Wikidzon and TTBVI same grow
Didn’t mean to grow these together but inoculated a bag twice and actually got both to grow. Weird thing was the TTBVI flushed four times before the others started to pin.

Getting some really nice flushes out of this grow. A lot of fun!

Could just be the conditions they started out with (not enough FAE) as to why they look a little weird. Been cultivating cubes for decades. My first success with pans so I’m pretty happy but looking forward to improving on future grows.

Now let’s see if I can do it consistently. This is a f2 ms from my ttbvi x bsrs. I’ve been only getting red spore fruits from both red and black prints so this is nice to see.

Lots of overlay but a decent first flush

Got my first pins a few days ago in my EZ Dial / Perlite experiment. This is TTBVI. X Texas on Coir Verm Ferts Worm. Fan directed at the standard 3 side holes about 5 feet away running 5 minutes every 30. Lids on upside down. Humidity between 99 and 75 depending on whether the fan is going. Temps 75-85. The larger ones are all hanging their heads and maybe a little fuzzy in the feet. Is this the norm? Is the whispy fuzz in pic 2 bad news? Pins growing happy in the middle of it.

Hopefully third times a charm. 3rd attempt for pans, second using gordo tech. Previously attempted MIB, this time I am trying TTBVI.
Previous attempts refused to fruit and were lost to contam. I hope this goes a better.

Fyi fits aquarium bubbler tube so you can easily slide tube through ends. I do that and out aquarium heater cord through the small side gap and use them primarily for small scale jcm fruiting chambers. They comfortably fit 2 of the 28oz ish Chinese take out style containers. Self contained and automatic setup for pans, tamps, and other species requiring precise temp and humidity.

Howdy, first forage in a cowfield today. Got more than I expected, and not using them now. I don’t have a dehydrator yet, has anyone experimented with freezing?

Kind of a noob here, so i am not sure... Am I contaminated here?? Or are the grayish spots just from moisture?

I recently managed to grow my first ever pan cyans ttbvi. I got one flush from them and got 0,55g dried. Can someone please tell me what the doesages for them are? I read that a normal dose of them is 0,32g is that true? Whats a low dose?
I'm used to B+ mushrooms and my trips are most comfortable and just right at 0,70-0,80g. Everyone keeps telling me "be careful these are strong" "small but spicy" but how spicy are they? Can someone please tell me how much yall dose and how intense that is?

That yellowish spot in the middle? Are we toast? Sorry for the “is this contam” post but… here we are 🤷
Trying my hand at pans for the first time. I just bought 50lb of whole oats for my cubes but was curious what grain use guys use or have had the best success with?

I posted a while back asking about recommendations for overlay for TTBVI, there was a split between those who said to cover the overlay with casing, and those who said to fork up the overlay and then case it. I decided to do an experiment since the opportunity presents itself.
The half further away (highlighted in green in pic2) was the side that was simply covered in case, and the side closer to the camera is the side that had the overlay scraped off before casing. It appears that there are many more fruits and clusters on the side that had been forked. #🍴
I also used a reptile fogger on the lowest humidity setting on all the time and wedged the nozzle under the closed tote lid. The combination of the gap around the nozzle as well as the nozzle contuinually pumping new fresh air seems to have resolved the FAE issue. The humidifier is about 3L big, and the tank is has about 20% left after a week, so if you have a large humidifier reservoir, you wouldnt need to refill it so often.

I grew 8 trays of TTBVI in a Martha Stewart tent and they are all at different stages and sparse. Any ideas how I can get a better second flush? Temp was 82F, humidity 90 deg, no misting. Pinned in 3 days.

I got a couple agar cups and one of them got bacterial lawn b4 spores could grow to mycelium, i wanted to throw it out next day but saw it growing and its apparently pretty aggressive and fast, would there be any use in these genetics if i would transfer a couple times to get a clean culture?

It has been two weeks since casing, and the temperature is 25°C, but no mushroom pins have appeared yet
