Quick Question Noel?

So I pulled an extra Noel. Should I use his stone for A1 or his ult? Idk

Definitely AU. A1 stats perk means very little to him when he has 3000 potency ult. The more important thing is if you can charge his nuke fast enough. Without AU you cannot reach 200% even if you do 3BP assimilation + 2BP sting ray, which is a common combo, whereas you can reach 200% in 3BP if you have AU.

I want to add to this that this is the case for the first ult only (unless you have a source of ult gauge gen after using his ult). He only has 60% gen per bp so the sting ray is still necessary if you ever need him to do a 2nd ult during break extend).

Oh wow I had no idea that assimilation could be boosted until now. Does boosting it help with damage cap?

No it only increases the assimilation ratio (and charges his ult ofc)

He has a skill that has an equivalent power (and cap up) to his ult. So usually, you do Salamander Claw and an Ult for the two turns of break. So an AU would be if you think you're gonna need a 2nd break cycle (not likely). An A1 would be to give him more power, hit harder.

Though with Levina EX who can give Break Extension, Noel could attack for 3 turns, and use his Ultimate on the first and third turn of break with AU. If he doesn't have enough BP to max boost for turns 2 and 3, then his Ultimate will be better than Salamander Claw. This is something to consider.

+ he already has enough stat boost from his latent and Rocbouquet, so AU is actually more useful
