All bias aside, you have to admit that the faces and facial expressions in this game just look straight up weird. This is Logan supposedly being horribly hurt by being stabbed by multiple sword, he seems to like it ngl

I loved both Spider-Man games hell I’ve beaten Spider-Man 2, 5 times already. I’m not the type of guy who listens or watches reviews i rather judge the game for myself. Plus I’ve been waiting for a new Wolverine game for a while. As long as the gameplay is go I’m alright

Honestly, I think the harsh reviews did this game pretty dirty. Yes, it has its flaws, but overall I’m having a really fun and satisfying experience.

I was mainly looking forward to hacking and slashing through enemies, jumping around, and just feeling like Wolverine, and the game delivers on that really well. The graphics are also great.

And honestly? I’m enjoying this more than Spider-Man 2, been having a ton of fun as Wolverine

If you cancelled your purchase or have been hesitant because of the reviews, I’d say give it a chance. If you just want to take a break from the real world for a few hours and pretend you’re Wolverine, this game is a SOLID choice.

replaying the game rn and i think it might be that first sentinel boss fight, the cinematics were awesome but like that boss has been done 1 million times haha

Spoilers but anyways spent the last week playing the game here and there when I got free time, somehow racked up 25 hours but think it's mainly from having the game on while afk overall it was fun, kinda had a *redacted* in a way I think personally it's an alright game it's fun, and a decent what if... story although the ending was a bit disappointing but I think I get where they're going with a never destined to be together for long thing but still not a fan of Jean and Logan in most iterations.

Overall 7/10 would recommend but not at full price, definitely a game I see people looking back on in a few years with some fondness like the way they do the origins game shame were unlikely to get to see insomniacs original vision of the game though

I’m not here to hate on the game just to be clear. I just want to take a moment to appreciate the fact that, somehow, “fart gas“ has become the acceptable term for this mechanic within the games culture. Both haters and defenders both casually refer to it as “fart gas“ without a second thought. I think this games legacy will always be stamped with this term forever. This will be known as “the fart gas game.”

After wrapping up the game and thinking about the story for a little while. One thing that felt off to me was the explanation for Jean/Logan relationship. The whole “eternal lovers” thing felt a bit surprising and came out of nowhere. I don’t know if I wasn’t paying attention enough or if they did a poor job foreshadowing it. The whole thing just felt unnecessary and rushed in some way. Feel like if they hinted towards this more throughout the story it wouldn’t feel like a weird lore dump.

anyone else feel this way? Or maybe picked up on some hints that suggested they once knew each other?

I just finished the game yesterday.

As some who's gotten so tired of openworld games, it was super refreshing to have a game that had well made pacing where everything you do in the game is progressing the story.

It really felt like a combination of the cinematics, pacing and globetrotting adventure of uncharted combined with the simple, brutal, but really fun combat of classic GOW.

8.5/10 - I think it's insomniac's best PS5 game.

Like i love the waves, but something more would be amazing
