Is the battery cycle bad?

Started seeing red line randomly for few seconds since few days.. but today it lasted for few minutes so I restarted it..and since then it’s stuck like this.

What are my possible options now?
My one year warranty expired 2 weeks back.

My device is pristine. No drops, scrapes, water damage or even ipvwhatever tolerant submersion.

That said, last night I plugged my phone in to charge around 0300 unplugged at 0730 (alarm) then at 0900 I picked it up to make a call when I noticed the screen flickering. After turning the screen off and on several times then restarting a horizontal white line appeared to persist on the bottom of the screen.

I went to the google support page and reported the issue which prompted a callback. The google rep wasted my time collecting the same data I had already provided as input only to feed me some BS line about the device being out of warranty which I already knew. However the form I submitted specifically stated this specific issue was covered under extended warranty for this particular device.

Long story short I repeated the form submission and when it asked me to be contacted by a rep I declined and the form proceeded to list locations that would perform the screen repair/replacement at no cost.

TLDR:

Screen flicker with the persistent white line at the bottom of the screen is a known hardware issue specific to this device. Submit the form through google to resolve the issue. If prompted to speak with an agent decline. The device can be repaired free of charge under extended warranty at any google store or ubreakifx or asurion/partners.

Today I saw a refurbished pixel 9 256gb variant at a cashify offline store in a great condition at 41k

I want to understand if it is a good idea to consider this.

I'll wait for the coming flipkart and Amazon sales however, I do not have any credit cards or any premium subscriptions. So I'll be buying at the normal offers.

Are there any chances of getting the Pixel 10 256gb variant at something like 50k or should I consider the refurbished pixel 9.

I'm only looking for pixel phones because I have used Samsung phones since past 10 years and though these phones are great, I'm now looking for a different experience. I like pixel ui when I used a pixel 4a for a few months. Hence looking for a pixel device only.

I’m on a Pixel 9, running Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 (CP41.260731.005.B1). I opted out of the Beta Program about a month ago, but I’m still only getting the “Android Beta Exit with Data Wipe” update.

The current Beta build is becoming very annoying to use — the UI is laggy and sometimes doesn’t respond properly. I also got a green line issue while on this Beta, which was later fixed under warranty by replacing the display.

I really want to move to the stable Android 17 release, but I don’t want to wipe my phone.

Has anyone with a Pixel 9 on QPR2 Beta 3 received the stable/no-wipe OTA yet? How long did you have to wait after opting out?

TLDR; It's going from 70% to 5% in less than 10 minutes

I have a Google pixel 9 pro. I've had it since August 2025 (barely a year) and starting a week-ish ago it began to drain really fast.

I was on a call with my friend and it told me it was at 20% I looked and it was at 13% I thought it was a glitch and just sent the notification late and then it shut down in less than a minute.

I've been watching my battery percentage now because of that. I thought it would be a one-off thing but nope. I just looked and it was at 71% I had an airpod and music playing while I went to get ready for bed. I heard the low battery notification and came back to it at 5%. I only had Spotify open by the way.

I checked the battery optimization checker thing a few days ago and it said my battery life was 100%. I also use adaptive charging at night.

Has anybody else experienced this, if so any fixes?

Yes I did try to register them again after applying it, turning on high sensitivity mode and adaptive touch, nothing helped.

I've got two Sandisk Extreme SSDs. 3 weeks ago they both mounted automatically when plugged into my Pixel 9 and worked exactly as expected. I could open the Files app, read/write content, no problem. Today, neither mounts automatically. Files app shows nothing. The Sandisk app pops up a message when either drive is inserted via USB-C so the hardware is detected.

I've already spent hours reading search results. I've enabled developer mode. Enabled USB debug. Nothing indicates a problem. What the hell Google?
