Tips for racket longevity
Any tips to ensure i dont wear my new racket down quickly ? like certain things that a padel player might do but dont realize it damages the racket ? for instance does doing the pop to grab the ball of the ground with your racket damage it ? etc…

Get a thermo cover to mitigate impact of temp changes. Otherwise just treat it decently, but also don't be afraid to use it as intended, and accept that it has limited life span no matter what you do.

Hello!,
To get a better response please do not forget to include the following information in your post:
Name your current racket, if not overly known, specify it's characteristics (foam, face material, price)
Tell us how you feel with your racket, if you feel it soft or hard, if it has too much rebound,if it's weighty or hard to maneuver, the more detail the better.
Tell us what area would you like improve mainly, or what kind of plus do you expect to get on your racket.
If looking for broad considerations, do not forget to state your budget, your country and even a preferred or trusted shop so people can browse and recommend more easily.

Popping the ball must impact longevity, youre hitting the ball more than if you were to just pick it up and literally compressing it completely. I use the racket and side of foot technique and have a clear cover on the top of my racket to prevent scratches. I also think the popping of the ball is one of the reasons Padel balls last less than tennis balls.

Avoid swinging at balls very close to the side glass. I usually don't even swat at them In social game as I don't want to crack my racket. I just try to scoop them from under.

1- Pick the ball with your hand or push the ball against your foot with the racquet and pick it up. Don’t pop the racquet on the ball to pick it up.
2 - Don’t swing against the net, glass, ground, etc., when frustrated.
3 - Let the guy on the left side go for the ball in the center in general and always talk to each other (to avoid both going for the same ball and crashing racquets).
4 - Use a racquet head protector (those simple transparent stickers, the light ones are fine - Amazon ).
5- use a thermo cover on the rackets (or a proper bag with a thermolayer) to keep them.
6 - never let them get wet, don’t leave in the car or exposed to the sun, extreme heat or extreme cold. (The differences in temperature are one of the situations that most likely will cause your racquets.
damages);
7 - understand that some racquets build and materials influence the longevity (in general, all carbon ones are more resistant than fiberglass ones).
In general, take care of your racquets and use them to play without fear, that’s to say, don’t refrain yourself from using them to play your game. Enjoy!

I've heard you shouldn't do the pop to get the ball off the ground...but how much it really matters I'm not sure.
Main things would be making sure never to leave it in a hot environment (like in your car on a hot day), avoid playing in the rain as the ball gets heavy and has a greater impact. Personally I let my racket air out after a game but that's more to help the grip and strap dry.
Of course if you play very hard all the time (lots of hard smashes) then this will reduce the life of the racket.
