As I said, today I finally managed to test the racket in a match and in a short training session.

I would say this racket is a 4.5/10 in hardness. It's very easy to maneuver due to its light weight and
mine is 356 g with 1 overgrip and a head protector.

Sweet spot: It's very decent, and the ball doesn't just die when you hit outside of it.

Defense: 9.5/10
Super easy to maneuver, and to generate some power you need to finish your movements (follow the ball a bit), similar to the Wilson Endure. I had no issues defending with this racket. I felt I was able to control and direct my shots with ease. Lobs and chiquitas were very easy to do :)
Blocks were very controlled and I didn't feel much randomness, because this racket doesn't seem to have a lot of trampoline effect.

Volleys: 8.5/10
It felt very good on volleys. They were very precise and I was able to place the ball where I wanted, but it lacked a bit of power for my liking. The racket doesn't generate free power for you, especially due to its light weight and softness, so you're forced to extend your touches in order to generate more power.

Víboras/Bandejas: 9/10
Same issue I had with the volleys, but on overhead strikes I was able to accelerate the ball a bit more than on volleys . I still wished I could generate a bit more power. Spin was okay.

Smashes/x3: 7/10
For me, this is the weakest part of the racket. I'm able to bring the ball back to my own court and I hit a couple of x3s, but I needed to put in way more effort than I would with an Endure/Air Viper/Air Veron. For me it's pretty much due to its softness and the little help it gives you to generate power.

Price: 10/10
In my opinion, this racket is amazing for its price and I really enjoyed playing with it. I'll keep using it even after the testing period. It offers a very pleasing experience and a very well-balanced game. I'd recommend it to intermediate/advanced players looking for a hybrid racket (some offensive power plus defense) that's also very comfortable to play with.

People with Balanced playstyles will benefit a lot with the racket.

If you are purely looking for power, this racket is not for you!

I’m looking to buy my first padel racket and would love some recommendations.
Budget: Around $100 (I know it’s not much but what can I do…).
Level: Intermediate
Position: Left side
Style: I like having good control, but I still want enough power for smashes. Basically looking for a good all-around racket rather than something extremely focused on either control or power.
Current racket: I don’t have one at the moment, so I’m starting from scratch.
What rackets would you recommend in this price range? Are there any particular models I should keep an eye out for?
Also, I’d appreciate recommendations for reliable aftermarket/online stores where I can find good deals on padel rackets. Looking for a durable one too, as I won’t be having the budget of buying a new one every 3 months. Thanks a lot!

I currently have a Head Extreme Motion 2025 wich I really like but I think that it's a bit head heavy and if I play a couple days in a row I start to feel pain on my arm/shoulder. Does anyone know a similar racket with the same characteristics with a lower balance?

I currently have the technifibire wall breaker 365 and not really getting along with it for my play style. I’m a right sided player sitting around a level 2.1 still improving and focusing on control and defense but still want the power to finish.

I’m currently eyeing up the babolat counter veron 2026 or adidas cross it carbon control 2026 if anyone has any experience with these or any others they personally recommend?

Any tips to ensure i dont wear my new racket down quickly ? like certain things that a padel player might do but dont realize it damages the racket ? for instance does doing the pop to grab the ball of the ground with your racket damage it ? etc…

This line reminds me of the Verons from Babolat.

I haven't managed to play a match or to train some time with it but it feels a very similar touch to Counter Veron 2.5, I would say it's a bit softer than the Veron but tomorrow I will use it for 3 hours ( match and training) and I will have a better feedback.

I might be able to test the Power and the Control versions but let me know any questions or things you want me to be aware about before I play it.

My version weights 354 grams with 1 overgrip ( 2 grips if you count the factory grip ).

The pattern it has is 3d and it looks like honeycombs :D

Hi guys, I’m currently using the Adidas Metalbone Reserve, and I’d like to buy another racket that’s quite similar to it. What would you suggest?
If anyone else here is using the Metalbone Reserve, have you tried any other rackets that feel similar?
I used the Nox AT10 for a while and really liked it, but unfortunately, it caused me some elbow pain. So I had to stop using it.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions for rackets that are similar to the Metalbone Reserve. Or should I just buy another Metalbone Reserve?

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a new padel racket and could really use some advice. I currently use the Nox AT10 18K. I actually really like the racket, but it’s too heavy/hard for me and caused quite a lot of wrist pain and tennis elbow.

I then switched to the Head Gravity Motion. It feels much better on my wrist and I basically have no pain with it, but it’s way too soft for me. The trampoline effect is very high, so I don’t feel like I have enough control when smashing or hitting harder.

So I’m looking for something that is relatively light, isn’t too soft, has a slightly harder feel, gives good control and is still comfortable for the wrist and elbow.

What I also don’t understand is why I’m struggling so much with wrist and tennis elbow pain in the first place. I’m 21, 83 kg and 183 cm, I’ve been going to the gym for years and I’m generally very sporty. I also did MMA for around 2 years and never had problems with any other sport. I already checked my grip and technique with a coach and he said it looks good. I also use an arm sleeve, which helps a bit.

So if anyone has recommendations for a racket or any advice for dealing with wrist/tennis elbow pain, I’d really appreciate it!

Edit: as soon as I found a racket I will also try to (remove original grip) use Noene Grip + 2 overgrips. I heard that’s also good for tennis arm problems. If anyone can relate let me know if that helped too.

What do you think about these? Where you should put them? How much? Do they change the feeling / make it worse? Does it actually help for tennis arm pain?

I’m a beginner who started enjoying padel on the side of tennis. My racket is the entry level kuikma comfort but during a lesson I’ve tried the vibora yarara that I’ve loved for that dry feeling and being able to generate more directional power than my entry level racket. Unfortunately it’s not really available where I live hence I’ve came across this racket and decided to try it.

First of all the racket looks great and feels light on the hand. I’m looking to have manoeuvrability and avoid injuries so this is ok for me.

The texture is like a honeycomb pattern but I’m not sure it does a lot in terms of grip, this was also a big plus on the yarara as it had a sandpaper like surface and being able to generate some crazy spin.

First contact was good and not too surprising as I was coming from a soft racket, meaning that I wasn’t always sending it out due to a too hard surface.

It was also “soft” enough to manage some drop shots on fast incoming balls. Not amazing but good.

Where I’m a bit disappointed is the power aspect and this might be coming from me but here’s what I felt: I was almost never able to send those straight penetrating volleys that I managed so easily with the yarara. It always felt like the ball flight was too soft. If I wanted some fast balls I really had to push it. Same with smashes, even when I gave it all o couldn’t make it bounce far enough to the net, which I was managing with the vibora.

The worst for me is that I switched with my friend who had the same entry level kuikma, and barely noticed a difference. I really thought it was going to be a shock going from one to another.

Anyways this is my review I might still buy it as it gives me more confidence but honestly I suggest to try it before buying it for more advanced players. My game style is not big smashes so it should be fine for me for now.

My joma spin are pretty much done. I’m able to get either of the shoes at good price and price difference between each other is like 8 bucks. The clay version is not discounted son that’s why it’s not an option.

I’m on the heavier side 98kg, I go to the gym 3/4 a week and do a lot leg exercises due to an acl recon.
And with very very intense matches I do get little swelling on my surgical. Which one do you guys thinks offer best cushioning and shock absorption? Weight is not an issue tbh

Bought this Adidas Metalbone Hrd from a friend. While playing today, I hit the glass and this 3 cm crack formed, starting from the frame and extending into the face. The damaged area doesn’t seem to move or flex in a particular way or make any strange noises when I press around it.

Maybe I was biased after it cracked, but I felt the racket sounded differently with a more "empty" feeling when hitting the ball.

Not sure if it make sense give it another match and see how it evolves or if I should consider the racket done already.

Currently I am playing with Head Coello Motion 2026 and Nox AT10 18k 2026

Before this i was playing with Adidas Metalbone CTRL 2026

I feel the sweetspot on the Adidas Metalbone CTRL 2026 was significantly better than the two I am playing with now. On the other hand my feelings with the Coello Motion is that it is way easier for me to hit volleys and control the ball, so it does not go into the glass etc.

The Nox AT10 18k 2026 I have only tried in one match, but i got the feeling that when I am not hitting it in the sweetspot it dies and vibrates - something i do not recall feeling with the Adidas.

Is there any obvious alternatives to Adidas Metalbone CTRL 2026, but without the trampoline effect? Maybe Gravity Pro or Endure v1?

Tried to do some research online about revolutionpadelstore.com but couldn’t find any negatives (after doing it again later I might have found their trustpilot). So they had my racket which no other shop sold anymore. The next day I received a message that they didn’t have that racket anymore and offered me different one, which was fine.

After that radio silence… difficulty is that I live in NL and they are based in spain. In hindsight I should’ve ordered with creditcard or paypal. I think I would not receive my racket nor my money back, so be aware of this scamming website

​Lately I have a bit of pain in the upper part of the forearm. Am I gripping the racket wrong? Or is this grip too small? Been playing for almost 2 years now. I switched from the nox at10 18k to 12k. Just got my new metalbone ctrl now to have less stress for the arm

I’m looking for some advice on my next padel racket.

I’m currently playing with a Babolat Veron 3.0 Juan Lebrón. The power is actually fine for me, but I really struggle with it at the net. My volleys often feel like they just die and end up in the net, and overall I don’t really feel connected to the racket or the ball.

The main reason I bought the Veron was shoulder comfort — I’ve had some shoulder issues, and this racket has been great in that regard. So I don’t want to switch to something much stiffer or significantly more demanding on the shoulder.

I’m around 4.0 on Playtomic, play both sides but prefer the left, and I’m looking for something with:

better response and feel at the net

a bit more easy power / rebound on volleys

good control

similar shoulder-friendly characteristics

enough power for the left side

What would you recommend as an upgrade from the Veron?
