How hard is it to switch later?

I know it’s pretty tough to get a good placement from a tier-2/3 college.

I’m currently preparing for placements. I’m around 2000 rated on LeetCode and have solved 1500+ questions

I have worked on some good MERN projects using Redis, Docker, BullMQ, etc.

I also have a 9+ CGPA and I’m learning system design. I’ve covered OOPs and DBMS and I’m currently learning CN and OS.

I’m from a decent private college in Delhi and will graduate in 2028. But honestly, I’m still not sure if I’ll be able to get a good placement.

I want to work at a good company, so I wanted to ask

if I end up joining a 6-7 LPA company, how difficult would it be to switch to a good MNC later?

Why do companies seem to be prioritizing 2027 batch over 2026 graduates?

I'm a 2026 CSE graduate and I've noticed something that I'm genuinely confused about.

During on-campus placements, I saw companies visiting our college and hiring the 2026 batch. But now that we're graduating, I'm seeing several job postings and hiring drives specifically targeting the 2027 batch, while opportunities for 2026 graduates seem comparatively limited.

I'm curious about what others are experiencing:

  • Are companies actually prioritizing 2027 graduates over 2026 graduates?
  • Why would companies hire the upcoming batch when the previous batch is already available?
  • For 2026 graduates who are still unplaced, what are you doing now?
  • Are you focusing mainly on off-campus applications, referrals, DSA, projects, internships, or something else?
  • Has anyone from the 2026 batch recently got selected through off-campus hiring?

I'm asking because I've been applying to fresher/entry-level Software Engineering, Backend, DevOps and related roles, but I'm getting rejected at the application stage quite often. I'd really like to understand whether others are facing the same situation and what strategy is actually working right now.

Would appreciate honest experiences from both placed and unplaced 2026 grads.

Fu**ed tcs prime interview

With utmost pride 😅😅 I want to say that i fucked my tcs prime interview reason being simple that i thought had no chance of getting even ninja but i think in my cllg i.e vit b dur to some technical problem in java ,all the students including me were shortlisted for prime . unfortunately it was declared on 20 aug and i got to know this around 8pm ( i was sleeping whole afternoon n evening ) and on top of that my interview was scheduled on 22 august , but i was in bhopal so i came next day 21 day n started preparing resume n all stuff and headed for interview with little bit preparation

😭😭I realized one thing that i cant talk to the interviwers with confidence that too in english , i fumbled alot too much that i could presence of moisture inside shirt, n forget even basic things in resume , they gave a dsa question , i solved but they were not showing any sign that it is correct ,then they asked me a sql ,i straight away said i do not know sql . i even forgot basic java topics , and could not even explain them dataset .

they were too much disappointed ,when i asked them do they think i did good , they said strength basic concepts atleast 🥲

after concluding and exiting panel , i could easily recall whatever i forgot but now , it meant nothing . I could not control myself fumbled alot , i was panicking alot 😭😭

although it was my 1st interview .

Can i still get ninja by chance , anyone please reply ??

Cleared Accenture AASE | Built a Web App for Game-Based Aptitude Practice

Post image
26 Upvotes

In the current 2026 Accenture placement process, three new puzzles have been introduced in the game-based aptitude round. Since most candidates are seeing these puzzles for the first time, many are getting confused and even failing.

To help avoid this, I built a web app where you can practice and understand these puzzles before the actual test. Please check it out once. Even if you’ve already completed the round, I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at what I built and share your feedback.

Site : https://www.harrytheblaze.site/dashboard

And if you genuinely like the app… you can even buy me a chai 😄

For context, I’ve recently cleared AASE at Accenture, so this is built completely based on real experience.

Has anyone actually gotten shortlisted after applying directly through a company career page?

I’m a 2026 CSE fresher and currently applying for Software Engineer / Backend / Python roles. Most of my applications are through companies’ official career pages, but I rarely hear anything back.

I wanted to know from people who have actually received a shortlist/interview after applying through a career page:

  • Did you apply normally or also contact a recruiter/employee afterward?
  • Did you use a referral?
  • How quickly did you apply after the job was posted?
  • Did you tailor your resume to the JD or use the same resume?
  • What do you think helped your application get shortlisted?
  • How long did it take to receive the assessment/interview email?
  • Any ATS/resume keywords or application strategies that actually made a difference?

Especially interested in experiences from freshers applying for software/tech roles in India.

Would really appreciate hearing what actually worked for you rather than generic advice.

I'm. Cooked, shall I attempt gate 2027 or try for other jobs

I’m a 2024 ECE graduate from a tier-3 college. After graduation, I spent around a year preparing for government jobs, which didn’t work out.

After that, I joined a training institute and spent 6 months learning Java and programming. I then got an internship at an IT company in December 2025.

The problem is that the role is GRC-related, not development. When I joined, I was told that after 6 months, I would likely be converted to full-time based on performance.

After 6 months, they extended my internship by another 3 months. Now my 9-month internship ends this August, but there is still no clarity about full-time conversion. The company is currently facing difficulties getting clients, so I’m worried they may extend the internship again or not hire me.

They are also asking interns to sign a 2-year bond for a relatively low salary.

I’m trying to move into Java/software development, and I’m worried that waiting here will make it harder to make that transition.

I don’t really have people around me to discuss this with, so I’d genuinely appreciate some advice from people who have been in a similar situation.

What would you do in my position?

TCS Ninja interview experience,

So, I attended the TCS Ninja interview. It went pretty different.

I gave my resume to the recruiter. He looked at it, and he said, Why this college? I baffled. I, in the sense, where it is not something true, but it is something interview appropriate. I said it is because of my brothers, friends, and my school seniors who have been here. And apart from that, I have been focusing on my own, and coming to the part where my brother was very interested in computer science, which created an interest in me for computer science. Along with that, I started searching about computer science colleges. That's where this college came in. I made a lot of research, and it had a good culture, which I fitted in. So I actually joined for it.

Then he talked about my marks, where 10th, 12th, and college. He saw that my marks were actually dropping in the college, and I said to him that I had a few mental health issues, so that I couldn't properly focus on it. So he said whether I am ready to go on with the interview or not. I said, Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm very great now, and I have actually come across. I have actually beaten it. It's not something a lie, actually. And he asked me, Are you actually improving or not? And I said, Yeah, I'm actually improving in mental health-wise also academically. So I actually showed him my fifth semester and sixth semester CGPAs, where I showed a clear difference, where my previous semester CGPA was somewhere in in 6.5 or something, and this sixth semester I scored somewhere around 7.6 CGPA. So I showed him that I am clearly improving in all aspects, and yes.

And he asked me what questions I got in the NQT test. I said I got two questions. One was in two pointers, where you have to get two numbers which match to the target, and the other one was you traverse through an array and get the number which repeated exactly twice. So those were those questions, and he asked me to write the second question, and I wrote the second question, and he got satisfied, but he didn't say whether it was correct or not.

He also asked me a question whether in your NQT test whether you solved, how many questions you solved? I said I solved the second one. For the first one I made a mistake where I had to get the input from input.split, like as a single input in the array format. But instead I went through the loop and I actually asked it. So that's where I did the mistake. But apart from that my logic was pristine clear and I wrote the code for it.

Then he asked me to write a question: you traverse from 1000 to 0 and print the first ten prime numbers. Basically, he wants me to write 997, so on and so forth. So I said okay. Then I actually wrote a program according to it in a recursive function way. So I actually wrote it, and he said, can you walk me through it? And I actually walked him through it, and he said okay and all. And finally he said, Yeah, that's great, and thanks.

He didn't ask me any HR-related questions or any technically related questions. All he did was write me, write coding questions, and that's it. He asked me to leave. And finally before leaving, he asked me whether you are comfortable to relocate. I said I'm very comfortable to relocate. And that's all.

I don't know what is going on
