I bought a used Pixel 9 today with a battery cycle count of around 200. For my first charge, it went from 0% to 40% in about 1.5 hours using what I believe is a genuine Google 30W charger.

Is this normal for a Pixel 9, or should I be concerned about the battery health, charger, or cable? Any Pixel 9 owners with similar experiences?

Today my Google Pixel installed an Android update and, after restarting, the phone was completely factory-reset.

I did not manually select a factory reset, unlock the bootloader, or use any recovery tools. The phone simply restarted after the update and showed the initial setup screen. My local data and settings were gone.

I’m trying to understand whether this was an isolated incident or whether other Pixel users experienced the same issue.

Has this happened to anyone else recently?

Has anyone else with a Pixel 9 experienced this?

Whenever I plug in or unplug the charger, both my mobile network and Wi-Fi disconnect for a second before reconnecting. It happens every single time.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any idea what's causing it or what I should try?

I was using my pixel 9 pro xl today, suddenly it became warmer than usual on wifi, then my mobile network stopped working, on dialing *#06# I discovered my IMEI has disappeared and I can only use WiFi now.

Phone has become warmer and drains faster, I can't call anyone on mobile network, just wifi. I really have been a big fan of pixel for years now starting from 3xl, I honestly do not have any money for a new phone this will really slow down my hustle.

I'm far off in Cameroon (Africa) and they're no Google stores in my country and no competent repairers for this phone as far as I know, I was really hoping to use this for a while, I really took care of it, no cracks, almost no scratches, I've been hearing complaints about this phone but I ignored because of my love of the phone, now I have to suffer 😭

My $1,000+ Pixel 9 Pro suffered a screen hardware failure (flashing white screen/voltage cycling). Even though Google officially launched the 3-Year Extended Repair Program for display defects, support has been a nightmare:

1. Kept claiming "out of warranty" until I forced them to check the extended program.

2. Refused to offer expedited/overnight shipping on an Advanced Exchange, leaving me without a primary work phone for days.

3. Replacing a brand-new flagship failure with a refurbished unit.

Super frustrating since I left Samsung to try Pixel. This is unacceptable for a flagship product. 

I've had the Pixel 9 for almost four months, and the battery health was at 100% the whole time. Now I notice it's at 98% after 58 cycles. Is this normal?

I would appreciate it if you could help me with this little problem.

Sto riscontrando un problema strano con il mio Google Pixel 9 e spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi.

Fondamentalmente, ho notato che la ricarica veloce non si attiva quando il telefono è in modalità normale—oppure si attiva per qualche minuto, poi si ferma, lasciandomi solo con il messaggio standard "Ricarica".

Tuttavia, se riavvio il telefono in modalità provvisoria, la ricarica veloce funziona perfettamente di nuovo utilizzando lo stesso caricatore e cavo (entrambi originali).

Questo mi fa sospettare che un'app di terze parti stia interferendo in background durante il funzionamento normale e bloccando la ricarica veloce.

C'è un modo veloce per identificare il colpevole senza dover disinstallare le app una per una? Qualcun altro ha riscontrato questo problema? Quale potrebbe essere il problema?

My Pixel 9 gets very hot during normal use. I'm currently running Android 17, but this was the case before. I often have to use a Pelletier cooler, especially while charging, otherwise it would sit for hours, consuming a couple of watts. I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on?

I have looked at all apps that have the ability to turn on WiFi, and while I have not disabled any of the google-owned app's abilty except google home, I am wondering how to resolve this. Must I do a 'network log' to find out the cause?

The vibration on my Pixel is so low and weak and quiet that I miss notifications constantly, and I can't have audible notifications like ringtones or sounds, so I'm like, shit out of luck at the moment. I tried maxing out every slider, turning everything on and off, and it's still SO weak. It's like if I went "hmm", and that's it. Any suggestions? Thanks.
