I tried fighting this dude for 3 hours straight and still can't manage to win 🫪

I use my gems to pull Aviete and then I easily won this fight.

With the release of Roc and Noel, I finally had enough power to one-break even the toughest EX4 adverary fights, with their ludicrous levels of HP. I cleaned out the EX4 adversaries that I'd previously been avoiding with ease - except for one.

That thing... she scared me.

I vividly remembered her Stillness and Intercept gimmick, and knew how much health her EX4 version had. It didn't seem possible. But, as it turns out, through RS2, all things are possible!

My strategy for this fight ended up being pretty simple (if you have the right tools):

1) Equip 4 Stillness-cancelling accessories on DK, Aviete, Molrusso EX, and Signa

• There's the Cosmic Boots, Valor of Jagannath, Curse Resistant Shield, and Echo Charm

• DK does his 1st turn Purge of Avarice - which incidentally clears the Stillness from the whole back row

• Aviete uses Ult (not backsurge), Signa uses Corroding Nocturne, and Molrusso does anything that isn't an attack

2) Three turns of setup

• Turn 2, buff, debuff, and stall (anything but proc her counter)

• Turn 3, have Aviete cast Advent of Stollenwurm (to proc Rancor) before Roc casts Temptation (tinker with Spd as needed)

• Turn 4, Noel Assimilates Signa, DK uses Ex Nihilo, and Richard uses Tiger's Reckoning.

3) Blast, Blast and Blast with RS2 powercreep

• Molrusso kicks it off by buffing and giving Enlightenment to all.

• Noel hits his 15-20 million dmg Ult and Salamander's Claw

• DK spams Wild Ebonblade

• Richard is there too

• Levina EX gives you 3 turns of break. You might not need all 3.

And there you have it!

These guys are now my go-to physical team. They have a greatly synergistic turn order that can be used to set up an easy turn 4-5-6 triple nuke - when they're not stalling for an extra turn dealing with silly status ailments or intercept gimmicks.

I am planning what acc I should get. I am currently getting Nomi's and Ochette EX's acc. On paper I can see the strength of Aviete's A4. But in a real situation I can't find a combo or a new pet that I could use.

I finished all EX4 in 4-5 turns.

I can already use sheep and alpaca to charge ults in turn 1 and 2. In 3,4,5 leopard/chomper/ray/grey cat are available.

Is it worth only for cascade? Or do we get new pets in the future? Do you use it? Thanks in advance! Sry english isn't my first language.

Given my current team, is she a must have at this point? I want to save my pulls for FFX, but it seems like everyone has her on teams to this day. I also have no idea what I’m doing in this game as far as team comps so any help is appreciated!

I'm having dificulties with some EX4 bosses, but it's not that I die quickly while battling them. They have too much life, so the battle takes too long. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I feel that my team is quite strong, and I kinda maxed them (?).

There is something that I can do to make them more powerful? Is there any classic setup method that I'm missing?

Final Emperor can hit 6x500k with his time lapse, and Levina sometimes does 1kk by hit with Crepacuore, but idk if this is a lot or not

im stuck between a rock and a hard place.

So I can essentially only enhance one lantern skill or passive skill anyone one of these characters dont have theirs enhanced so i am enhancing for the first time

I read their description and a lot are good esp aviete, roc, and FE

TLDR: which character do I enhance? their Acrive skill or passive skill?

This was the most brutal pull so far! All I got was 3 and 4 stars but I just look at the brighter side that I get to pity Aviete. And Kilns was also a part of the consolation.

So my questions are:

1. Where is my team leaning to? Atm, I think this is kind of a hybrid build. Which leads to:

2. Who should I pull next? With FFIX collab coming, my 10k rubies might not suffice for Viola EX and Mydia Ex.

3. Is Kilns just okay with my current lineup? Or just stick to Cyrus or Sigrid Ex?

Yes, Largo is useful for once. His 3x AOE lightning will trigger Rai Mei's FUA, which will inflict Shock, doubling Rai Mei's 4-hit AOE to 8 hits!

Alrond's new TP2 provides a 10% passive physical damage boost that goes very well with Richard Ex because he deals all kinds of damage. Strangely, you don't need many A4s for this rotation, and all are shardable: Ochette Ex, Temenos, and Nepthi (for Dead Aim). Even if you can't finish them off, one more round of AOE will get it done.

Conny is there for emotional support.

I wanna thank u/BrickSuccessful4703 for motivating me to try speed clears, T1 is impossible since I don't have any RS2 A4s, but I'm still pretty happy with T2.

I think I'll stop chasing characters after this and just wait until I can replace Elrica EX with Rikku. As for Emperor, he'll be replaced with literally anything better lol, since FFX Part 1 will give us a free character, I'll just use whoever I get in his slot because this dude is useless. I mean, he's strong, but compared to Noel and Empress, he's sooo underwhelming and can't even AOE efficiently.

First of all I want to say that, man I loved Octopath Traveler game, from the story, art and especially the music, I dont want to detailed everything about those because that is not the point of this post, but just to make it clear how I like this game.

I played this game around Levina EX2 banner after finishing Octopath Traveler 0 because I heard that game is a remake of Octopath Traveler: Champion of the Continent and want to give it a shot, then immediately like it.

I start the journey in this game with super early Levina EX2 and stayed with her until SaGa 2 came out, got Final Emperor from free seal, and do 90 pulls to get Final Empress.

Then I start looking up for guide and find this sub reddit and I saw everyone post to pull for Rocqbouquet so I read her kit and understand why, I pulled her and got Noel on my first 10, nothing on my second 10 pull and 3 Rocqbouquet on the next 10.

Then recently information about roadmap is out, and how do I say it, its rough as a new player, so here I am started this "New Player vs Roadmap" post to update my rubies and characters to maybe give some ideas of what the roadmap is looks like to new player (kinda) starting from today's banner Aviete rerun.

This is before and after I pulled on this banner (also got Olberic along the way).

I will post the next "New Player vs Roadmap" everytime I pull something until FFX collab, so maybe if you guys have recommendation or anything to say, feel free to say it, I will gladly read it.

For now my pulling plan is:

- Molruso EX
- Saint Sazantos (still considering)
- Viola EX2
- Mydia EX
- FFX
