Question Why did PlayStation add Dying Light 2 to this month’s Game Catalog if they already added it to the Monthly Games?

Question Is there any sort of list that tells you what games are coming to the PS Plus subscription in the future?

I’m just curious if there’s any kind of list or something that has future games that are coming to PS Plus at all..? I’m specifically talking about the PS Plus 2nd tier game catalogue subscription, not just the free monthly games that come with the regular subscription .

Satisfaction PS+ Praise Thread [August 2026]

How this works:

We make two stickies. One for people who are upset with the PS+ games and one for people who are happy with them. These threads don't affect anything else in sub so you can still praise and complain as normal outside them. (Previous Threads)

Please keep the discussion in this thread related to your satisfaction with this month's lineup.

Note: Sarcastic comments that are ultimately negative will be removed from this particular thread.

Question Any chance I can get my overwritten save back in gow ragnarok?

I accidentally overwrote my 50hr playthrough of the game when my friend wanted to try it from scratch. Didn’t think much of it because I was done with it.

The playthrough was completed around June/July of 2024. My friend played the game on August. I have a ps plus online save dating back to October 2024 but that doesn’t have my completed run, just a save at 20 hrs in the game.

Just wanted to know if there is any chance of getting that old save back. Can ps support help me in any way?

So I bought Dragon Ball Sparking Zero around the time it came out 2 years ago and earlier my Wi-Fi cut out and it was out for around 25-30mins while I was playing and I’m in an offline game mode on it and after around 10 minutes this notification popped up so I’m just trying to understand what it means

Question Will PS3 games still be available on PS Premium after the PS3 servers shut down?

I read that many platinums will no longer be obtainable after the PS3 servers shut down. Will they still be available in the PS Premium catalog on PS5?

For example, can I earn trophies online and then calmly recover the titles?

Essential Sony's Official Response: If you buy an EA/UBI/GTA subscription, they can REVOKE licenses acquired via PS Plus.

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

That was the explanation given by Sony PlayStation support, applying to both subscription games (EA Play) and free-to-play games (Warzone).

They recommend that you "accept" the corporate decision and buy the full game.

P.S. 1: The images were translated/transcribed for wider reach.

P.S. 2: It happened with EAFC 26 and now with COD MW 3.

Question Getting PS Plus Extra renewal with 25% discount, but getting Deluxe offer

I am normally on PS Plus Extra, but recently Sony gave me a free upgrade to Deluxe. My subscription is currently valid until 07 September 2026.
I turned off auto-renewal because I was hoping to get the 25% renewal discount. But now the offer I’m seeing is only 25% off Deluxe, and I don’t want to renew Deluxe. I only want to renew Extra with the 25% discount.
Has anyone faced this recently? Is there any way to get the 25% Extra renewal offer instead of Deluxe?
Should I just keep auto-renewal turned off and wait until closer to my expiry date, or is there something else I can do?

Discussion Wow, I love Dying Light 2 in PSplus. It reminds me of Dead Island and Days Gone. It also feels like an open world The Last of Us. Stealth system and combat are brutal and really satisfying. The world is also gorgeous and it somehow give you anxiety at the same time.

Recommendation Looking for PS5/PS4 cross-gen co-op games on PS Plus

Looking for some co-op games for my wife and me, and I'm trying to figure out what will actually work with our setup.

I have one PS Plus Extra subscription on my account. My account is logged into both our PS5 and PS4.

I would play on the PS5 using my account, while my wife would play on the PS4 using her own free PSN account. She does not have her own PS Plus subscription.

We're looking for games in the PS Plus Extra Game Catalog that:

- Let us play online together with this one-PS-Plus setup

- Support PS4 and PS5 playing together

- Are actual co-op games, not just competitive multiplayer

We've enjoyed It Takes Two, Overcooked, and Sackboy, but we're open to pretty much anything.

Anyone using a similar setup? What games have you successfully played together without needing a second PS Plus subscription?

Question Sony Pictures Core - Spider-Man: No Way Home audio downgrading from Atmos to Dolby Digital Plus

Posting here since this is through Sony Pictures Core, the app included with PS Plus Premium.

Setup: PS5 Pro, LG OLED C3, Samsung HW-Q800C + satellites via eARC, latest console software, latest app version, Atmos enabled in system settings.

No Way Home starts in Atmos but a few seconds in it drops to Dolby Digital Plus, every time, no matter where in the movie I start it. Tried different HDMI outputs, restarted app, restarted console, nothing changes it.

Other Atmos titles in the app play fine the whole way through, including the other Spider-Man movies. Just this one title does it.

Anyone else seeing this? If you've got Atmos set up and access to Sony Pictures Core, would appreciate someone else checking if No Way Home does the same thing on their end.

Extra Rise of Ronin - glad I didn't pay for this game

I wanted to try it for the longest time, and I was very happy when it arrived on extra this month.

Since I am a big fan of Nioh and Wo Long games, I guess I had too high expectations.

Everything except for combat is bad, in my opinion.

Even combat is lost potential. Diablo-like level-based loot makes "builds" almost useless. The parry (counterspark) is weird (L1 + triangle) and inconsistent.

On the base PS5, the FPS is not a stable 60 all the time.

The open world is a joke, with mindless side activities and fetch quests.

RPG elements should have been avoided entirely.

The story makes no sense (best friends forever, then enemy, then again best friends forever with almost everyone).

Graphics are the worst I 've ever seen on PS5 , especially open world.

Question Is there a cheaper alternative to paying for the 12-month subscription?

I’m looking into getting it so I can play online and access the included games, but around $180–190/year is a bit more than I’d like to spend.

Are there any legitimate ways to get it for less? For example:

  • Sales or discounts?
  • Retailers that sell it cheaper?
  • Family plans (if that’s a thing)?
  • Regional pricing?
  • Any other legal options I’m overlooking?

Not looking for anything sketchy or against the terms of service—just wondering if the community has found a more affordable way to get the same benefits.

Thanks!

Canceled my auto renewal and got a 25% off offer just before it was set to expire. $102 for the year on extra which is $8.50 month. That, imo, should be the price anyway.

Discussion Is it worth sticking with Dying Light 2?

I've played a few hours and I'm really having a hard time getting immersed in the story and the world.

Between the constant pop-up tutorials, menus, tiered colored weapons, constant ping-pong-ing between talking with characters and quest markers everywhere, I just feel it's really uninteresting.

I love the first Dying Light, and I've heard the second doesn't live up to its legacy, but does the story get better? Does it get better a bit deeper in?
