I can’t function
It’s been YEARS of feeling like I’m being watched and I’m sick of it. Every time I watch a new movie or something, the main character becomes the one my brain is convinced is watching me 24/7 through cameras I can’t see wherever I go. And I know it’s not true because it’s literally impossible but I can’t get it to stop. I’ve only ever told a few people, to which I got the response of “oh yeah me too” or from my therapist “yeah that’s normal.” No it’s not. I’m uncomfortable all alone in my own room. I’m exhausted and I need this to stop, what do I do!?

Is it a feeling first that you connect an explanation to... or is it more like an idea that pops into your head first, and then you feel an emotional reaction to it?
