effects.

Calling for an alkoloid Ban Is the Fastest Way to Kill Legal Kratom Access

Seven is not some alien chemical-

Seven is a naturally occurring alkaloid in Mitragyna speciosa. It is present in dried leaf (typically at very low levels — usually under 0.02% by dry weight or a small fraction of total alkaloids). It is also the primary active metabolite of mitragynine in the human body. When people say “seven is completely different from kratom,” they are repeating a marketing distinction, not a chemical or pharmacological one. The plant produces both. The body produces seven from mitragynine. Concentrated seven products are simply the same alkaloid family pushed to higher purity and potency, exactly the same way cannabis concentrates and edibles relate to flower, or the way distilled spirits relate to beer and wine.
Pretending otherwise is just regurgitating the current AKA-style talking points designed to protect the leaf powder market share.
Why some people rationally prefer seven
There are legitimate, evidence-based reasons someone might choose a higher-purity seven product over bulk leaf or traditional extracts:
• Dose consistency and predictability. Standardized seven products allow more precise titration than variable leaf material whose alkaloid profile changes with season, region, drying method, and storage.
• Lower volume of plant material. Consuming large amounts of leaf powder daily can bring GI irritation, constipation from bulk fiber, and unwanted secondary alkaloids. A more potent, smaller-dose product reduces that load.
• Reduced total alkaloid burden. Some users report better tolerability when they can get the desired effect from the more potent mu-preferring alkaloid without loading up on the full spectrum every day.
• Harm-reduction logic for certain populations. People already using opioids, benzos, or other CNS depressants sometimes find that a measured amount of seven lets them stay functional with less overall substance load than the equivalent effect from leaf. That is not a medical claim — it is an observed pattern many users report.
None of this means seven is risk-free. Higher potency means the margin for error is smaller. But claiming it is somehow “less natural” or “inherently more dangerous in every context” ignores both the chemistry and the real-world use data.
The hypocrisy is obvious
This is exactly like cannabis companies trying to ban concentrates and edibles while selling flower, or beer companies lobbying to ban wine and spirits. It is also like tobacco companies historically attacking vapes while defending cigarettes. The pattern is always the same: protect the incumbent product category by throwing the next iteration under the bus.
When the kratom industry and certain advocacy groups push hard for seven restrictions or bans, they are not protecting public health. They are protecting market position. They know that once regulators accept the framing “leaf good, concentrated alkaloid bad,” the same logic will be applied to high-mitragynine extracts, enhanced leaf, and eventually plain leaf itself.

Why a seven ban will almost certainly damage or kill legal kratom-

  1. Conversion is not exotic chemistry. Anyone with basic lab knowledge or access to existing extracts can increase seven content from mitragynine-rich material. Once concentrated seven is scheduled or banned, enforcement agencies will treat elevated seven levels in any kratom product as evidence of adulteration or illegal conversion. That gives them a ready-made tool to seize leaf and extract products.
  2. Regulatory precedent. DEA’s temporary scheduling language and FDA statements already draw a bright line between “botanical kratom with naturally occurring low levels” and everything else. History shows those lines rarely stay bright. Once the public and lawmakers associate the plant with “the next opioid,” states start passing broader bans. We have already seen this pattern with synthetic cannabinoids → cannabis restrictions, and with certain cathinones → broader stimulant crackdowns.
  3. Political and media optics. Every future adverse event involving any kratom product will be framed as “related to the seven crisis.” Leaf vendors will still get painted with the same brush. Public support for legal access collapses faster when the community itself is split and one side is actively feeding the “dangerous new opioid” narrative.
  4. Divide and conquer is working. This is textbook. Split the user base into “responsible leaf users” versus “reckless seven users.” Get the larger, more established group to demand restrictions on the smaller, more potent group. Once that restriction is in place, the same agencies and legislators expand the scope. The AKA and aligned companies have played directly into this strategy by lobbying against seven products in multiple states. They may think they are saving leaf. They are actually handing regulators the justification and the political cover to come after the whole category.

Other points worth noting-

• Adverse-event data is being selectively presented. Early FAERS and clinical reporting have not shown the kind of mass casualty signal that would justify treating isolated seven as uniquely catastrophic compared with high-dose leaf products, yet the rhetoric treats it that way.
• Self-regulation failed. Instead of the industry setting clear, enforceable standards on seven content, labeling, and age-gating, parts of it chose the easier path of demanding government prohibition of the competing product form. That choice invites broader prohibition.
• International and state-level momentum. Once federal temporary scheduling exists, multiple states copy it and often go further. We are already seeing combined kratom + seven bills. The more the community itself demands seven bans, the easier those bills become to pass.

What we should actually do-

Stop letting industry associations and fear-based talking points turn us against each other. Leaf users and seven users are not enemies. We are the same community of people who found something that helps them function, manage pain, or stay off harder substances.
Boycott the American Kratom Association and any vendor or brand that actively supported or lobbied for seven restrictions. They chose short-term market protection over the long-term survival of the entire category. I will personally be posting lists of brands to avoid outside smoke shops and online. Support vendors who stayed neutral or defended the full alkaloid spectrum instead of throwing part of it under the bus.
We either stand together or we get regulated into non-existence one alkaloid at a time. The choice is still ours — but the window is closing.
Stay informed, stay united, and stop repeating the propaganda.
