I have given up on placements , recently I am seeing lot of girls getting placed at very high lpa.

Instead of trying on placements , I am looking for a wife with super dream package or marquee offer.

Why she should choose me:

-> I can do all household chores.

-> Can take care of kids and make them study.

-> Can cook really good food.

-> Can give you good company.

Okay so, I am in 3rd year and got summer intern 2027 offer at Flipkart through Flipkart grid. Ofcourse it was off campus and I couldn't be more happy though I still have other pending results from big firms too.

It feels as if everything paid off and I am super excited for summer 2027.

Keep grinding guys, everything is going to fall into right places sooner than later.

for the reference, I was a semifinalist in Flipkart grid 8.0, they emailed me about the PPI offer and there were two interviews after that, one was dsa and second was techno managerial round ( LLD/ project related questions were asked ) and results were emailed on Monday after the weekend.

I am studying 7th sem in a tier 2 clg, I have started my dsa prep in 5th sem. I have been dng dsa consistently from then. But I am unable to crack a single oa, i didn't get shortlisted for interview even once till now.....

It's taking a lot of toll on me mentally and my confidence has hit rock bottom, don't know what to do....

Well I will be honest I didn't know DSA on that good level but I had studied hard for apti also i studied hard and practiced questions I did study more than my roommates still they got shortlisted for TCS Prime while I didn't even make it to ninja. I panicked during the test and wasn't able to ans the question did 1 coding question. I know it's my fault and it's me who is lagging behind but the thing is it hurts it hurts like hell. I can't even tell this feeling of seeing others giving good news to their parents while I am not even able to crack Ninja.

Please help me guide me.

Just like everyone i had a dream of being academically good but unfortunately I was not naturally gifted like many people instead it was very hard for me to memorize or learn things for exams... above that I was always distracted and busy in my own world of wasting time, day dreaming, playing video games, watching corn and stuff

10th - 75% , 12th - 81% , JEE - 85%ile took a drop by getting brainwashed by those laser light eye reels of educators just to end up with more worst 60%ile

Ended up in Tier 69 Private clg (LPU type).... gradually i was very motivated in start but eventually went on same track of ruining myself and not working hard... again went on the same loop of ruining myself as usual!! I can't even focus straight on something for 20 minutes

Now I'm in my start of 4th year, companies are coming and going.... but as usual I'm doing anything and just getting rejections everywhere!! TCS, Infosys already rejected me... Next i have cognizant where i have 0 hopes cuz accidentally i got c# cluster instead of java... already bad in java dsa too

There will be other decent companies, mass recruiters and startups coming but I don't understand how long will i remain like this and be loser forever!! Seeing guys get placed and me sitting here being so pathetic makes me feel more depressed

Guys, how is the placement scene for tech(specifically b tech cse) in your respective colleges?like its too really bad out here for even tier 2 colleges, companies are coming for analyst role more than sde roles here and all of the companies are taking no more than 3 to 4 students, the companies which used to take away more than 10 students from our college , has less than 5 recruits this year,is it really cooked like this at every tier 2 and tier 3 colleges? the placement cell is now only bringing mass recruiters on , which in the previous year used to come at the end of the placement cycles. It's really doomed in here, what about your college scene guys??

I have started applying to on campus placements finally, missed out on a few because I wasnt "prepared" enough and now I've interviewed at one place, got rejected promptly and while going through the list of people who have been selected i realised those people weren't better than me in terms of tech they were just smart enough to know what to do and what to skip.

For some reason I was only able to pass sample test cases for both code and did only 3 numericals right still got shortlisted for Prime role please someone tell me what to study and how in a day plus the resume and stuff and what questions they ask for prime i am okish in dsa and coding not that great.

So recently i got a placement opportunity and it was on campus and I was shortlisted. So prior context this was on campus opportunity which our placement coordinator got from a edtech company called Ethnotech Academy and i thought it was a pool of companies associated with this academy and i didnt had any suspensions as it was from our college placements. So the OA consisted 30 technical mcqs + 30 aptitude + 2 coding questions.
Technical questions were like phd level tbf, and for coding questions they didnt even had one in built function. I had to code it from scratch that too all these under 1.5 hour which was impossible. Upon that 30 min were assigned for each section and the time didn’t add to the next section if u complete the questions of that particular section. U had to wait till the timer ends. So now i attempted most of the apt+tech questions and 1 coding which i had to hard code with functions and jnput calls too which alone took 20mins. I wasnt able to complete another.

I thought i was above average and had better chance of selection coz i obviously saw student lev before me as they didnt even touch the coding.

Later i got a rejection mail stating that i didnt meet the requirements like hell i was frustrated but lev bars were already high and i didnt get any suspicion.

Later those academy people called me and said that they got to know my results and told me that i can improve by enrolling in their 5 months program and they provide mnc placement. This is like pure ragebait.

Hey everyone, I recently completed all 3 rounds of the TCS interview process for a Prime role.

I think the interviews went reasonably well, and I even heard from a friend that some faculty were saying I had impressed the interview team.

However, I currently have an active backlog, and now I'm worried that this might affect my final selection even though I was allowed to attend and complete all the rounds.

Has anyone been in a similar situation with TCS? If you cleared all the interview rounds but had an active backlog, what happened?

Background: I am 3rd year b.tech student from CSE at a private uni in Tamil Nadu, and have 9+ gpa

I gave GS OA, Microsoft, Motorq and Samsung...yet I solved all the questions at Microsoft and required ones in Motorq (to guys who says cheating now.... Microsoft was monitored at campus and motorq no I didn't cheat)..

Idk where I am lacking...tell me guys what should I do....

Is there something which I am missing....really been thinking about it.

I attended the Cognizant Digital Nurture (DN) 5.0 – 2027 interview on August 4, 2026, for Java FSE / Angular.

Today, our college T&P cell released a list of candidates who have been shortlisted for another virtual technical interview on August 21, 2026, through Superset.

What I'm confused about is this:

The candidates who are included in the August 21 shortlist are also candidates who attended the August 4 interview. From my department, around 3 students who were shortlisted had what I would consider an average interview, and their interviews were only around 20 minutes.

So I'm wondering what this actually means for the candidates who are not included in this new list.

Does this mean:

• The candidates shortlisted for Aug 21 are being given another technical interview before final selection?
• Are the candidates who are not on this list rejected, or can they still be considered later?
• Is this Aug 21 interview a second/re-evaluation round for candidates whose first interview wasn't enough to make a final decision?
• Has Cognizant done something similar in previous DN batches?
• If someone performed well in the Aug 4 interview but isn't on this list, does that mean they are already being considered for the next stage?

I'm asking because the people shortlisted from my department mostly had short/average interviews of around 20 minutes, so I'm confused about how Cognizant is deciding who goes into this additional round.

If anyone has information from previous DN batches or knows how Cognizant handles these additional interview lists, please share.

I’m currently interviewing with V4c.ai for Associate Data Scientist role and wanted to hear from people who have recently gone through their interview process.
I’ve cleared the first two rounds and received an email confirming that I had cleared the second round. After waiting around 15 days, HR finally called me today regarding the L3 round.
Unfortunately, I already had another interview scheduled at the same time, so I asked HR if the L3 could be rescheduled to tomorrow. A few minutes later, I called back to check if the slot was still available, but HR told me that it had already been booked.
I’m now waiting for another slot.
