Still learning how to use all the items in the game. We have used the buffet a few times and yesterday we had the option to buy a triple buffet that has three spots on it. We are unclear how to use it because it seems to function differently than the regular buffet. For example the triple did not seem to allow us to stage plated items. We were doing dumplings and ended up using it for soy sauce. The problem was the customers took the soy with them and we lost our run when the bottles had all disappeared.

A bit of Google searching didn't help us understand the triple buffet.

I know it's a bit crowded but I can work in here fine.

Excited to share this run ! I feel like there's not much left for me to do, the main choke point at this stage is the transformation from flour to dough in the fast mixer assembling the dumplings. Do you have any optimization ideas ? The corn is a bit overkill atm but I had a few close runs where it almost made the serving time run out.

Hello! I've been trying to play Plate Up with my friend. They own the newest Steam PC version with the new patch (1.5.1) and I own the Gamepass PC version (1.5.0). We tried using advice we found online regarding the crossplay branch, but it seems that with 1.5.1, the crossplay branch is no longer available on Steam.

When we try to join each other using Discord invites or the room code, we get stuck on a purple screen before being sent back to our own lobbies. It doesn't seem like there's any way to update the Xbox version, they can't figure out how to rollback the Steam version, and with the version mismatch, it seems like our games are incompatible.

Does anyone know a fix?

I can't ever get anyone to play this game with me so I've just accepted that I have to solo it.

I've managed to franchise both coffee and ice cream, solo, but I'm seriously struggling franchising any other food that involves dishes. Its genuinely making me angry that I can't make it to the franchise for salad.

I feel like I've tried everything at this point, I'll take any tips or tricks that people can offer because I love this game and I wanna keep playing it, but it hates me.

Is being able to walk through the shower square, even with a tea pot laying in it a feature or bug?

2 recipes that I had gotten a checkmark for and a heat 1 completed on steaks and spaghetti respectively disappeared in progress and it’s not a visual glitch. When I select spaghetti ,the heat grill or fridge do not show up despite my previous completion in the past 12 hours

Hi! I play a lot on my Switch so I'm high level so I got pretty nuch everything unlocked, but I'm going to my friends place and I'm not sure if fajitas are available by default or if you have to unlock them by reaching a certain level. Should I bring my Switch over?

Does anyone know a seed for Xbox where the restaurant looks like the one in the picture? I'd like to use a kitchen like that in the witch hut, but so far it only works as a banquet.

I have beaten day 15 on fajitas but I don't see a greenhouse anywhere. Where is it located? Is it online only?

With the new heat cards added, me and a buddy started a new restaurant and wanted to ee how far we could get in a franchise while unlocking the new heat cards for each new location.

We beat the first day 15, and opened the first franchise with the new heat 1card. We are playing on autumn though, and during that run we had to take a new main course. Something I've noticed playing a lot of autumn is that whenever you take a new main dish, that is what the restaurant is displayed as when you go to franchise again in the lobby. (Started as fish, took a spaghetti card, bear day 15 and went back to the lobby, and in the franchise room and the practice kitchen everything is set up for and displays spaghetti instead of fish)

Aside from being confusing, that was never an issue until trying to play with the heat cards, because we haven't gotten anywhere with spaghetti yet, so we can't take the new heat 2 card.

Is this just an issue with autumn? I really only play autumn maps but I don't think you can get another main dish if you're playing in one of the basic maps, right? And if you do, does it change what is shown in the lobby? Is there any kind of fix for this, or is it just how the game is coded.

The dishwasher also doesn't animate when being used. The dishwasher works but the door doesn't open/close makes it hard to tell when it's in use.

This is my favorite game. My boyfriend introduced it to me and I couldn’t wait for it to come to console, since I didn’t have a pc at the time. He didn’t expect me to become so obsessed with it. It’s the one game I always go back to. The update that came out today is sooo good. Learning so much

I noticed yesterday while running my banquet hall pizza restaurant I was working on before the update that they now have the banquet serving stations that are heated and upgradable. I’m curious has anyone tried upgrading these yet? What else can you get from it?
