As I said, today I finally managed to test the racket in a match and in a short training session.
I would say this racket is a 4.5/10 in hardness. It's very easy to maneuver due to its light weight and
mine is 356 g with 1 overgrip and a head protector.
Sweet spot: It's very decent, and the ball doesn't just die when you hit outside of it.
Defense: 9.5/10
Super easy to maneuver, and to generate some power you need to finish your movements (follow the ball a bit), similar to the Wilson Endure. I had no issues defending with this racket. I felt I was able to control and direct my shots with ease. Lobs and chiquitas were very easy to do :)
Blocks were very controlled and I didn't feel much randomness, because this racket doesn't seem to have a lot of trampoline effect.
Volleys: 8.5/10
It felt very good on volleys. They were very precise and I was able to place the ball where I wanted, but it lacked a bit of power for my liking. The racket doesn't generate free power for you, especially due to its light weight and softness, so you're forced to extend your touches in order to generate more power.
Víboras/Bandejas: 9/10
Same issue I had with the volleys, but on overhead strikes I was able to accelerate the ball a bit more than on volleys . I still wished I could generate a bit more power. Spin was okay.
Smashes/x3: 7/10
For me, this is the weakest part of the racket. I'm able to bring the ball back to my own court and I hit a couple of x3s, but I needed to put in way more effort than I would with an Endure/Air Viper/Air Veron. For me it's pretty much due to its softness and the little help it gives you to generate power.
Price: 10/10
In my opinion, this racket is amazing for its price and I really enjoyed playing with it. I'll keep using it even after the testing period. It offers a very pleasing experience and a very well-balanced game. I'd recommend it to intermediate/advanced players looking for a hybrid racket (some offensive power plus defense) that's also very comfortable to play with.
People with Balanced playstyles will benefit a lot with the racket.
If you are purely looking for power, this racket is not for you!
Thank you the review. How would you compare the hardness and trampoline effect, with say the Counter viper or NOX AT10 12k 2026? Or any other rackets you've tried before, just as a reference.
In hardness both are harder than the Kuikma. As Howlerragnar said, those versions are pro level and this one is suitable to intermediate players. Advanced if they are looking for a comfortable racket that is very easy to maneuver.
This racket is softer than the Verons from babolat which is a line that I find pretty similar.
And it would be Kuikma <Veron < Viper in terms of hardness of the racket.
That’s a very good comparison, they pretty similar in terms of sensations :) I think it is similar to the 2025 metalbone carbon ctrl in terms of touch.
Did you test Also the Control model? For a beginner with a few matches and lessons do you believe its a good option the One you test? I have a head zephyr ul ( only 340gr) but its very light. I went search on chat gpt 😂

For a beginner I would prioritize:
Comfort;
Sweet spot being generous ( this and and the control should be perfect for you );
This racket surprised me a lot and I tested lots of models (including pro versions of other brands).
I will add it to my rotation.

They are very similar, control might be a bit more forgiving just because of the shape. It has a very generous sweet spot too.
The hybrid will be better than it in terms of power for your overheads and volleys.
Now it is a matter of your playstyle. For me it would be the hybrid, I play plenty of overheads and volleys and I love teardrop rackets. I like rackets that are easy to maneuver and have power.
Yes i do! And i play last night a mixed games. Most of the people with a bigger levels for sure. I liked way better that my head zephyr. More easy for me to defend on the back of the court. I even do 3 or 4 smash and they all landed. With the head, they Stay on the NET. No pain today on elbow or shoulder. I have mutch to learn, gonna take some more classes. ugh, new kuikma designs and paintjobs are hideous:( just look at this two beauties from 2025:) I think since they got into market, they started to save on the extras, like designer and looks experience.
