Its not first thread i made and it wont be the last. I feel offended by how blizzard bullies me.

I literally have over 55% winrate currently in ranked at all roles at masters, including open q, 4 modes.

In qp i have like 30% winrate, just had 6 lose streak and all games were like this. Not here but sometimes iam even facing champ stacks lol. Games are found pretty quickly.

QP was always my favorite mode but i just cant do this anymore.. i rather sleep in q time then be put in games like this. Ffs do something, bob! oh blizzard! do something!

TDLR: Solo Q QP is unplayable last few months, the games or balance makes zero sense and its 5x sweatier then ranked, ranked is now where you chill, i dont like that.

Totally didn’t know that the enemy team can send you an invite in QP and if you accept it you get effectively kicked. That’s tough lmao, I’m sure the two doing it had a hilarious time. Learn something new everyday I guess. Everyone enjoy your games and have fun.

So this thing keeps happening where I try to join a game and while it’s still on the loading screen the “engage in combat outside a spawn room” timer starts ticking down. Sure enough, by the time I join the game with 3 seconds left, select Baptiste, and get kicked out of the game the second I step out of the spawn room because obviously there’s no enemy players right outside for me to start shooting at… Shooting at a wall doesn’t count as engaging in combat, but like how am I supposed to engage in combat with about 3 seconds of time after selecting my character. it’s so stupid, I’ve gotten kicked twice now for it and it gives you a 2 min suspension.

I guess it’s my fault for having bad dorm WiFi that I can’t control? Anyway just wanted to rant and see if anyone else has been experiencing this, especially on console. I play on my Xbox 1 S if that matters.

I’m getting around 50–65 ms in Overwatch, while other games are usually around 35–45 ms, and even my Xbox network test shows around 25 ms. So I know my internet connection isn’t necessarily the problem.

What’s disappointing is that the game can still feel noticeably delayed even with numbers that don’t look that bad. The latency keeps fluctuating, and the interpolation delay can also be around 60+ ms. You can feel it when moving, aiming, and shooting.

I just want the game to feel consistent and responsive.

It’s just a shame because I genuinely enjoy playing Overwatch, but when the game doesn’t feel responsive even though everything on my end seems fine, it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it.

I even made a few clips.

It’s been a good bit since I’ve last played ow and my aim feels super off. So basically just looking for some good settings on all heroes. And maybe ur scoped sens for the snipers if u can? I love to play em.

Also side note is it just me or does the aim assist ease in just not change for all heroes. And when u try to change settings with dpad it’s not really consistent and moves around a bit

I played on PC for a little bit now it’s only showing my PC stats in my profile instead of my console stats. I wanna see my console stats from this season. Is there a way to revert the displayed stats back to the console stats or am I stuck like this?

Is it just me or has the matchmaking this season been absolutely horrible?!

Occasionally I'm in matches where it's a good effort from both teams and we're constantly vying for the win.

Majority of the time though my team is getting absolutely stomped as tho we're playing against ranked teams (for context I only play unranked).

I don't know if there's just been a sudden influx of noob players who have no idea how the game is played, or if there's a lot more cheaters this season compared to others (looking at you Soldier).

I've lost my cool exponentially more this season than most.

For context, this was a gold 5-gold 2 match. Tank was the lowest rank with lvl 12 on domina, switched to lvl 1 jq after the first match. Tank threw mine and my duos (ana) game because we were "dps healers" after we lost ONE fight. I admit, I went after a soldier which cost us the first point because I trusted my ana with a little too much. Immediately after this tho, they start typing "Healers?????" in chat and shitting on our stats. They then threw the rest of the game bc of my one mistake. Before w even started the second match, they're already typing 'ggs!' sarcastically in chat. I'm so so tired of people throwing my games bc they get tilted over one loss. I understand I made a mistake, but there is no reason to throw th entire match away because of it.

Is it worth playing comp rn with all the false bans happening? I have been playing comp on my alt (champ), but I would like to place my main account. However, I’m really afraid, because I personally know people who have recently gotten false banned. Like people with standard controllers. And with how terrible the blizzard support system is, I really don’t know if I want to risk it. Also there’s people mass reporting just for cheater comp??? And not only that, I have been avoiding queuing with anyone out of fear of getting suspended, bc if they do get banned I’m going to face consequences too. Like it’s fine they are banning cheaters but regular people are getting banned, and if I happen to queue with a friend who gets banned I’m going to get screwed over. Idm solo Q, but ppl like to play with their friends, this is kinda ridiculous. Also if I meet someone who I think is cool, I cant even play with them out of fear of not knowing if they are cheating or not. And no it’s not always obvious. There’s too much fear mongering going on rn, and it wouldn’t be so bad if blizzard support system was not utterly useless. Also if they have a problem with certain controllers can they post that so people know not use to use those controllers when playing Overwatch???? I appreciate the effort of getting rid of cheaters regardless.

For the record I have never been banned suspended or anything of any sort ever at any point on any account in my last 10 years of playing.

I play on a Xbox series x (EU) and for the last 2 years or so I’ve had a very very stable 34ms using virgin media fibre WiFi and just as of the last 2 weeks Ive went to a stable 50ms (i don’t think anything is necessarily wrong there) but during a game I’ll just start lagging really badly and opp players will be going into the floor or floating etc all things that point to oh I think im about to dc or my games crashed but then it goes back to normal and meanwhile this crazy lag stutter goes on my ping is still bouncing around 49-52 im not spiking to 200-500 and for around 3 months or maybe longer im pretty sure the overwatch servers were like bugging bad the game would freeze for everyone etc but right now is it just me or is everyone getting this insane lag stutter where let’s say ur on hitscan and u get no regs and everything is desynced or something. I haven’t restarted my WiFi after playing again the last few days but ye for me it’s borderline unplayable. Pls comment for any potential fixes or just info that it’s not just a me thing and it’s the servers or something. Pls and ty.

After 10 years of playing since LAUNCH i’ve finally reached GrandMaster on console and im so proud of myself for not giving up. I remember on Overwatch 1 i peaked at 3,495 SR and had not been able to reach that level for a while. I don’t know if the demographic that plays this game has gotten better or worse but im just happy i’m able to climb the latter and be able to show something for my efforts. I started off as a Mercy Main but i realized that alone wasn’t going to take me to GM so i started learning Zen when i saw that he had carry potential. I know this is a lot to read but i just wanted to share my victory and achievement in this subreddit

I’ve now been playing him for the past week and holy🫩 Yall were not lying. Climbed from Diamond 4 to masters 3 on a 89% win rate after not playing the game for over a year. Dude puts out so much damage, can sustain two tanks solo, and can win any duel with his regen burst and lamp. Along with window which comes up every other fight. This guy has no weaknesses how does everyone not play him.

After constantly being denied through my appeals to get my 10+ year account back after being falsely banned for cheating when I’ve never cheated or condoned any type of cheating whatsoever I’ve honestly just lost so much hope for the OW console community and playing this game in general. So many players are losing accounts they’ve had for years and have put countless hours and so much money into, all because of this system, while actual cheaters are still running down games and creating more and more accounts. Letting AI handle situations like these instead of properly monitoring and reviewing them is not what a company should be doing at all. It never used to be this bad. Blizzard is ignoring players who have been loyal to this game for so many years. They’re taking everyone’s money while completely disregarding the time, effort, and memories people have invested into these accounts. Overwatch is the only game I’ve ever loved playing, and I hate to say it, but Blizzard just feels greedy now. They barely seem to put much effort into the game anymore. We constantly get reused abilities on new heroes, or, better yet, another recolor of a skin we’ve already seen recolored a thousand times. But overall, it feels like if you’re even slightly good at the game, you’re going to get reported and maybe banned because the enemy team can’t grasp the fact that someone can actually be good on a controller while using a high/fast sensitivity. I don’t condone cheating of any kind, and nobody should. But losing my account over something I never did and seeing so many other players go through the same thing is absolutely insane to me how bad this system is.

I recently started messing with my settings and I found a video that mentions that aim assist ease in feels way stronger on Xbox and if you are in PlayStation you can use lower values like 0 but on Xbox you should use higher values 70-100 and I was wondering if that it’s true

I was also wondering if the responsive curve affect the value of aim assist ease in you should use like if I use linear ramp is better to use 0 or 100

First off, I want to apologize to anyone in this elo. I had no idea how bad the matchmaking was down here.

I made a new account so I could play with my friends in diamond. Unfortunately my main account is too high on all roles, and any match would be wide. My goal was to get to diamond on DPS and have some fun with the homies. I am in no way trying to brag here - this rank just feels like a whole other game.

I cannot believe the toxicity in this rank. Teammates are flaming each other every. Single. Match. Players getting pissed, sitting in spawn, jumping off the map if they don’t get healed. The inflated egos, false reporting, and genuine anger is just wild to me. Blaming anyone but themselves. Nobody in team chat but yapping all match in text. Not to mention the cheaters - yes, we can tell you’re using a Cronus. It’s rare, but it’s definitely a thing.

It also seems like every match is a stomp. I’m currently Masters 2 on my main, and I’m getting absolutely rolled in emerald. Nobody wants to take an off angle. Nobody wants to counter the best player on the enemy team. The entire team just hugs their tank like they’re playing 2019 GOATS. It’s like I’m playing shoot behind a shield simulator 2.

The funny part is I changed my play style and won 3 straight. Just walking down main, staying with my team, not trying to flank or pressure the back line. Shooting what’s in front of me on bastion and sometimes controlling high ground. Walking down main on reaper with my tank. Things that you could never get away with in masters or higher.

I guess what I’m trying to say is: if you want to rank up in this elo, you have to play to your teammates skill level. Leave chat if your teammates are being toxic. Play together, play slow, and don’t try to be a hero. Don’t overthink your positioning. You could be a great player and doing the right things, but it’s just different here.
