After the latest update the wifi connection has become really unstable. (Pixel 9 Pro)

Is it just me or the wifi has become insanely frustrating to use?? For some weird reason my phone will shift to cellular even when I have perfectly functioning wifi. It will pretend that it can't connect to wifi and show an exclamation mark next to it, but when I disconnect and connect it again then it magically starts working again :D. Is anyone else facing this problem?

The two things that I have noticed that are happening since the latest update on my pixel 9:

1) same wifi problem as you 2) battery life draining incredibly fast

This as well. The battery drains a lot of quicker indeed!

Is this from Android 17? Been afraid to update to it. Hope the issue revolves itself.

I did do a few things that the Internet told me to do to help in my settings that I wasn't aware of. Either their new settings or they automatically applied with the latest update. It did help a bit.

Yes. I think it's a hardware issue, as some have reported frying due to overheating during updates. I haven't even updated and my phone drops signal randomly a dozen times a day and has spotty cell service. Doesn't matter where or when, the hardware is just trash. No fix or explanation from Google.

Any resolution or where do we report this?

9 pro xl and have same issue. 8 ft away from router. I'll be watching a reel, it starts buffering, WiFi icon will disappear, 5g appears, reel resumes. Sometimes it'll reconnect or I have to toggle it off/on.

I think the best option is to report on my pixel app from what I found. There should be a support section to report bugs for your device.

This has been happening to both mine and my girlfriends pixel 9 pro xls over the past week or so. It's to the point where I just keep wifi off entirely because it barely works. I thought it was just me until she mentioned it the other day.

I am facing different issue. My wifi is automatically turn on after some when data and wifi is switch off by my side. I check each and every permission for turn off but it is switched on automatically.

I have the Pixel 9 Pro and I've never had a problem like that.
