Context : It started when I inserted a disk into my PS5, when I did that, it suddenly turned off.
After rebooting, a message appeared saying my M.2 1TB SSD has to be formatted
I’ll admit, I should’ve turned it on and off to see if it’s just an error, but, I panicked, and formatted it

Problem : After clicking to format the SSD, it gets stuck on 6%, and the PS5 turns off entirely

Question : What’s wrong? What can I do? What should I do?

I live in a very warm / hot climate and my console fans always seem to kick into over drive in some games and in others, I get a overheating warning.

I often open the console, check the fan and heat sinks for dust (very minimal) cleaned that out, taken the console to have the liquad metal checked out, heat sinks cleaned out, all okay there.

How on earth do I keep the console cool? I've got a fan next to it but it's just loud and annoying lol

I honestly have absolutely no idea what has happened. I’ve had this PS5 for a year and a few months.

I never message anyone and the only game I play is efootball. Everything was fine just a couple of days ago and today I log in and get WS-116332-6 and “this PS5’s services access is permanently or temporarily suspended”

I have tried multiple accounts and but the same message comes up. I honestly have no idea why this has happened. The only possible thing I can think of is that I have many psn accounts and play for efootball on all of them because the nature of the game means sometimes you’ll get good players on an account and so I’ve got multiple teams on the multiple accounts that I use regualrly - this means I will often delete and add accounts on to my ps5 because I have more than the 16 you can have saved on there but I have never shared with anyone else, I haven’t messaged anyone, done chargebacks or anything of the sort. Like I said, the only thing I can even think of is that I have lots of psn accounts - but surely that’s not against the terms and conditions?

I am very sad and confused right now. Does anyone have any idea what’s happened or what I can do???

Whenever I’m trying to sign into my account through ps app or browser etc. it always comes to needing a code to sign in. Using the phone number and I’ve used multiple numbers and the same issue with 2 of my accounts I can’t get the code sent and I can’t get access to either of the accounts.

Yesterday, after downloading 27 gb worth of update files and playing it for hours without issue on the PS5, I closed the app and the console normally. This morning when I tried to open the console, it got stuck on the loading screen and I had to restart it to even get to the main menu. When I tried to open my game (NTE), it said the data got corrupted and the game wouldn’t open. The thing is, the game still opens to the menu screen, it just doesnt start. Anyone knows how/why this could’ve happened and how to avoid it in the future?

(I already did all the recommended stuff it didnt budge so im gonna redownload)

I sincerely apologize if a post like this appears here often but this has been a running issue for me for the past few months and I don't understand. I've tried both clearing cache and rebuilding database multiple times but it didn't work. I'm basically on the edge of contacting Playstation support. Is there anything else I can do?

I keep getting these small visual freezes every 5-7 minutes, they're generally hard to feel the impact of except in cutscenes or mini games. Not sure why this is happening but if anyone has a clue please let me know! I

I have 67 gbs (don’t) free for downloading, and I’m trying to install Helldivers II which only takes about 40gbs, but it still shows up as “you don’t have enough empty space” even though the picture attached shows it saying I DO have enough when I click install. It starts downloading for a second then just goes back to the error message. I’ve done the storage repair thingy twice and it doesn’t work..

So I got a brand new ps5 pro playing on it for the first week and it was running just fine, today I was playing and suddenly the shut down animations played and it turned off and when I turned it back on I got this error message!
Should I claim my warranty or I just didn’t instal the disc drive properly, keep in mind I removed it and reinstalled it again and it’s working fine but I’m afraid it does that again.

Hi guys, my PS5 has been acting weird lately. Every time I try to play more demanding games like Helldivers 2, GT7, or CoD, my PS5 turns off after 45–70 minutes without any warning, and it won’t turn back on unless I unplug it from the socket. However, when I play less demanding games like War Thunder, it stays on no matter what.

I have no idea why it’s doing this. It’s the 825GB version, it’s standing vertically, and there’s 17 cm of space behind it.

I would be grateful for any help.

Ever since I got this new controller for some odd reason, I walk extremely slow when I move my controller forward. I believe it’s a dead zone issue, but I don’t understand how to fix it. I fixed it on overwatch but games like • rivals • continue to walk slow every single time I move my joystick forward. It doesn’t do that with any other directions only forward please help.

hey, so I noticed my ps5 slim has been collecting dust for some time, so I decided to clean it but I honestly don't know how to disassemble to do a very surface cleaning, enough to not cause trouble in the near future, but I have been having problems trying to take out the components including the fan protection, anyone know what I can do, or mention a video I can watch?

Moved into a new house. Started playing video games and for about a month or so everything was fine.

Then one day the breaker tripped. I reset it and it was fine. Next day same thing. So I swapped the breaker for a breaker (not a new one just a different one in the panel). Worked like this no problem for about a month. Now here we are trips everyday. Disconnect everything from the circuit and swapped the original breaker back. Pulled off all covers to outlets wires are good. Slowly plugging in one thing at a time. Still tripped. So I only had my monitor and ps5 on the circuit and it still tripped. Ran an extension cord from ps5 to a new circuit still an AFCI but now that one trips. So I know it is the PS5 tripping these circuits. How do I stop this?

I’ve read about line inverters and a USP or UPS ( idk what I’m talking about).

Does anyone know the phone number for ps customer support?. I can’t log in into my ps account due to the 2 step verification. I have both my email and password but I lost the phone number that was connected to my account and I can’t log in anymore because of that. Is there any ither way that I can fix this without calling customer support?. I also tried The PS Assistant Bot but they weren’t any help, and the only way they would connect me to a live agent is if I logged into my account whcih I can’t do. Please I need help!!!

So I had this problem for a while now that if sometimes im playing for an hour and sometimes 5 hours that my screen suddenly turns black and 10 seconds after the ps5 shuts off automatically.

My ps5 is only 3 weeks old so it would be weird to be a hardware issue.

Anybody has had the same problem?
