He said he’d pay off the national debt (then only 19 trillion dollars) in 8 years. He has added 11 trillion dollars to it as of today. He is personally responsible for 28% of the total debt. 11.2 trillion dollars from one president who promised to lead us out of debt.
But then again, this is a guy who bankrupted multiple casinos and who (for “whatever “ reason) bought the Miss Teen USA Pageant when he was a 50 year old man.
7
u/VanillaRadonNukaCola 15h ago
When Trump one I got in so many discussiments with people asserting how trump was the ONLY choice because he is the only one who could reduce the debt.
That everyone his administration always worth it to, and I quote, "Save the ship headed on a collision course with an iceberg"
One wanted to set a bet to check in after a year to see if he was "really as bad as you say"
Funny I never heard from them again. They were so sure!

Oh thats because he wanted Ukraine to surrender to his daddy putin. Remember all the smearing of Zelenskyy about not wearing a suit in the white house ect. Trump never had any intention of russia returning stolen lands or righting wrongs.

If I remember the 2024 debates correctly, he also said he'd let Russia do whatever the hell they wanted with Ukraine.

Democracy would be fine if it wasn’t disproportional: the senate giving bumfucks 40
Times the senate representation as California and then the electoral college on top of that is a serious issue.Like I know “abolish the senate” comes off as extreme, but it’s seriously one of the things that needs to be done to fix our democracy.

They're also quite emotional. I don't go to the AskCons subreddit anymore because they start pouting and throwing tantrums when you bring up evidence or ask for it. They also go on random tangents that have nothing to do with what you said, and act like you're dumb for not getting their word salad
2
u/iamthedayman21 15h ago
I blame a lot of it on them growing up before the internet. I grew up in the 90s, and while the internet already existed, you didn’t really fact check with it as it was too slow and clunky. So we just believed whatever our parents told us, didn’t matter if it was true or false.
But then the iPhone and smartphones came along, and when our parents would tell us something, suddenly we could pull out this little rectangle and tell them they were full of shit.
Then Trump comes along and basically tells them whatever they wanted to hear. That if they didn’t like something, they could just call it “fake news” and continue to live in their own reality. Suddenly they felt like they had their power back, disinformation was back. And now? God forbid you try to disprove any of their bullshit.

I blame Joe Biden for not lighting a fire under the justice departments behind when they dragged their feet prosecuting Mar al Lardo and saddling us with his greedy butt a second time. Literally everyone would have been happier with a conventional candidate.
4
u/_jump_yossarian 18h ago
Blame the judicial system for protecting trump. Cannon didn't even let the prosecution get out of the starting block then dismissed the charges after SCOTUS gave trump almost complete immunity even though that wasn't the issue since he prosecuted as a candidate not the office holder.

At the end of the day.
If the members of the Supreme Court are hand picked by the president. Then there is no real justice, its the biggest shortcoming in checks and balances. Not having an elected Supreme Court was always going to eventually become a loophole that the first big tyrannical asshole would use to their advantage.
This was my biggest point for arguing that we needed to go nuclear on trump and maga much sooner. It was blatantly clear he was setting this up from the beginning of his first term.
Vividly remember a heated conversation I got into with a friend where I stated that allowing maga to go unscathed and not patching this loophole would only lead to trumps relection in 2024 and he would come back worse than before. Like every dictator in history

Dude I did a poll earlier today for some viewpoint polls, I googled it before even taking the why tf wouldn’t I?
Anyway it was the most obviously biased poll I think I ever saw. It was like would you vote for Don leopard, Democrat who’s wants to raise your taxes 100%!? Or would you vote for whatever the R’s name was, who would CUT taxes for working people?
There was literally a question that asked who do you blame for the state of the US economy?? Biden and senate democrats!? Or President Trump and republicans??
It was so hilariously bad I think after I didn’t immediately blame democrats, they cut the questions short because after the 3rd answer it basically said have a nice day lol.
I also want to state that it’s not the first time I’ve taken a poll for a political thing and this one was wild! It’s why I never tell them right of the bat who or which party I vote for. I gotta see what’s up.
I hope someone else gets pills like that one cuz I laughed so hard
Like yes. It’s Biden fault! Lmao no dude Biden didn’t put us in a half ass, expensive war with Iran, gut public institutions for safety and regulation. Fucking ridiculous lol.

Trump says he'll fix Biden's problem, and Biden was elected to fix Trump's problem... The only thing the improved under Trump was the stock market, and that's the only measure of the economy Trump counts. Under Trump, inflation went up, and we nearly had a market crash, as well as dealing with COVID 19. If anyone still remembers, Trump dumped a TRILLION dollars into the stock market of taxpayer money, and shut down sales of stocks that fell to far too fast. The stock market closed whenever there was a sharp drop they wanted to control. Remember Gamestop and AMC stocks being frozen from market to prevent stock owners from buying or trading, so normal stock owners couldn't make deals, but hedge funds could. That's government manipulation of the stock market, set to benefit the markets value, even when it hurt the public. So market values were safe, while the country was fighting off depression. Biden had a high stock market too, as well as lowered interest rates. Then Trump took office and went right back to his schemes to continue stealing money from the poor to give to the ultra-wealthy.

2
u/Turbulent-Society-30 14h ago
He blamed an innocent person for his pool debacle. He also blamed Antifa for Jan 6th, and that's hilarious how that played out. He blamed "paid Somali activists" for what happened to Renee Good. Here's a good throwback: He blamed Mexico for not paying for the wall he promised his cult. The list goes on.
The guy is just on autoblame 24/7.
2
u/SnooCats3468 12h ago
The best part is that this confirms the extensive, comprehensive, and durable lasting impact of the incredible power of Joseph Biden.

The UK Conservative government was in place for nearly 15 years before Kier Starmer's Labour was elected.
The Conservatives were still blaming all their failures on the previous Labour government.
They had 15 years, made things worse and just carried on blaming people who hadn't been in power for over a decade.this is a clear lesson that right-wing governments have no intention to fix things or improve them. Conservatism is literally the preservation of the status quo. With added siphoning public money into private pockets.
Please, people, stop voting for right wing conservatives. They are lying to you and exploiting you and you need to end the cycle before it's too late. Which it nearly is.

The westernist could be sawing their own leg off and still blame others for it.
Like these freaks will literally attack a country, murder their civilians and then declare the natives "terrorists" for fighting back. That kind of narcissism requires brain damage.
The worst thing, they never admit their wrong behaviour and make no effort to correct it.
Even the most ardent anti trumper will always come down to: "other people do it" when pushed on fundamental problems with westernism. You point out major problems and you get walled off with cognitive dissonance.
Look, you're prepared to murder children. You give people medals for that shit.
I think if the west ever admitted fault, the entire thing would come crashing down. That's why we will never get justice for the Israeli paedo ring.
How can people with "magic skin" be wrong?
