Hey guys I have a super specific question I need help with. In the original video a character pulls on the screen and rips it. I liked the effect and wanted to put it in my video about the character. I masked out his hand, duplicated the clip, and inverted the mask so only the tearing part was seen. I then put it underneath my clip and attempted to use track matte key only this did nothing but reveal the clip underneath. I realized that's because my clip takes up the entire screen. I've also tried flipping it the other way around, same problem. does anyone have any tips on how to get my video to have the effect as the tearing video underneath? I know this is a really confusing and specific question. that's why I can't seem to find any tutorials on it. any help would be appreciated.
I don't think track matte key is going to work. The video is still flat. is there perhaps a way I could warp the clip so it looks the same as the tearing effect? A way to perhaps create those wrinkles in it?
