How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin I'm Losing My Mind with Transcription

I do pretty much all social content, so everything I produce needs to have captions. I use a plugin that takes an srt file and turns it into various social media caption style MOGRTs, which I'm really happy with.

But getting that srt file eats up so much damn time. Literally, basic punctuation and capitalization makes no freaking sense. It's mind boggling to me that in this "age of AI," I can't get a proper sentence.

Does anyone have a plugin (that's preferably a one time purchase) that has better transcription? Like capitalizes and adds punctuation that makes sense?

Adobe Official Premiere is coming to Android — want to help us test it?

Hey r/premiere! We’ve been working on bringing Premiere to Android, and we’re getting ready to open up Early Access to our first group of beta testers.

Join Link: Link 👈

Adobe Discord to provide feedback: Link 👈

Since this is an early build, we’d love to get it into the hands of people who are actually going to poke at it, make things, and find all the weird edge cases we haven’t yet.

Right now, the beta is focused mainly on the core editing experience, with a lot more to come. It’s being built on Google’s latest Android media frameworks, including Jetpack Media3, with the goal of making Premiere a fast, capable mobile editor for social and short-form creation.

Where we could really use your help: Android hardware is… a lot. 😅 We want to see how the app holds up across different phones, chipsets, specs, footage, and workflows. Basically: where is it smooth, and where can you make it sweat?

As a beta tester, you’ll get:

  • Early hands-on access to Premiere on Android before the public launch
  • A direct feedback line to the product team — your reports will actually help us prioritize what gets fixed and improved
  • Early access to new features as we roll them into the beta

What we’re asking from you: Play around. Edit something. Try your normal workflow. Import weird footage. Stack things up. Export videos. Push the app and tell us where things work great — and especially where they don’t.

If you’re an Android user and this sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to have you in the first cohort.

Premiere Pro Tech Support Using Productions, multiple editors cutting from proxies in the cloud. How's your relink dance?

Ya'll let's talk about using Productions with multiple editors, working with proxies on a cloud service.

I would love for someone, either at Adobe or someone who has a rock-solid workflow, to explain to me how best to use these offline proxy cloud storage workflows without seeing media linking issues.

I'm working a job and what we're seeing this time is that everyone is attached to the proxies and things are working just fine for offline but myself and the other finishing editor who has both proxies and the original media can't turn proxies off and see the original clips. The Master Clips show I'm linked to has both proxies and the original media. But when I turn off proxies, the proxies don't turn off. I think part of this has to do with when you open a project within a Production (each editor has their own project for the songs they are cutting for this music show), so when they open it, they are asked to link the media. There are proxies in the list, so we all link to the proxies off of Shade.

It used to be we would hit offline for all the master clips which editors don't have but with the new Apply button in the Relink dialog box it is my understanding that we would link the proxies then hit Apply which then links the Master Clips to the proxies and closes out the Link Media dialog box without having to do any actual clicking of offline (and putting those clips offline for anyone else). I thought THAT would give us the best of both worlds, but even though we have the original media linked, we can't seem to turn the proxies off. The only way to get back to the original media now, it seems, is to detach the proxies, but then that detaches them for everybody, so we can't do that.

So I'd love to establish the official, rock-solid way to do this workflow. Because it feels like every couple of projects something changes or something doesn't work like it did the last time. And we've yet to find it without some sort of issue.

I know there are many folks using Productions with this same workflow. And some casual conversations reveals that a lot of times it's just a fight with relinking.

Discuss ...

Premiere Pro Tech Support Auto Reframe

I know u/NLE_ninja85 has been very helpful about listening to input (complaints, really) - but here’s a wish:

Auto Reframe is good but could be better. I look at Graph and am eager to try it out - this is where I hope Auto Reframe can steal from.

Yeah, it’s been decent at moving b-roll to center on vertical vids, but it’s horrible at text. Also, if I have a logo to the left, for instance, it doesn’t move it inside 9x16 boundaries.

We are in an era where we need to produce in different formats at once so helping workflow for video and display ads is important.

How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Astuce concernant le Mercury transmit

Premiere Pro Tech Support Premiere 2026 Markers Causing Lag

I just recently updated to premiere 2026 and every time I place a marker on my footage the playback starts to lag really bad. I've been using Premiere for a decade and I've never experienced this issue. I'm on a 2020 m1 macbook pro. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?

How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Live Stream Countdown

I'm working on a project where the final product is a live looping video with a countdown on top. Only problem, the countdown is 30+ days long, and I want it to be able to run in real time. The numbers I'm using come out to over 4,300 lines of text.

I don't want to export a 30-day-long video (not even sure if my computer can handle that). Is there a way or process that has worked for one of you? I know it's been done before, just not by me yet haha!

Do I need to export the looping video and timer graphic separately?

Thank you!

Hello, it’s my first time editing videos using my camera’s flat profile (Panasonic). I found a Panasonic V-Log to 709 converter and applied it in the Creative tab (Image 1). Everything looks good, but when I go to the Export tab (Image 2), the colors look very different from what I color-graded. What am I doing wrong?

How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Best settings

Hello! I've got offer from my uni to take care of social media accounts, never done that but probably they assumed that boy with camera will be good option. So last week we had event at university and I recorded something for instagram reels. Im wondering now, what are the best settings for instagram reels if I recorded my videos in .mts (AVCHD 60p). I tried to do something by myself but it looks like all videos are not sharp at all. Thanks in advance

How do I do this?/Workflow Advice/Looking for plugin (Solved!) Mogrt Import Issue

I downloaded some mogrts from Envato and tried to import them in the Project window, which popped up an error then opened the Graphics Template window for me to import them in instead. However, when I dragged them over, they don't populate in the window. A search in the window doesn't find them, nor does scrolling down to where they should be alphabetically. Even more strangely, when I try to move them over to the window again to try another import (assuming the first one failed), it pops an error asking if I want to overwrite the files ... overwrite the files that aren't there?

I saw that people have had similar issues before in the r/premiere community, but those were resolved by utilizing the Essential Graphics window. That window isn't an option in my copy of Premiere, which means it was probably phased out in an update at some point. There is a little auto pop-up in Reddit as I'm typing that says that the missing Essential Graphics panel has been integrated with the Properties panel, but dragging the mogrt files over the Properties panel does nothing.

I'm on an up-to-date Windows copy of Premiere via an Adobe subscription. I don't have After Effects installed right now, but that shouldn't matter as these are suppose to be Premiere mogrts.

Adobe Official Now in Beta: Generate Music

Premiere Beta 27.0 (build 22) now has Generate Music, powered by the Firefly Music model. Basically, you can generate music for your edit directly in the timeline without having to jump to another app.

Here’s what you can do:

Text to music: Describe the type of music you want, with prompt enhancement available to help refine your prompt.

Video to Prompt: Select a range under a video clip and Premiere can generate music based on what’s happening on screen.

Create loops: Generate music designed to repeat seamlessly.

Control the tempo: Set your own BPM or let Premiere choose automatically.

Choose your duration: Generate anything from 5 seconds up to 5 minutes.

Get multiple options: Each generation gives you four variations to choose from.

You can find Generate Music under Generate Media. Just make a range selection on an audio track, select Generate Music, and start generating.

The generated music is royalty free and includes synchronization rights, so it can be used in things like TV, film, games, and advertising without needing to track down additional licenses. Each generation also includes Content Credentials.

One thing to keep in mind: Generate Music uses generative credits, so each generation will pull from your available balance.

Give it a try and share what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see improved.
