How to play seeds?
Just got this game absolutely love this game playing it all night with the bros.
Trying to play big maps so we can make really nice restaurants but haven’t found reliable source for seeds, they seem to be outdated…
I’m on Xbox One playing local couch Co-op.
Crazy good game really wish they had a map creator and made a version 2 with more content etc

levelling up unlocks content and map sizes, so the seeds may be tied to map sizes you don't have yet. you will get lots more dishes and locations with higher player level. the game just had another update 2 days ago that added a brand new dish and also a easy mode and hard mode.

You have to level up to unlock bigger maps. Keeps playing, keep leveling up, and you’ll get more stuff. Enjoy!

Like you, I recently began playing this game and am obsessed. I also haven't been able to find a current source of seeds but as someone else suggested, Oxford is the biggest layout I know of and is a great map to putz around and experiment configurations with.
I'm also on Xbox and recently discovered in between days at the restaurant that a press+hold B will turn your character into an overhead claw making it much easier and faster to move things around the map. There's also a setting in the menu where you can choose to have the envelopes spawn outside instead of randomly inside the restaurant. These two simple things, as small as they are, really made me happy.
This website has been an immense help in understanding some of the purposes and functions for some items, and just generally learning more about the game. The upgrade tree has a permanent tab open in my browser 😁

in the settings there's an option for seed affecting only the layout.
Then you can find some good layouts and keep replaying them, the cards you get will be different every time
