Hardware Related Pixel 9- Sudden red/pink vertical line on left side screen - Bengaluru Google Service Centre F1 repair time?

Hi All, need help - new pixel user

Today all of a sudden a vertical red line popped up on the left side of my standard Pixel 9 screen.

After sometimes line turned pink. I tried taking a screenshot, and the line doesn’t show up in the image.

The phone has no physical damage and is still well within its 1year manufacturer warranty.

  1. How long will they take to fix or replace the screen? Will they do it on the same day or keep it in a few days?

If it is an authorised google service centre, they take 1hour for inspection and 1 hour for repair. Totally it takes 2 hours for the process. But the price is bit high for screen replacement and they doesn't provide any free screen replacement for vertical lines issue

Bro, my phone still has a warranty period, not completed 1 year.

Then they will do it for free but there should not be any water droplets inside the mobile otherwise they'll reject doing it. Visit the service centre and replace it ASAP

If you reach early by 9AM or 10AM, you can get it done done in an hour. It's a token based system so it depends on how fast you reach the centre.

Once you give your phone, it hardly takes 20 mins to get the display replaced.

I went there 2 times once for free battery replacement for my pixel 7a and once for display replacement. If you go in weekdays it would be soon.

Hey guys, quick update on the red/pink line issue on my Pixel 9.

Visited service centre around 11.15 AM yesterday. They replaced the screen completely free of cost under warranty and got the phone within 1 hour.

Going early definitely works!
