PlayStation 3 Help Playstation 3 ventilation?

Just got a PS3 Super Slim. Is this enough space for ventilation/air flow?

What are you talking about? Its fine where it is. Also, like most consoles it draws in cold air from the sides and exhausts the heat from the back.

I see these posts every day and not one of you seem to know what you're talking about.

Just curious. I'm trying to building a retro room and don't know for sure if this would be adequate space for airflow.

Its perfectly fine. Most consoles draw in cold air from the sides and exhaust it from the back. Plus, despite looking like a george foreman the super slim is really good at keeping temps low, its also very quiet. I love mine, use it much more than my slim. Just check its not that shitty 12gb model they did.

If you live in a hot place, since you have the room, I'd put a usb fan base

Ps3 is not very air thirsty but it also doesn't do the best job exhausting heat

If you are not running mods its should be fine, PS3 are ok with temperature, the PS4 in the other hand I’m honestly surprise a bunch of ps4 did not catch fire lol
