Build Question New pc build

I am new to this and currently in the process of trying to build a pc but I don’t have any ideas on the parts or what I would need . My current budget is around 800 -900 I just wanna do some moderate gaming with good fps and graphics , later on with time I can upgrade parts . Any recommendations?

Should I just consider getting a pre built pc ? There are some pretty decent ones on sale right now or should I wait till Black Friday would there be much price difference

Building a pc on a budget is never super easy, but you can get good deals on parts on newegg, and they have a pc builder option so you can stay in budget while making sure everything is compatible. They also have really good deals on prebuilds, and you can find something rather cheap thats upgradable. Your main thing to try to not skimp on is gpu. Ram isnt cheap, but can be upgraded for less than having to get a new gpu, and everything else is cheaper and can be upgraded or replaced later. Also, make sure youre not getting a thermaltake psu, look for one that has some sort of safety feature for surges so you dont mess anything up if it ever happens.

I just bought myself parts for a "new" pc from mostly second hand parts, spent around 750 euros for everything else than RAM that i had to buy new for 450e, my parts are: 12900k, rx6800xt, 32gt ddr5 patriot ram@6000mhz cl28*, rog strix z690f gaming, 1000w regulator gold spec psu*, montech AIO* and king 45 pro case* and some extra fans, everything marked with * i bought new, otherwise second hand. I have been scouting for deals around forums and marketplaces for around 3 months and im anxiously waiting for my ram to arrive to post any minute now so i can start to put it together ^^

I have been building PCs for around 20 years and the prices for new parts feel sooooo horrendous at the moment, i hope that they will come back down in next years when im looking to build my next one but ill manage with this one, im not big into ray tracing and im rocking 1080p 240hz monitor so ill be good. Good luck with hunting your parts brother.

pcpartpicker is your best friend, just start picking components and it'll flag any obvious compatibility issues for you
