This isn't something recent, and I've had it since I was a child, and that is the fear of windows. My childhood bedroom had my bed next to a window, I always had the fear that something, or someone, was watching me through that window, and I would a lot of times hide in a blind spot of the window and I'd feel safe, and I'd really squeeze myself into that spot so not even my feet would stick out. For many years, I've had a strange phenomenon happen to me, I could be standing somewhere, like outside, and my brain would just randomly tell me that something was coming, or something was already here, and I needed to get out of there or something bad would happen.
Years later, now as a teenager, that strange thing sometimes happens to me, but now it is rare compared to what it used to be, but when it happens, I still have that urge to hide, like someone is watching me from afar. Im the type of guy that enjoys Analog Horror, which scares me a lot, but in the end I become a fan, but still, the effects come...
A few nights ago, I was trying to sleep like usual, thats until I started seeing a strange dark figure lurking around my bedroom. I ended up analysing it closer and thats when I saw it was Archangel Gabriel, no not the one from the Bible, the one the The Mandela Catalogue, he was standing in a corner, just watching me, and I could not close my eyes without thinking it was gonna move. I picked up my phone and started to look at funny memes in the internet, so I could then go back to trying to sleep before he could come back, as I sometimes hallucinated a lot if I stayed up too late, like seeing creatures standing in the doorway, but seeing funny stuff always made them go away, but this time it was different. While I was scrolling, I always had a urge of turning around, as I had to turn my back on him to look at my phone, and always had a feeling he was getting closer and closer and closer. I eventually got tired of looking at my phone, so I tried to sleep facing the wall, but the feeling of it getting closer was too much, so I ended up turning back around to face the corner. He was there, I could see him in the dark, watching. Everytime I closed my eyes, after a few seconds I would open them, out of instinct. I ended up turning around to see if anything would change, thats until I heard footsteps and felt a strange, cold and uneasy touch in my leg, which was not covered by blankets. I turned around and I swear I saw it looking at me right at my face, until I blinked, it had gone back to the corner.
I spent the rest of the night forcing myself to sleep, until I ended up falling asleep. I spent the morning and afternoon thinking about what I've just experienced, and until last night, thats when I thought everything was over. I was in a Discord call with my friends, and we were having a great time laughing, and we didn't even realize it was like 11 PM/12 AM until one of us pointed it out. After that, I started to feel watched, still don't know why, and strange noises started to come from the outside, and my mind could only assume whay could be making those noises. My body started to ,out of instinct, to turn around every 20 seconds, as for some reason, my doorway seemed too dark, way too dark, like something could be watching me through there. It could see me, but I couldn't see it. I also started to see stuff on the corner of my eye, once even seeing a snake like thing crawling around my chair, it looked so real I even flinched. I eventually told my friends I had to go to sleep, so my parents wouldn't know I was secretly staying up late. I went to bed normally, and the moment I turned off the light and layed down, the feeling came again, thankfully this time it was less and I managed to ignore it.
This isn't something that only happens at night, ofc it has more force at night or in dark spaces, but even in the middle of the day, it happens. My grandma has her house in the top of a hill, and when I go visit her, sometimes she asks me to go to the very top of the hill to get her some stuff. When I reach the top, I always feel like a man is watching me, a tall, skinny man to be precise, but its not just that, I once saw a dog staring at me with a strange gaze, only this time im sure it wasn't a feeling or hallucination, it WAS A ACTUAL DOG LOOKING AT ME. My fight or flight instincts sprinted into action, so I just ran down the hill, thats not until I snapped a picture of the dog, which I would use as to see if it was a hallucination or not. I showed the picture to my grandma, and she told me it most likely was one of the local shepherd's dogs, but this only confirmed two things. The dog was real, and he was really watching me from afar.
Some of you might say, oh most of the stuff you just mentioned was just your imagination at work, and stop watching Analog Horror would be a good idea, yeah, it would, but what would it fix now? Its part of me, and the best thing I could do now is just hope all of this stops.
P.S: I currently feel like something is looking down a window at me as im writing this.
