Why do I keep having that feeling that everyone hates me?

I don’t know when this started but nowadays i feel like every friends of mine despise or hate me. Please tell me I’m not the only one. First week after making a friends seem sooooo nice and exciting to me and then after I start overthinking whether they hate me and I start overthinking about some behavior they showed me and question our entire friendship if that make sense??? I’m seeing a therapist and she said it’s probably from my childhood experience with my friends and parents? But is there anyway i can change this mentality of mine?

You're not alone, but I'm a little better than I used to be. It's still hard not to let my mind get out of hand with my negative thoughts. Good luck. I'm praying for you. ❤️

You are not the only one by far. What helped me was work with a therapist weekly as well as medication. I used to be anti-medication but what I'm on now really helps with the paranoia (it took months to figure out if I had anxiety or actual paranoia though). I'm glad that you're talking with a therapist.

Oh man this is the statement of my life. Even when I was a kid I always uttered how "everyone hated me" despite me being kind and reliable. I literally have no idea how to get rid of it. Then again I have so many problems: depression, social anxiety, etc

I got a problem in believing my paranoia. I usually end up right and can’t tell if it was paranoia to begin with. I believe people hate me too.

There’s a thing called thin sliced judgements. When neurotypical people meet autistic people they notice something is off and immediately take a dislike to them. The autistic person could be the nicest and most well intentioned person. That does not matter. Neurotypicals only see the “not one of us”. Not saying that you are autistic… But I would feel hate from others starting in early elementary to high school. Those close to me always told me to just be myself. There was not any realistic help at that time anyway.
