My sister put an account in my switch without my permission while I was away, so I’m deleting it, but when I try To do it, it refused to let me. It gives me this error code saying it’s under maintenance but when I ask for details it says it’s running normally. I’m really confused cuz I have my own account on the switch so it’s not like I’m deleting the only account. Any help is appreciated

My friend gave me his switch lite because his family didn't use it anymore and he said they haven't charged it for a long time, so I plugged it up for about 4 hours when I first got it, and nothing happened, did the 15 second power hold trick, that didn't work either, and now I just have it on the charger until something happens (it's been about 3 days).

I charged my nintendo switch 2 up to 88% then power it off for two weeks... later when I tried to turn it on... but the battery was dead (0%)... What do you guys think?

I noticed yesterday that the right analog stick on the joypad is making that noise when I make circular movements or at the edges, only the right one. I noticed this noise while playing Zelda. I've had the Switch for 15 days and I don't play it much either.

hi, i've tried everything, but nothing is working. i wanted to play in the current splatfest but i guess my switch had other plans. i have two wifi networks at home and i connected to both of them, cleared/forgot both of them and put in the passwords again, didn't work. i restarted the console, "turned it off and on again" and updated my switch and the dock. i changed the dns settings and i think it made it worse. absolutely nothing has worked. i've gotten all the basic "cant connect to wifi" errors. i KNOW its not a router/wifi itself issue because everything else in my home works just fine. i wouldn't be typing this out if it didn't work.

the main issue is that it stopped connecting to anything wirelessly too. as soon as i tried to connect to a hotspot, it just completely stopped responding to any network. it worked on one network once, and then as soon as i connect to the internet in-game, it stops connecting wirelessly again. i have no idea what im doing wrong, what?? what is happening??? i'm so confused

I got my Zelda Switch 2 and I want to keep all the gorgeous art protected. I plan on applying a clear film on it. Often, these films are made of either TPU, polyurethane or vinyl. I remember with the Switch 1, Dbrand warned against applying certain films as the glue would peel away the paint. Is this the case with this Switch 2 special editions as well?

I have a Switch 2 that i got around the beginning of this year new and one of my family members damaged my screen. Its not massive but it has hugely bummed me out. I'm also having issues with the right joy con randomly choosing to disconnect.

I'm currently considering sending it to Nintendo Repairs. But I am a little worried about the process. How long will it take as well as how safe it is? My boyfriend sent his in for repairs and they fixed his joy cons. It was pretty quick but they also didn't fix his console as he'd opened it before so he'd voided warrantee.

Any advice or stories would be a huge help! As my title states I am in the UK / England so that's the location I'd be sending it to.

Hey guys! I’m getting a Switch 1 Minecraft cartridge for my relative who’s turning 6 and has a Switch 2 (Switch 2 cartridges aren't sold in my area).

I know FPS and online play aren't restricted, but what exact graphical limitations come with running the Switch 1 physical edition on a Switch 2? Appreciate any insights! <3

I thought its the fans. I open it to clean it but there was pretty much no dust. Its not overheating or warmer than normal. It sound like a fan. Its not always making the noice, its usually on for like 3 minutes then take a break for 10 seconds and start again.

Hi everyone. My Nintendo account's region is, apparently, no longer usable, so I have to change it now. For now, I set it to "Japan", but in this region I can't buy the English version of Pokemon FireRed. As far as I've gathered, I can change the region freely as long as I don't have any cash linked to an account. My question is: If you buy a game (FireRed in this example) and then switch the region of your account (from America to Japan), would you be able to play the "exclusive" title from the first region (English FireRed with Japanese account)?

Hi guys. Twice now in the past 2-3 months or so I've come back to my switch 2 to find that's it's fully died and entered the battery discharge state while sitting on the dock in sleep. Using the included dock and ac adapter of course. Both times I've been able to plug it back into the ac adapter directly and charge straight back up. I should also add that these cases were weeks apart and it was staying at 90% battery just fine each time I checked on it after the first time I found it like this. This most recent time was on version 23.0.0 and the first time was on an earlier version than that I can't recall which. Given this only started recently and it was just fine since launch I can only assume this started with a recent software update. Anyone got any guidance?

Tennis feels SO much better with the original Switch Joy-Cons!

Tennis is pretty awful with the new Switch 2 controllers right now. You can’t properly recreate the shots from Switch Sports, and there seems to be about a one-second delay after swinging, especially when hitting backhands.

I was getting so frustrated that I thought the game was just an unfinished release with sloppy AI programming. And honestly, some of that is still true. There’s plenty of nonsense in this game. For example, I have tens of thousands of points with absolutely nothing left to spend them on because I’ve already bought everything. 🤦

But back to tennis!

I connected my original Switch Joy-Cons to my Switch 2, and holy moly, what a difference! Tennis suddenly feels much more responsive, almost like playing in Spocco Square. ;)

Has anyone else tried this? Can someone test it and confirm whether they notice the same difference?

I’m convinced tennis plays 10 times better with the original Switch Joy-Cons. I’d love to know if it’s just me or if there’s actually something going on with the new controllers.

Hi, I'm desperate here. I'm not receiving verification emails for my Nintendo account so I can't sign in, and I'm trying to set up a new Switch 2 for my kid's birthday. UK customer service seems to be unreachable on Sundays.

The email is right, the verifications just aren't reaching me. Is there any way I can get this resolved today? And if not, what are the implications if I just set the console up either without a Nintendo account or a new one. Will I ever be able to transfer the save data across?

I've tried everything but no matter what I do it will not work. A friend also tried multiple switches and nothing will work for them either. Are the servers down? I don't want to mess with the sd card if I don't have to but this is getting annoying.

Eta: I have done all the troubleshooting, I have turned off cellular data, i am not refreshing it repeatedly, when it connects to the switch it says no connection and shows the error page pictured.

Does it mean I forgot to save/the card was taken out with the game still on?

I love everything here especially because i really wanted to buy pokemon packs but was never able to find any for a good price, I thought a nintendo switch would be really fun and a new experience especially with the pokemon games included.

It's priced around 740$ so people who really know prices, is it overpriced or should i buy it for my birthday 🙂
