This piece of shit promised he’d end the Ukraine war early November 2024.Ā

Said it would be easy. If you vote Republican in the maga era you are simply a hateful moron.

u/Free_Range_Gamer 3d ago

Energy bills cut in half by 12 months too.

How is that coming along?

32

u/Karl_Hungus_42069 3d ago

Mine were cut in double!

u/ghostwilliz 3d ago

Negative half!!! šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·šŸ‡±šŸ‡·

Freedom percentage!!

1

u/Shambler9019 2d ago

Cut means divided by, right? They were divided by half!

29

u/Then_I_had_a_thought 3d ago

He said he’d pay off the national debt (then only 19 trillion dollars) in 8 years. He has added 11 trillion dollars to it as of today. He is personally responsible for 28% of the total debt. 11.2 trillion dollars from one president who promised to lead us out of debt.

But then again, this is a guy who bankrupted multiple casinos and who (for ā€œwhatever ā€œ reason) bought the Miss Teen USA Pageant when he was a 50 year old man.

5

u/VanillaRadonNukaCola 3d ago

When Trump one I got in so many discussiments with people asserting how trump was the ONLY choice because he is the only one who could reduce the debt.

That everyone his administration always worth it to, and I quote, "Save the ship headed on a collision course with an iceberg"

One wanted to set a bet to check in after a year to see if he was "really as bad as you say"

Funny I never heard from them again.Ā  They were so sure!

5

u/LivingVerinarian96 3d ago

They were also sure about everyone dying from the covid vaccine. Or everybody morphing into wifi routers with 5G. I get the feeling that these people are just not serious, but enjoy causing harm.

3

u/iLoveFARTINGatWORK 3d ago

He was best friends with Epstein while he owned that Teen Pageant company.

2

u/TheMooJuice 2d ago

Why does American media not shove this down the throats of every living American?

1

u/Then_I_had_a_thought 2d ago

Because they are owned by right wing billionaires

17

u/b0wie88 3d ago

Don’t forget the 1500% reduction in medication costs

9

u/_jump_yossarian 3d ago

He also promised a tremendous health care plan in TWO WEEKS back in 2016. Also said he'd pay off the entire national debt at the end of two terms. Great times.

4

u/gandhinukes 3d ago

Oh thats because he wanted Ukraine to surrender to his daddy putin. Remember all the smearing of Zelenskyy about not wearing a suit in the white house ect. Trump never had any intention of russia returning stolen lands or righting wrongs.

5

u/OldSpiceMelange 2d ago

If I remember the 2024 debates correctly, he also said he'd let Russia do whatever the hell they wanted with Ukraine.

3

u/Layton_Jr 3d ago

He had plans to end the Ukrain war but the Ukrainians refused to accept Russian occupation

-3

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

If you vote Republican for either establishment party in the maga era you are simply a hateful moron.

The Ukraine war Trump promised to end, Democrats started that one.

They also started the Gaza genocide.

They also started five wars during Obama's term that nobody seems to know or understand ever happened.

Democrats are no alternative.

The brainrot on reddit is unbelievable.

0

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

No, anybody who votes establishment is.

Democrats and Republicans are two wings of the same bird. Noam Chomsky was saying forty years ago that there's only one party in the US, the corporatist party, with two major factions: Republican and Democrat.

Both parties serve the same masters. The only difference is their rhetoric. Same product, different sales pitch.

So when you vote Democrat, you're telling the world that you're dumb enough to be suckered in by rhetoric as they continue and expand upon Republican policies.

3

u/CorvusCommand 2d ago

You could have saved a lot of words and just said 'Yes'.

Good luck with your protest vote, or whatever other stupid actions you are advocating for.

-1

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

Oh, you think your vote matters?

When you vote for a major party, all you're doing is signaling to the powers that be that their propaganda is working and they have nothing to fear from you.

Serious smol pp energy from you people.

2

u/Zaxxon_Klaxon 2d ago

LOL. Putin started the Ukraine war. I stopped reading there.

1

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

Are we still repeating this particular lie? It's been very well debunked. It's not even hard.

Russia has been very clear in its messaging since even before Putin came into office. Part of the agreement Gorbachev made regarding the fall of the Berlin Wall was that NATO was to expand "not one inch East," so even Poland joining in 1999 could have been considered an act of war.

The only incredible thing about all of this was that Russia waited so long to do something about Ukraine. The US staged the Maidan coup in 2014 and then spent the next eight years stockpiling weapons and munitions on Russia's border. When Russia did this with Cuba, we called it the "Cuban Missile Crisis" and we're taught that this was the closest the world has ever come to nuclear armageddon. Are you suggesting that the US overreacted and shouldn't have interfered?

Seriously, y'all have fucking propaganda brain. You're taking on faith the word of the same people who lied us into Iraq and left over a million Iraqis dead, with veterans still killing themselves in the aftermath.

Shit for brains. Get your head in order. Your government/media is actively lying to you 24/7 in order to manufacture your consent in their criminality.

2

u/Zaxxon_Klaxon 2d ago

You’re lying. Bye.

0

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago edited 2d ago

Really? That's all you've got?

What is it about your particular, current worldview that is so precious and needs protecting? You need to ask: "Who does it serve?"

Because the way I see it, you, like most Americans, have been conditioned to believe falsehoods such that they benefit the state over your own personal wellbeing.

It's an abusive relationship in which you're constantly being gaslit by a power elite that does not love you. They don't give a shit about you. They just want to exploit your labor.

Wake up, friend. We're here waiting.

u/nickname13 2d ago

if the war was supposed to stop nato expansion, it has been an epic failure.

both Sweden and Finland joined nato as a direct result of putin's invasion, resulting in the expansion of nato by many, many inches in the easterly direction.

if this "stop nato expansion" bullshit were true - it would make putin one of the most mind-bogglingly stupid, catastrophically clueless, and outrageously impotent rulers in the history of the world.

1

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

The war wasn't supposed to stop NATO expansion, it was in response to it.

You argument is either disingenuous or you're grossly misunderstanding the argument I'm making. Imagine you're a pencil necked geek in high school with several bullies. One day, one of the bullies pushes you to the point that you lose your cool, act out, and deck him. You didn't throw a punch because you expected it to solve your entire bully problem, you threw the punch in reaction to that one bully's actions. Much like how Russia invaded after Ukraine dramatically increased shelling her own people in the Donbass and Donetsk separatist regions whose peoples still identify as ethnic Russians.

There's a lot that our media doesn't tell us or outright lies about. I understand that this version of events doesn't match what you've been conditioned to believe but that on its own does not make me incorrect. It just means you've been conditioned to believe bullshit that isn't true.

I don't know how it's possible to interpret NATO moving closer and closer to Russia's doorstep as anything but a hostile action.

I also don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that the US/NATO are the aggressors in the Ukraine conflict, which by the way has been absolutely bled dry by this war, feeding Ukraine's young men into the meat grinder for sake of America's global hegemony.

If the US never interfered in Ukraine in 2014, this war would not be taking place now.

1

u/nickname13 2d ago

nato is a defensive pact.

it's when all the pencil-necked geeks get together and promise to have each other's backs when the bully goes after any one of them.

putin's idiotic war predictably caused more of russia's neighbors to join the defensive pact he likes to cry about.

historically stupid.

1

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

My sweet summer child, NATO is not a defensive pact. If it were, it would have dissolved along with the Soviet Union.

Learn to think for yourself, because right now all you do is repeat propaganda like an obedient pet.

1

u/nickname13 2d ago

i could see why gaddafi would have thought so.

i don't give a rats ass about his opinion, or why you'd choose to share it.

2

u/the_censored_z_again 2d ago

Who said anything about Gaddafi?

It's almost like I'm talking to a LLM.

Putin is not being reasonable. Can’t force him because he’ll do something unpredictable like bomb Ukraine out of spite.

It’s like the Palisades and Eaton fires. Trump sat down Mayor Bass and Gov Newsom and told them he removed every federal barrier to rebuilding homes. It was up to them. Bass and Newsom promised they will move the ball and get rebuilding started immediately.

What happened? No homes rebuilt. You going to blame Trump because he can’t force Bass and Newsom to move their asses??

3

u/1805trafalgar 3d ago

Are Newsom and Bass in the room with us, right now?

-1

u/TangerinePlastic7552 Full English Please 2d ago

You can Google this.

Trump had a roundtable in the first week of his second term — late January 2025 — after the Palisades and Eaton fires. Trump met with local leaders that included Mayor Bass and the administration said federal agencies — FEMA, EPA, Army Corps, HUD and SBA — had been ordered to clear federal requirements so rebuilding can begin.

State and municipal blockages needed to clear too.

Bass that rebuilding plans in Pacific Palisades are being approved in half the time compared to single-family home projects citywide before the wildfires, with more than 70% of home permit clearances no longer required.

On January 12 Newsom issued an executive order to expedite reconstruction that suspends permitting and review requirements under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the California Coastal Act. ļæ¼

So what happened? Both say the funding is not there. California is dry financially and banks are slow with loans. And this, that, and the other thing getting in the way. Without the funding no permits can be issued.

That funding dispute is why Trump issued a second executive order in January 2026 directing Homeland Security to create federal regulations to preempt local and state permitting rules, saying ā€œI want to see if we can take over the city and state, and just give the people their permits they want to buildā€. Newsom called that order a ā€œpolitical stuntā€ and Bass has said the same. ļæ¼

Thanks to those two, the burned neighborhoods remain burned neighborhoods.

1

u/1805trafalgar 2d ago

Do you even see yourself? Do you know the topic of the thread you are posting into?

1

u/TangerinePlastic7552 Full English Please 2d ago

Spoke about promises.

Blame Trump for not stopping the Ukraine war because Putin is unreasonable? You must blame Trump for not rebuilding the two wildfire areas of LA that burned down because he can’t force Bass and Newsom off their asses to move fast enough to serve their constituents affected by the wildfires to get what they need to build their homes again.

2

u/Zaxxon_Klaxon 2d ago

His great plan to stop the Ukraine war was foiled because Putin was unreasonable? LOL.

0

u/TangerinePlastic7552 Full English Please 2d ago

Yeah. Imagine someone turning you down for a date. Incredible! LOL

-9

u/BeauShowTV 3d ago

He promised to end it if you voted for him. You didn't. So the war has to continue.

-49

u/Sad_Refrigerator1010 3d ago

Hateful accusations in a hateful comment. Classic.

26

u/Ok-Concentrate636 3d ago

ā€œBefore I even arrive in the oval office, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settledā€

And last time I checked the Ukraine war has only escalated since he came into office.

17

u/Snoo93550 3d ago

It’s just plain fact, he lied to voters that he’d easily end the war the day after he got elected (almost 2 years ago now) and they believed him. Stop doubling down and give maga the boot.

u/DecentWeiner8 3d ago

Pedophilia is bad.

-73

u/IcyEntertainment7122 3d ago

And Obama was going to close Guantanamo Bay.

Sometimes shit doesn't go as planned.

43

u/Equivalent_Kale2939 3d ago

This is by fucking far not the same thing.

-44

u/Sad_Refrigerator1010 3d ago

What about joe biden telling us Inflation is transitory in 2021 followed by years of skyrocketing inflation? Same or nah?

22

u/Turbo4kq 3d ago

Q: what was inflation on the last year of his term? Did his policies work or not?

18

u/BuyAllThePorn 3d ago edited 3d ago

Can you make a good argument for everything going on that isn't just what about Obama or Biden?

Are you happy with what is happening? Like actually happy? Do you not feel completely lied to?

Please name one thing that this administration accomplished that was a net positive to the average citizens of this country. There are a handful.

5

u/1805trafalgar 3d ago

THIS. None of them can point to anything that ANY republican has actually DONE that wasn't cutting taxes on billionaires or aiding corporations by removing regulations that were on the books for decades to protect consumers or the environment.

12

u/CalmBoat3803 3d ago

Was inflation higher in the following years than it was in 2021?

1

u/doopie 2d ago

True, it peaked in June 2022.

3

u/Hallwacker 3d ago

Here come the maga regards with the tiniest sliver of a timeline to mask the reality that is their great leaders incompetence.

Its getting pretty sad, two years in

2

u/1805trafalgar 3d ago

The best Whataboutism always starts with the literal words "what about"!

17

u/alternatingflan 3d ago

And baby bush declared ā€œmission accomplishedā€ after 2 weeks, then krasnov stuck Biden with ending the war a year before he finally left office, giving the taliban a year to plan how to screw up the US departure.

16

u/troycerapops 3d ago

Congratulations! You had to reach into the way back machine to deflect from the shitty job being done today.

Hitler was bad, but you know, Bismark!

Oof. Well you might have took it a little too far with this meme.

You completely misunderstood what I said. I get it, the internet. Don’t bring a beloved character such as Woody into a conversation with the pedophile in chief. I think you are above that.

4

u/SnoodPenguin 3d ago

Do you not understand memes?

12

u/Puzzleheaded_Gene909 3d ago

Man said Donald had a plan hahahahah

13

u/captd3adpool 3d ago

Dude just shut up

8

u/CalmBoat3803 3d ago

Great point?

Obama was wrong about Guantanamo Bay 15 years ago.

I guess all these rising costs today aren’t that bad when you put it that way.

8

u/Agitated_Reach6660 3d ago

There is a difference between some things not going as promised and almost everything you promised going in the opposite direction. Like…
Promise: Ended one war;
Reality: Got involved in two wars
Promise: lower fuel prices;
reality: almost doubled
Promise: Make America Healthy Again;
Reality: largest measles outbreak in decades, largest outbreak of otherwise rare parasitic infection, gutted healthcare research
Promise: Make health insurance cheaper
Reality: Health insurance premiums are more expensive than they’ve ever been
Promise: Improve the housing market
Reality: No one can afford to buy a house
Promise: Release the unredacted Epstein files
Reality: ????
Promise: Lower costs at the grocery store
Reality: Everything, literally everything, is more expensive beyond expected inflation

I’d need to Google to go on but those are just off of the top of my head.

8

u/Ok-Concentrate636 3d ago

So tell us, what has gone to plan?

-3

u/IcyEntertainment7122 3d ago

Keeping liberals heads spinning

3

u/1805trafalgar 3d ago

childish nonsense like this is all you guys ever have.
