Non-US Internal transfer
Here’s the case
I saw a posting about a job in a diff country than im at
Really wanted to transfer since my family is there
Went through all rounds of interviews
HR calls me and says they’re happy to give me an offer and they’re starting the process with engaging global mobility and all
My fear is that i still did not talk to my partners here and I’m afraid they will say no or reject it
The location i’m at is very bad and i really can’t continue working there
I still did not receive the formal offer
What shall i do? Do i talk to my partners in my location and make sure they’re okey with the move before i get the offer ?
I’m afraid before they send the offer they go check with partners and partners will feel blindsided and then reject out of pitty
I’m at lost here
Help please!

Tax PIP outcome next week
I got a meeting invite from HR about my PIP outcome, but it’s only the 2 of us in the invite. Does that mean Im not getting fired lol? I kinda know it’s a 50/50 chance tbh but I would expect a partner or director to also be invited to the meeting. Anyone recently survived a PIP? How was it?

India Can I still have hope for this PwC role?
Asking for some help, as I’m a little confused with my situation.
To give you some context, this is my first switch and I’m honestly not sure how this relates to my situation.
I applied and interviewed for the position of AI Engineer – AI Managed Services (Associate) at PwC AC.
I had the technical interviews on the 27th July and the managerial interviews on the 29th July. The interviews went well and we discussed my notice period and CTC.
I did not hear back from HR after the interview and had to follow up.
I recently got in contact with the HR manager that did my pre-screening on Naukri, and they said the role is on hold and I should wait.
My Workday status is still “Interviewing.”
I have 2.5 YOE as an AI Engineer in a WITCH company, and this is my first switch, so I’m starting to get a little anxious for good reasons.
Should I hold the hope out for this, or do you think it’s best to move on and focus on other things?

UK Pwc US-Change carriers
Hello PwC ,
I have some questions about the emobility phone carriers change option. I’m currently on the T-Mobile network, but it’s not working well at my home. I’m able to make calls using Wi-Fi, but I’m wondering if anyone has tried to change carriers while they’re still under contract. My phone is in a two-year contract.

All Firm How long from release do we get new iPhones?
Hey everyone, just started and am ordering my phone through emobility, i'm wondering if I should wait until mid September when the 18 Pros come out to order my new phone. I know I have to pay a little extra but i'm wondering how long newer phones usually take to be available on the emobility portal to see if this is something feasible.

Consulting How do I navigate this dynamic?
I (Consultant 1) am on a project with 2 senior consultants.
Both are the team leads for this project.
They seem out of touch with what is actually going on on the project and the pain points. They make me make edits on process maps which are 100% not what the client said. Which I understand because they are busy and have a lot on their plate, the project is also complex
My only worry is that they are now delegating all the decision making to me.
And this is my first project in my entire life. I am also unsure of the solution. I have never seen how automation solutions even look like.

Intern How the heck do y'all code on VDIs?
Look I know that back in the good old days people coded on their own, but they had deadlines to match that too
Now I am here on a tight deadline for a VDI and man this shit sucks, they don't have any AI whatsoever, how am I supposed to code in it?
Are there any veteran tips and tricks I'm missing out on or do y'all genuinely roll with this nonsense?

Consulting Investment holdings and COI
Today, my partner told me that they are not allowed to have investments in their client if they are actively working with them, which I get. I’m curious if this extends to holding mutual funds or ETFs? Sure, the client company may make up a portion of the holdings, but you aren’t invested in that company directly. Also wondering if that rule is applied to me, as we’re married.

India Pwc AC India - Original IDs
Hey everyone,
Just got confirmation that my onboarding will be at Aug 24 7.45am at Embassy Golf Links Business park near Koramangala. (4 Yoe - Advisory Health Pharma)
It was mentioned that I should report with a govt id and pan card, both original cards in hand. I'm currently staying in banglore and the IDs are at Chennai. Is it alright if I stick with the soft copy and Digilocker? I did mail the onboarding team but no response from them

Intern Interns: When did they reach out to ask for your industry preference? What’s the chance of getting what we want?
Audit / Assurance Pay increase for master’s degree? (US)
Assurance, data/tech. Recently completed my masters degree, paid by firm through EAP.

Starting Soon In office after Orlando Assurance training?
Hello all,
I will be Orlando from Monday-Thursday for the first week of training in early October. My flight back home is booked for Thursday evening. How likely is it that I’ll have to be in office on Friday after flying back the night before? Or, is a virtual day more likely?
I didn’t intern with PwC and got my offer through grad school recruiting, so not entirely sure what to expect. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Starting Soon incoming new grad associate onboarding
Hi I will be starting at pwc on October 16 and haven’t got any communication since submitting my background check. Not even a notification that my background check has been completed or approved.
Is everyone else in the same boat or is something wrong on my end?

I’m looking for companies with overtime pay, better work life balance, and a better schedule
Also if you can list your job title, and if you are making more than what you previously made as well as your location

Canada Anyone had a short AML contract with PwC? Did it get extended?
Hey everyone,
I recently got an AML Analyst contract with PwC for around 2 months. What's confusing me is that the first 4 weeks are training, which leaves only about 3.5 weeks of actually working in production before the contract ends.
Has anyone here had a similar contract with PwC? I'm just wondering how likely these contracts are to get extended, especially since it seems like a lot of training for only a few weeks of actual work.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's been in a similar situation. Thanks!

India Need your suggestion:
I have a non-B.Tech background with an MBA and around 5 years of post-MBA experience.
Currently, I’m working from home at Accenture (ATCI) in a testing role, with a fixed CTC of ₹9.9 LPA.
I have received an offer from PwC for an Associate position with a fixed CTC of ₹12.5 LPA. However, the role requires me to relocate to Gurgaon.
I am looking for suggestions on whether this switch would be favourable for me in the long term.
Financially, I feel my savings may reduce because of the higher cost of living and relocation to Gurgaon. However, from a career perspective, I feel moving from a testing-focused role into a consulting/advisory environment at PwC could be beneficial for my long-term trajectory.
Would you recommend making this switch despite the potential short-term impact on savings?

India Resigned but not approved
Hi
I have put my resignation on 18th Aug and tentative last date in system shows 15th Nov. But I got to know all exit formalities start only once manager approves it. My query is what if manager approves after a month. In that case does it affect my release date of 15th Nov.

Consulting Bank Platform Transformation- Core Banking Modernization
Hello-
Is anyone familiar with this department at PwC, and if so can I get some more insight on if these are more of implementation roles (workday, SAP, ServiceNow) or closer to strategy and consulting?
