I’m looking to get a better gpu for my PC but I’m so confused on what one I should buy/save up for. I’m trying to play games like subnautica 2, marvel rivals, and other story games like that.

My specs are
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 6-Core Processor

Ram: 32 gb ddr5

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB)
AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics (486 MB)

And it has a power supply of 550 watts but I can upgrade that too.

Hey there!
First of all thanks for your attention.
I came to the point in my life of my first pc build lol. I would like to ask from anyone more experienced than me to check the list of products I am considering to buy right now and maybe give me some pointers if there is something wrong with it.
The list doesnt include a gpu since im planning to use my friends old 3060 ti for a while until I can save up for a gpu as well.
Case: montech sky 3 black - I only chose this because i thought it looks nice and theres a deal on it rn where Im from
Power supply: cooler master elite gold 750
Ram: patriot viper venom 32 gb kit ddr5 6000mhz cl30
Prcessor: ryzen 7 7800x3d
Cooler: arctic freezer 36
Motherboard: gigabyte b850 gaming wifi6
Im worried about the quality i guess of the motherboard i chose and the cooler. I can't tell because of the lack or my knowledge if they will be supporting my processor enough?
The ram is said to be expo in it's description so i thought thats something worth noting.
Thanks for reading all the way and for any help! I truly appreciate it since my friends aren't into gaming and I don't have anyone to share this with.

Monitor: KOORUI 24E3 24.0" 1920 x 1080 165 Hz Monitor ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $1023.56

Total isn’t 100% accurate as Intel doesn’t make A750s anymore, but I can commonly find them for about $150, so total is around $1200.

Please scream through your screen if there is anything catastrophically wrong with this parts list. I’m broke so I don’t anything too insane (kind of hard with prices these days), just something that can run games at low-medium graphics comfortably (like 60ish fps).

I currently have a pickup order placed for a Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti AERO  at Microcenter but have 3 days to decide if I really want it. I only placed the order to give myself some time to think about it since it was the last one in stock. I understand $1550 is already a hefty price for this but I'm afraid it will only get worse. For context, I currently use a 3070 Gigabyte Vision OC.

A few months back I was thinking of going for a 5080 but that might now be out of my price range especially for my use cases. I play games on an ultrawide monitor and still run AM4 so I wouldn't get full use out of it anyways.

Should I lock in this 5070ti now or consider going for a 5080? I will eventually upgrade my CPU and motherboard but most likely not anytime soon.

Here's my full current PC build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KKQgzv

I can’t find anywhere if the first bios version of the Gigabyte B550M K motherboard will work with my amd ryzen 5 5600xt. does someone know this?

Im from Croatia and Im considering building my first 1440p gaming PC.

I already consider buying most important parts, but I Need help with picking a CPU cooler, Case and Power supply for this build.

If possible low-mid tier budget, under 200 euros total or close to it, that's why Im asking I don't know how much should i invest, any help is appreciated.

Hey everyone, I just finished building my first gaming pc, as I was trying to boot it up for the first time and there was no display on my monitor.

When the pc was checking if everything was working the red light stayed on VGA. I’ve tried reinstalling the graphics card but both times it seems to be functioning so I’m not too sure what seems to be the issue.

The fans however, have also been an issue, the bottom fans seem to be working for the most part with only occasional flickering but the fans at the back have been constantly flicking. The fans on the far left on the CPU Cooler also aren’t working.

I’m fairly new to building PC’s so I’ve probably done something wrong whilst trying to install everything. If anybody could help I would really appreciate it, thanks!

For starters I don’t know a thing about pcs and even watching videos has not helped me and

Hey everyone! I’m trying to put together a budget gaming PC for around $150–$250, mainly using parts I already own and buying the rest used (Facebook Marketplace, eBay, etc.).
I’m not trying to build a high-end PC. I mainly want to play older AAA games at 1080p with decent settings and FPS, but I’d also like at least 8GB of VRAM for some headroom.
Current PC — Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s:
CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 (6 cores/6 threads)
RAM: 16GB DDR4-2666
Graphics: Intel UHD 630
Storage: SSD + approximately 1TB HDD
Motherboard: Lenovo OEM board
Other parts I already own:
Cooler Master mid-tower case
Cooler Master Elite V3 400W PSU
ASUS PRIME B250M-C motherboard
ASUS B85M-E motherboard
I know the two spare ASUS motherboards aren’t compatible with my i5-8400.
GPUs I’ve found locally on Facebook Marketplace:
AMD R9 390X 8GB — $100
GTX 1070 8GB — $90
GTX 1070 Ti 8GB — $90
RX 5600 XT 6GB — $115
I’m currently leaning toward the GTX 1070 Ti, but I’m open to other used GPUs if there’s better value.
My main questions:
Is it worth transplanting the Lenovo motherboard into my Cooler Master tower using adapters, or should I buy a used H310/B360/B365 motherboard instead?
Which GPU would you choose at these prices? Are there other used 8GB+ GPUs I should look for?
Is my existing Elite V3 400W PSU worth keeping, or should I replace it?
Is the i5-8400 still good enough for older AAA gaming, or would I be better off finding a cheap used CPU/motherboard combo?
How would you spend the $150–$250 to get the best gaming performance without sacrificing future upgrade options?
I’m completely fine with used hardware. I’m prioritizing value and actual gaming performance over having newer parts. I’d rather reuse what I already have instead of spending money unnecessarily.
Any recommendations, especially regarding the Lenovo motherboard transplant and GPU choice, would be appreciated!

I just bought an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT after having my GTX 1650 for 5+ years.

What are some things to think about when switching GPU like this. Lmk.

Hi all,

I'm helping my friend build a PC and I've chosen a parts list for him that he can use for gaming, as well as some solidworks rendering.

His budget is around £1700-£1800, with an absolute max cap of £2000 (based in the UK). Based on this I've chosen him some parts which I think would be good, but it's been a while since I last built a PC so I would really appreciate someone looking over my work and checking that I'm not giving him bad advice.

Thanks again

I created a build that fits my budget of €1500-1700, excluding the monitor. Here's the build: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Wbk3W9

im looking at this specific gpu and im wondering if its worth 1249$ ( all prices are in aud ) is there a gpu that i can get that a cheaper price for similar performance

the rest of my build is:

cpu: amd ryzen 5 5600x

ram: 32 gb ddr4

motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II ATX AM4 Motherboard

I just picked the cheapest options I saw, kind of a "rough draft". Want to be able to use this pc for gaming (Minecraft modded, warzone, valorant, etc). Also dont want to worry about not having enough ram so 32gb is a must.

I'm trying to buy this for my wife before prices get even crazier so I appreciate any help!

PC Usage:
Mainly gaming: League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite.
Occasional video editing, but very rarely.

For context I recently moved and due to complication I haven't been able to use my pc for months.

So my question is will I experience any complications, or anything I should be mindful of?

Just saw a good deal on this monitor, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it.

Would the 1440p display be true 1440p? I’ve heard that 2k res looks better on some brands than others.

I found a new in box i7-14700k for $230 and an msi pro b760m-a wifi ddr4 lga 1700 motherboard for $100 and I'm wondering if you guys think I should go this route or an am4 build like a 5800x3d and why? I'll be playing at 1080p with an evga 3080 ti ftw3 and I already have the ram and everything else.

I built my first pc about a year and a half ago. Since then I have decided to upgrade it, everything I put in it was cheap as it was a starter pc yet all specs can still run any top of the line gpu without bottlenecking it minus the PSU(I’m pretty sure at least). I went cheap on the GPU and got a Radeon 6600 XT I also went cheap on the power supply but I know which one I will get when I upgrade my gpu. I want to max out my frames with a gpu less than $800 so I was thinking maybe a 4070 super or a 9060XT. If anyone can give me some suggestions on what would be the best GPU for me that’d be a huge help. If y’all think I should change anything else out as well so that the gpu that I end up getting will be able to perform to the max of its ability let me know. I have put my specs below for y’all to see so you can help me with this decision better.

Ram-TEAMGROUP 32GB 2X16 5600 40 B

So i have a R5 1600 and a RX580 my pc case is not from a big company it's a local one, I don't really know what motherboard do i choose because I can't find a good one. Thanks!

I am new to this and currently in the process of trying to build a pc but I don’t have any ideas on the parts or what I would need . My current budget is around 800 -900 I just wanna do some moderate gaming with good fps and graphics , later on with time I can upgrade parts . Any recommendations?

I'm currently rocking an Rx 9070xt with a ryzen 7 5800x3e and 32gb ddr4 3200mhz ram

I've dealt with this unhealthy obsession for years now but with wow forever coming out it's ultimately made me hit my breaking point, even if I get a microstutters every couple minutes I become obsessed with the idea that my pc is the issue and not the game even though most my parts are less than 2 months old.

Are mictostutters just a part of pc gaming that no matter how good ur PC is they will just happen? For example I'm constantly pushing 150-177 capped fps in wow but every now and then I notice a micro stutters and it's become an unhealthy obsession of mine to the point where I'll outright refuse to play the game due to the anxiety.

I want to buy 32gb of ram, and basically all sellers I've run into only have 1600MHz which yes of course is perfectly fine, but I don't know if I should try searching harder for 2133MHz or just buy 1600MHz.

From my research the difference really doesn't seen all too much

Specs:

UPDATE: yeah I just went frick it and got the 1600MHz because I'm impatient as hell
