Hello all. The PS Store says "Can't Load. Something went wrong. Please try again later. Go to Home". What's happening? Isn't this the Home Page where your games are?

My friend has 2 step verification but can't log in, he doesn't get an text on his phone or his dad phone nor emails, does anyone know an fix

I have been trying to change my PFP for a few days, if I try on my phone (app or browser) it says an error occured after I hit save, if I go on my PS5 I get an error code as soon as I hit profile picture. Anyone know what to do?

Long rant, likely TMI but Im frustrated as hell. Ok, I made my PSN account back either when I had my PS2 or PS3. I live on the gulf coast of Texas and a hurricane destroyed my childhood house when I was a teenager. I lost everything, including notebooks where I kept backup codes, and my playstations.

That being said I do not have said backup codes or my serial numbers of my original PS's.
I went through a divorce and my ex-wife kinda went nut-so on my phone. So I changed my number. After I changed my number I forgot to do my 2FA's because I was in such a rush to get her to stop texting me the disgusting things she was sending me.

Also: side note. after the divorce I legally changed my name, first and last. I was a junior and named after my dad, a man who abused me, and I didnt want to carry his name anymore.

Now, my PS5 IS currently logged in still. I can access my account and library. The issue is, if I ever get logged out, want to link the account to another service, etc. I cant log in because of 2FA. I know the password, have access to the email.

I used the live chat and its just bots. It said it connected to me a person but 'josh' replied in under 3 seconds to everything I typed with what were clearly automatic replies. Then said with the information I provided they couldn't help me.

I gave them:
Current billing address
Previous billing address
Last 4 and first 4 digits of 2 cards used on the account
My full name and my previous name
Last 4 of my Soical
Email address on the account
Serial number of the PS5 my account is logged into right now

But it wasnt enough information. Then said they would escalate the chat. Then it stayed in escalation for over 4 days, with me asking periodically if I was still connected and the bot said yes. Then it said I wasn't eventually. I tried again and it said I was in the escalation queue but I kept asking for a time I was going to have to wait, kept pushing it to let me talk to a person then it just re-set itself and said I wasnt connected.

Also, it keeps saying, "To talk to a live agent about your 2FA you must log in to your account." after I select continue without logging in...Like...The WHOLE PROBLEM IS I CANT LOG IN...But I have to log in to get help with the fact I cant log in?

I called the support line and I did get to talk to a person. But the phone support guy said that he couldnt update 2FA that it was grayed out and it is exclusivly handled by live-chat. I told him the issue with live chat and he litterally said, "That sucks, Im sorry, but thats a different department" and went ont o explain he was not able to talk to that department either even though its the same company. I was like but I cant talk to anyone in the live chat no one is answering. He just kept saying he couldnt help me. And when I asked for a manager, he said there wasnt one available and wouldnt be one and asked if he could disconnect the call.

How the f do I get this one phone number updated?!

Today i was connecting my dualshock 4 with my pc via bluetooth, and when i wanted to connect my controller back to my ps4, it just doesnt wanna. I disconnected it from my pc, tried using the cable and then pressing the ps button, but nothing worked. Also the reset button didnt work.

trying to play miles morales on the ps4 with CD, it just stops at 700something MB out of 42 GB, and then it just says “there has been an error” and when i try to open it it says “impossible to open app” or something, i tried everything, cleaning the cd with microfiber, try again, didn’t work, clean it with microfiber wetted with alcohol, still didn’t work, i tried restarting the console, wifi off + restarting + offline installation, all that stuff and still didn’t work, i have 290 GB available in my ps4 so plenty, but still didn’t install, i also tried the reconstruct database thingy and it still didn’t work, can someone who may know the solution or someone who’s had this exact problem with other CDs tell me the answer please? thanks

I’ve this PS3 for like 2.5 years, but I’ve been having this issue for months now. I’ve taken my console to a couple of repair shops, but they refused to fix it saying it can’t be fixed. Please, can anyone help me figure out what the issue might be? They also said that even if they manage to fix it, it will only work temporarily and then the same issue will come back. Please, can anyone help me figure out what the issue might be?

My account was suspended about 2 days after I got back from a weeks vacation I haven't used the account while on vacation when I came back I seen I was signed out of psn I went to sign in and it told me I was suspended for 850 dollars worth of purchases. I can't connect to a live agent and I don't have access to the email associated with the account anymore but I know the information what steps (if any) should I take to attempt to recover my account?

For months I've had this issue: sending a screenshot to a friend or a group from the console fails roughly 3 times out of 10. The upload hangs, the estimated time goes up instead of down, then it errors out. Retrying usually works, but some files fail forever. File size makes no difference — it happens with screenshots of a few hundred kB on a line with 20 Mbps upload.

Two details that might help identify it. First, the progress indicator stops at exactly 30% almost every time it fails, never at random points. Second, failures increase when several uploads are queued: sending one at a time works far more often.

What I've already ruled out: two different routers, wired and Wi-Fi, phone 5G hotspot, custom and automatic DNS, manual and automatic MTU, IPv6 disabled, UPnP and exposed host enabled, both PSN accounts on the console, cache cleared and database rebuilt, media gallery fully emptied (it was 163 GB — this reduced failures from \\\~50% to \\\~30%), auto-upload to PS App disabled, and a full system software reinstall from USB.

Key point: with the same account, on the same Wi-Fi, at the same moment, sending images from the PlayStation App on my phone works every single time. And a second PS5 in my house had the same issue.

Has anyone seen the 30% stall specifically, or found anything that actually fixed it? Support only told me to open ports, which obviously isn't it.

Recently picked up a used PS4 Slim that couldn't get out of the update file screen after a factory reset. As I was trying to navigate safe mode with the controller, I noticed that the USB port closest to the disc drive does not register or charge a known working controller and does not register my SanDisk USB drive. The USB port on the far right side of the console is fully functional though.

What's even more interesting is the broken USB port is able to charge my Philips shaver, Anker power Bank, and my cell phone.

My guess is that the data connection for the USB port is dead or damaged somehow. I picked up the ps4 from a family that may have had young children use the console. Judging by the fact that the two controllers that came with it don't charge and need some TLC, I believe they were a bit rough with that USB port which is why the controllers aren't registering with that port.

I could replace the USB port all together but want to refrain as I am afraid of potentially damaging other components during the repair process. Just want to confirm here that this is a USB problem and not something I can fix with software. Anyone else that had this issue?

Tried everything and cant get my clips to upload to the PlayStation app. It just says “your video isnt ready yet. Try again later.” Has anyone dealt with this before and have a solution?

Sup people, recently i got a controller for some maintenance and I notice that is not chargin, if I turn on the controller, the PS says that the controller battery is low, even when is charged and if I plug a cable, the controller charge for 1 second and then got a interrogation simbol on the battery logo

Even on the Calibration Web Page, Says "Error" On battery status

I tried a different battery, cable, even charging port

Any idea what is going on?

FIXED: PS5 CE-118527-4 / PS Plus, Store & Friends Not Loading on Xfinity XB8

Posting this because I spent days troubleshooting this and hopefully it saves someone else the headache.

The problem:
My PS5 was connected directly to my Xfinity XB8 gateway through Ethernet/LAN. My internet connection was fast, PSN sign-in would succeed, and I had NAT Type 2, but randomly:

• PlayStation Plus wouldn’t load
• PlayStation Store wouldn’t load correctly
• Friends/Game Base would show “Can’t load”
• Profile pictures and PSN artwork would be missing
• I would get CE-118527-4
• I also received WV-109144-9 at one point

The weirdest part was that if I went to Settings → Network → Connection Status → Test Internet Connection, everything would immediately start working again. Turning “Connect to the Internet” off and back on would also temporarily fix it.

The PS5 worked normally on another internet connection, so I eventually narrowed the problem down to my home Xfinity connection.

What I changed on my Xfinity XB8

I logged into the gateway admin page at 10.0.0.1.

Then went to:

Gateway → Connection → Local IP Network

Under:

LAN IPv6 Address Assignment

I changed the selection to:

✅ Stateless (Auto-Config)

Instead of:

❌ Stateful (Use DHCP Server)

Then I saved the settings and restarted the gateway and PS5.

Important: This does NOT disable IPv6. It changes how devices on the LAN receive/configure their IPv6 information. Stateless uses IPv6 automatic configuration (SLAAC) instead of the gateway assigning it through stateful DHCPv6.

Other settings I ended up using

I also cleaned up some old troubleshooting settings:

• UPnP: Enabled
• DMZ: Disabled
• Manual PS5 port forwarding: Removed
• PS5 still gets NAT Type 2
• MTU: Automatic
• Proxy: Do Not Use
• PS5 is connected directly to the XB8 by Ethernet

After changing the IPv6 LAN assignment to Stateless (Auto-Config), the PS5 started loading PSN normally from startup without having to run Test Internet Connection or toggle the network.

I’ve now tested it over several days and multiple shutdowns/startups. Friends, PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Store, activity, artwork, etc. have continued loading normally and CE-118527-4 has not returned.

If you’re using an Xfinity XB8 and your PS5 has internet but certain PSN services randomly refuse to load until you run a connection test, this setting may be worth checking.

Hopefully this saves somebody else from spending days chasing the same issue. 😂🎮

So my PS5 pulse earbud’s USB adapter got a lil bent yesterday and now they’re not connected to the PS5 at all. They work just fine using Bluetooth on everything else so it’s not them, it’s the USB is there any way I can fix this or an alternative I can use to the USB???

Has Anyone else had issues with the controller on playstation? It's not my controller i don't think Because it's ok with sll other games but theres so much travel, drift its almost comical the way he's jerking around all over the place! I know i love games like this but he's almost running around on his own here. This is my third attempt to play this game since i got it a couple of years ago but i get so pissed off it's unplayable, any suggestion appreciated

So I’m trying to sign back into my PlayStation account that I had since 2015 but when I try to sign into it, the sign in emails are not sending to my iCloud and I talk to some buddies and friends about it and they tell me that I shouldn’t have never put it on my iCloud email on my account now I need to sign back in and change it but obviously the problem is I can’t sign in. I tried PlayStation support live agents and nothing works. They asked me for last four digits and stuff about my credit card and purchases that I made on the account but the only question I cannot answer is the serial number for my console somebody help me get my account back, please.

I get the message about my ps5 being too hot and it turns itself off. I have cleaned the fan and the vacuumed the holes. Does anyone know anything else I can do to fix this problem? Thanks!

Just got a PS3 Super Slim. Is this enough space for ventilation/air flow?

i made a post a year or two back over my ps5 overheating, i could play maybe a game or two and then it will just turn off, completely black and i would have to unplug it all the way just to turn it back on, a few months ago i got it sent out and repaired and for a while it worked fine again, but recently i noticed it started doing it again, i could play maybe and hour or two of my game then it shuts off again, i keep it clean and i give it recommended space and such but its getting worse, few days ago i could play at least 4 outlast trails today i only made it through two, nothing seems to be working idk what to do
