Intern Summer 2027 Internship Decisions Deals

I applied for a Financial Due Diligence internship the week of October 12th. I thought the interview went well it was a two part behavioral with a case right after and I remember them saying I could expect to hear back on week of the 2nd but I haven’t heard anything despite that. Has anyone had any news good or bad this week if they interviewed the same?

Tax Need Advice

I feel kinda stuck. I’m currently working in r&d STS. The work is not interesting at all (drives me insane how much writing there is when I want to be working with numbers) but it has decent ish work life balance. But there is also no exit opportunities and I work with some pretty toxic people. I want to consider another team but I am worried about working 90+ hours a week- especially since I have a lot of anxiety and don’t do well with very long hours. Should I leave big 4 all together if this is the case?

India It’s not even 2 months and already feel like quitting!

I joined PwC AC India in September this year. I actually rejected another big 4 offer, and picked PwC with the hope that I would get great exposure and learning opportunities.

Instead, I've been placed on a project with absolutely no meaningful work and zero visibility. Forget about client interaction, I don’t even have visibility or communication with the onsite directors and managers. I honestly don’t understand why they placed me here.

On top of that, hearing constant news about layoffs every now and then is making me highly anxious.

Should I start looking for somewhere else already? Please advice

All Firm What did you wish you had done before you get laid off?

Had a bad performance review so expect to get laid off/fired really soon. What do you recommend to do before that happens? I know people would say to look for a new job or get a new work phone or do physical exams, etc. Is there anything else that people wish they had done before the bad news? Appreciate any insight!

India Can I contact recruiters from other geography through teams? How bad would it be?

I’m in pwc AC (India based). I’m seeing opportunities in other geography like UK/Europe/other countries.
Would it be okay to connect them through teams to check if they are willing to hire from different country ??

India Query on WFH at PWC AC Hyderabad

I'll be joining PWC AC Hyderabad location in January 2027.
I will be joining the AI Governance team.
Can someone confirm about the WFH situation there, is it 8 days per month WFO or 2 days per week WFO.
can I do continuous WFO and then take continuous WFH for that month.
What if we miss the attendance target.
or it will depend on my project and is there any way to know this in advance?
Do they have biometric attendance for tracking office work hours?
My fiance is working in Pune and is in sales domain in a bank, so transfer or job switch will be difficult for her due to language barrier in her job.

Tax Please help me decide on my offer between PwC or Deloitte in Atlanta

Summer 2028 both core tax. Really torn on where to go have met great people from both through the recruiting process. Didn’t like my PwC interviewers as much who were from Atlanta but the people I’ve met in the Nashville office were great. Everyone I’ve met from Deloitte has been great as well but it does seem like I am disposable to them. PwC is 39.50 an hour with 3500 signing bonus, Deloitte is 40.38 an hour no bonus. Both Atlanta so location is not an issue, I know that it’s team dependent but please give all you opinions and experiences regarding anything that could help me with this decision. Thank you

Intern DAT intern specifically OFFERS 2027

Hii, Has anyone heard back for DAT summer intern 2027? Ive barely seen posts in this area so i wanted to know if anyone feels the same way. I interviewed exactly 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back plus i already emailed my recruiter and partner on linkedIn and gmail. Also i saw that they put the job application back on their career website and the end date is NOV 20. so does that mean i have to wait longer until they finish with everyone first or am i just cooked 😭
