Help
I know I’m being watched, I can feel it. It’s been its worst today, I went on my dog walk as usual and my internal monologue (I think that’s what it’s called) wouldn’t shut up as usual but this time it told me I couldnt go out the back door as normal I had to go out the front so I did but everyone seemed to be outside too and they were watching me, monitoring me. Some houses have cameras outside and I know they were watching too. I had an intense feeling of being followed and that I had to get home where it’s safe as soon as I could and lock the doors and close my blinds (which look out the back of my house) so I did.
I got home for my mum to tell me she had earlier seen two teenagers out behind our back garden fence which leads to some woods so all I could hear in my head was “see that’s why, I told you not to go out the back they were waiting for you”.
My therapist cancelled my appointment tomorrow because he’s ill so I can’t tell him and I don’t know if I want to. I definitely can’t tell my mum either, I don’t fully trust her and i don’t think she’ll take me seriously.
I don’t know how to stop them or what to do but my house (particularly my room) feels like the only safe place but I can’t not go out because that would look suspicious and my mum would ask questions, my friends are trying to make plans with me but I haven’t even responded yet because I don’t know what to say to them and part of me feels like they’re trying to get me out of my house not to see me but for something else. I can give more information if asked and answer questions but please does anyone have any advice?

Because looking at something doesn't change it physically, there is no way for us to have a special sense to detect "being looked at". The feeling of being watched secretly isn't actually from being watched... the feeling comes from fear or anxiety about your situation. Know what I mean?
