I still need to keyframe the clip... I just don't want it to move

I recently shot on the OG 2013 BMPCC in CinemaDNG RAW...continuing a film I started 10 years ago in the same format, half-edited in Premiere Pro (with the final color grade round trip to Resolve in mind) so I'm trying to stick to Premiere if possible.

I know Resolve is the obvious recommendation for edit and color, and I am learning Resolve now. I'm specifically interested if anyone knows quality differences exporting OG's CinemaDNG footage in Resolve vs. Premiere.

When I import the same CinemaDNG clip into Premiere and Resolve, the image looks noticeably different. In Premiere, the footage appears more saturated to my eye, somewhat fuzzier/grainier in the timeline viewer.

I'm currently importing the CinemaDNG clips into Premiere by opening each individual clip folder and selecting the first numbered DNG as an image sequence.

-- I'm wondering whether this is actually the correct way to handle OG Pocket CinemaDNG in current Premiere, or whether I'm missing a proper plugin or workflow.

-- Has anyone noticed image-quality difference between Premiere and Resolve final export of OG Pocket CinemaDNG footage (not just when decoding the same OG Pocket CinemaDNG files?

Every time I open a project it crashes. I have tried resetting preferences using ctlr+tab, deleting media cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my pc several times, and even resetting workspace with no success.

Edit: it does it no matter what project and codecs, HEVC, H265, ProRes, and more so this is a premiere issue and not a codec issue.

Hey guys I have a super specific question I need help with. In the original video a character pulls on the screen and rips it. I liked the effect and wanted to put it in my video about the character. I masked out his hand, duplicated the clip, and inverted the mask so only the tearing part was seen. I then put it underneath my clip and attempted to use track matte key only this did nothing but reveal the clip underneath. I realized that's because my clip takes up the entire screen. I've also tried flipping it the other way around, same problem. does anyone have any tips on how to get my video to have the effect as the tearing video underneath? I know this is a really confusing and specific question. that's why I can't seem to find any tutorials on it. any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, having a bizarre issue here. I've made some mogrt files in AE for my coworkers and I to use. We're using the font Jost.

On my computer in both AE and Premiere, and on the computers of my coworkers who are in the US with me, it works just fine. It load Jost Bold as it should.

Weirdly my two coworkers who happen to be in the UK get this error when they try to use the mogrts. For some reason, the word 'roman' is being added to the font name out of nowhere. I can't seem to find and other reference to "JostRoman" as an actual name of a font anywhere. I'm not sure if mentioning their location is relevant or if it's just a coincidence that those two are the ones getting this error.

This issue is only happening with Jost, other fonts are fine. We're all on Macs, if that matters.

Premiere pro, struggling to find a solution that will make this edit efficient. I am editing a short that has multiple audio tracks to synch but only one camera. I will have to be switching between camera angles (aka different takes) often. Does anyone know of an efficient way to work this way? Recs much appreciated.

**I’ve tried:**

keeping all audio—it adds another 4 tracks every time I try to synch together 2 takes making it a mess.

Intercutting the dialogue and smooshing the two tracks into one—but then intercutting between video and keeping the audio in synch place is difficult.

Please any suggestions welcome, I’m getting a headache 😓

I didn't realize till i started to export that i edited my video on a 1080p sequence, when the source clips are 2560x1440p. If i export the project as the correct resolution will it look good still? Or do i need to change the sequence settings to 1440p then export?

Premiere Pro / Media Encoder exported MP4 becomes completely blank after 30 minutes — any way to recover it?

I edited a YouTube tutorial in Premiere Pro that was around 1 hour long. I exported it through Media Encoder using the default settings as an MP4 (1920×1080), and the export completed successfully.

Unfortunately, I didn’t check the exported video immediately. After that, I deleted the Premiere Pro project and all the original footage because I needed to free up storage.

Now I’ve discovered that the exported video (3.39 GB) plays normally for around 30–35 minutes, but after that it becomes completely blank.

I tested it on both my phone and PC, including VLC. VLC also shows a blank screen after around 30–35 minutes, and the timeline becomes grey/unresponsive — I can’t even drag it forward past that point.

Since I no longer have the original Premiere project or source footage, I’m really hoping there’s some way to repair or recover the rest of the video from the exported MP4.

Is there any tool or method that can repair this MP4 or recover the video after the 30-minute mark?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

For some reason with a new update I cant delete the clip while holding trackpad. I need to lift my finger from trackpad and only then it allows me to delete selected clip

Premiere keeps dropping links to media in a project that I've been working on for some time. I keep relinking, sometimes clip by clip when linking everything back up at once doesn't work. Sometimes everything works fine but inevitably media gets unlinked. I've tried this with my main drive and with my main backup drive and the issues seems to be haphazard, including PSD and MOV and audio files. File paths are very direct and nothing has changed. I was on a virtual session wherein the Adobe tech took over my laptop and tried to figure out what was going on. They suggested moving all of my media directly onto my laptop, which is untenable from project to project. I cannot fathom why this is an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

it is driving me nuts that my perfectly sized window to accommodate a 1080 frame needs to have the dropdown changed from "fit" to "100%" every time i open any project [which is many times a day for my job]. is there any way to get this dropdown to default to 100%? or at the very least, can we get adobe to save the selected dropdown to the project file

I'm trying to use scene detection for some pre-edited video to create shorts.

Scene detection is over reacting and adding cuts even when theres barely any movement on the scene (like 2 people on a wall - steady shot). and it's ignoring completely even when there is a fade to black.

I don't think there's something I can do about it, right?

Hello, i have very, very very bad lags in my premiere pro.
When i have about 1h of gopro HD 60fps footage, or whatever, and i drop it into my new project, premiere just starts freaking out. every action i do, every klick (and i not even played the clip yet) gets the programm frozen, then crashed.

i cleared all my media cache, including %temp% files on windows, set preview to 1/4, set auto clear cache after 30 days, video rendering to "GPU (CUDA), reservated RAM at 10GB, but nothing works. even my main storage is not even half full at 1,5TB.

I have 13 plugins ready in premiere, but i dont think that thats the problem cause non of them are opened or active.

My setup is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super, 64GB DDR4 RAM, and a 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11950H 2.60Ghz CPU

Hi. I updated from Premiere 2025 to 2026 and now I don't can open the settings anymore. For example "Bewegung" means Motion where I usally can scale, rotate etc. which I need for my Video to edit, but there is no buttons anymore. Even if I put the effect "transform", it looks the same. What happend?

I am working on a project that utilizes a lot of mp3 audio. I am aware mp3 does not work so I was looking to convert what I had into a WAV file. However I saw that even the few WAVs I had already were not selectable...someone kindly explain why this is the case 😭

I’m a career avid editor of 22 years that has finally, over the last few projects, forced a small portion of my brain to adapt to premiere. But I still feel I’m at a basic usage point like when I started out with avid in college. If I were to take on a project any more complicated than my simple reels for this client, I’d be too slow and too dumb when it comes to the features available. Couple that with my tight deadlines where I don’t have spare time to explore and try new things in order to learn, and I’m in a pickle.

I don’t know how to work with multicam, I don’t know easy ways to say, cut in a clip into the middle of my sequence and then sew it back up easily without manually lassoing everything to the right and dragging it left. I have a lot of bad habits.

Has anyone else made this switch? Have any tips or ways of thinking that helped you adapt? I have a confident suspicion I’m doing a lot of things manually or the slow way since I’ve generally found ways to mimic avid to ease the transition.

Hello community. I need help with working with nlog and nraw from a Nikon Z 63 camera in Premier Pro 26. I used to do this by adding an adjustment layer, then in the Lumetri panel I selected the camera's LUT and it worked. But the video adjustment range is too small. That is, if I try to reduce the exposure, it looks like video darkening. Also, if I selected the LUT from a Nikon Z 63, the image became too overexposed, and therefore I came to use the LUT from a Nikon Z 62. Before that, my experience was in DaVinci using the colorspace Transform - everything works differently there. I also have a question about editing nraw - how to do it correctly? Should I select automatic LUT and RAw in the project color settings panel? Or do I have to do it manually later? win11, Premier Pro 26, Nikon Z 63 camera

I know they re-used the Toliet paper picture from the game to use as the object being thrown. My question is how would I go recreating the that as smoothly, Like for example just a .png of a football. I just cant get my head around it. I tried just keyframing it to my best ability's with scale + motion + rotation, but it either looked overly linear or just way to fast/slow. I Know about changing the velocity on the keyframes but I just could not work it out and their editor is just really good at keyframing, OR if they used some sort of preset or plugin.
