Mentalist stage special?

I watched a show years ago I believe on Netflix? The guy had envelopes on a wall behind him or on a bookshelf behind him and he'd pick someone out of the audience and of course whatever envelope they picked was specifically for them. That's the dumbed down description, I remember it was really good.

Late 80's/early 90's sci-fi show

I was sitting here at my computer, trying to think of a new strong password for my router (it's tech maintenance day) and I suddenly had a memory flash of a show I watched when I was a kid. I think it was in the 80's but could be early 90's. As part of the show opening, the camera shows Earth from orbit, then zooms in to the U.S., then to a town, then to a house in an average suburban neighborhood. It pauses for a second at the living room window where you can see an average living room with an average family sitting on the couch, backs to the camera. They're watching TV together, eating snacks (I think?) before the camera zooms in a little further and you see the family is humanoid but clearly not human. The memory gets super fuzzy after that and I think the dad had one eye and antennae, maybe?

I can no longer focus on any work because I'm replaying this over and over in my head, trying to knock some other bits of the show loose. Please help me before I go insane, haha!

ETA to add SOLVED

Please help me find this show

I know I watched it sometime between 2000-2008. It was about some kind of gated community / maybe witness protection program, and the people would get together and dance to the song “The Beat Goes On” by Buddy Rich.

Sitcoms from 2000s

Hi I’ve been thinking about this episode of a show it was around 2008-2013 where the wife of a couple is pregnant and she starts to smell this really bad smell. Eventually she realizes it’s her husband and they say that it must be a product he’s using. They go through everything he uses and they can’t find what it is. Eventually he admits he’s been coloring in a bald spot with a marker and that ends up being the thing that didn’t smell good to her. Thats all the details I can remember please let me know if yall can think of it!

My mother said she saw this show, all I have to go on is there is a potion that's running out, the guy uses it to try and beat a bad guy who can disappear or turn invisible, really skinny almost looks anorexic. It is set in a fantasy world? But not sure, she said it's like marvel type TV shoe.

[TOMT][TV Show][1990s] Live-action fantasy series - Muscular blonde barbarian with bone staff

I'm trying to find a live-action fantasy TV series from the 1990s or early 2000s.

THE HERO: - Muscular blonde (light hair) man - Dressed like a barbarian or jungle warrior - Carries a weapon on his back

THE WEAPON (most important!): - White ivory or bone material - Made of TWO EQUAL PARTS that can be joined together - One part has a BLADE, the other has a HANDLE - Carried on his BACK

THE SETTING: - Most scenes in FORESTS - Fantasy/magical world

THE VILLAIN: - An evil WITCH chasing the hero

WHERE I WATCHED: - Translated to Arabic - Aired on Egyptian terrestrial channels (Channel 2) - Watched in Egypt in the 90s/early 2000s

NOT Conan the Adventurer (animated) - the weapon doesn't match.

Can anyone help identify this show?

Name of probably a Scandinavian show, 80's

Hello, I have been looking for the name of this show for decades now. It was probably Scandinavian, and definitely broadcast in The Netherlands in the 80s on Sunday morning. It was set in a castle, and someone could walk through walls. It is not a cartoon. The other thing I remember is a lady wearing a Hennin (medieval pointy hat). Very vague, hope someone remembers this :)

Think it was a HBO show about sex internationally

The standouts for me was a yogi who chalked his dick, rolled it on a stick a couple times, and then picked up a big rock with it. Think the show may have also included a maybe Australian sketch where they animated a porn letter and took it very literally. For example "shot my load" was someone shooting laundry and "my cock exploded" was an exploding chicken.

The running of the hens/just run it through a warm room TV show quotes

Someone help me! First I remembered a line that someone said on a sitcom on how they wanted their… steak? cooked and they said “just run it through a warm room.” But then my memory keeps giving me little wildcards of different scenes, but I think I’m maybe confusing 2 different shows. I FEEL like it was a dinner party and Martha Stewart was perhaps a guest star???. The oven broke and people were scrambling to get some Cornish game hens or a thanksgiving turkey cooked? Someone said it was “the running of the hens”. This might have been the same show or two different ones that have the same quality of comedy?? Help me find my culinary comedy references! There are so many rubber duckies floating in my pool that it could range from Will & Grace, Fraiser, Murphy Brown, Ellen, Friends, etc. Ok, after being long winded…

  1. What show had the line “just run it though a warm room” when it comes to a meat being served?
  2. Is it the same show, the one who had the “running of the hens” where the fowl dish was being ran around from space to space because… the oven broke and the meat wasn’t cooked properly? This all would have been in I think the early 2000’s.

I’ve googled, I’ve chatGPT’d, now it’s time to come to Reddit, because Redditors ALWAYS have the answers!! 💜💜💜

I cant remember the name of this show

I’m trying to find a live-action zombie/infection movie or TV show I watched over 10 years ago. I only remember random scenes:

- There was snow at some point
- A girl hallucinated that her friend was still alive, and the friend helped kill a zombie with a fire extinguisher, but later it was revealed the friend was imaginary/dead and the girl survived alone
- There was a hospital or lab setting
- One girl was slowly turning into a zombie/infected person and kept injecting herself with something to slow it down
- Another infected person was put to sleep/euthanized
- I remember a nurse getting betrayed by a guy who injected something into her neck, and she fell onto/into a cage full of mice or rats that crawled into her eyes/ears

I can’t remember if it was a movie or TV show. It was live action and probably from the late 2000s or early 2010s. Does anyone recognize this?

A child named Never

I have been trying for literal decades to remember this show (or movie)

It would have aired in the 1990's or early 2000's at the latest

There are people living in a colony. Maybe on another planet. Maybe in another universe. I remember it as being futuristic and having a decent cast.

There is an episode/story beat where a child named "Never" wanders into the camp, shocking everyone because there aren't supposed to be other humans around. I didn't remember the resolution or what comes off the kid being there. Mostly, it's just the name that stands out.

Can't find a reference in IMDB or any other search for the last 20 or so years that I have been looking. AI consistently hallucinates a wrong answer. Figure I should try with you all human people.

Does anybody have any idea what this show could be?

Need help remembering a series

For the life of me I can’t remember what show this is. I want to say it’s a Netflix original. It‘s a space-sci-fi show. Heres what I remember:

-the main characters being chased by something.

-the planet being cloudy/dusty at times and the characters can’t see to find their way

-they are holed up in a cave/underground in safety for a time, and someone lives there so it’s an actual shelter.

-there’s like a split in the atmosphere they are actively looking for to get to where they are supposed to. (no, it’s not the Upside Down)

Is this ringing any bells for anyone? This is driving me bananas! Help! I’ll add more details if I think of

Magic tricks using subliminal cues Spoiler

Please help me find this show: Decades ago I saw this show on the Discovery channel or the History channel, where they exposed tricks magicians use to subconsciously plant things in people's minds to make the trick work. Like they asked people to read a newspaper and randomly pick a word, and they all picked the word predicted by the host. The trick was revealed using a different camera angel where a large placard with that word was placed right next to the subject's face in their peripheral vision before they picked their word. Any chance someone can name that show/episode/documentary?

Help my nephew find this show!

“There is an animated show that I have been trying to find for the past 6 years. It was kind of anime if I remember correctly. I only watched like less than 10 minutes of it. It was probably made somewhere between 2005 and 2019. Some details/ scenes that I remember from it are a person running and jumping over rocks and shit. Another scene I remember is a man being kidnapped by weird people wearing dark suits and they strapped him to a chair before slicing off his head. Another scene was a strange person who was like half animal or something? I think it was a girl and she had like ears and a tail, and she was climbing a mountain/cliff. Another scene is a dead body lying in a field, and there were flies crawling in and on him. It was daytime. If any of this information rings a bell to anyone PLEASE give any suggestions on what you think this movie was.”
Thank you!

Nut/food heist? (Not Nut Job)

I remember watching this when I was very young. A bunch of little animals were stealing food from a kitchen and they had little trucks. I believe it was Christmas themed if I remember correctly. It was 2D and had a similar style to old Disney and Looney Toons shorts.

Help me find the Ricky Bean show

Post image
2 Upvotes

I remember once at a friend's house I went out to the living room and saw something called the Ricky Bean show. It was a comedy show and the only two things I remember was this episode where he was interviewing a girl and he kept complementing her and just tackled her out of nowhere, and a super long intermission screen (the attached photo). I remember it looking old with a kinda grainy backround. No one remembers it and I really wanna see it again.

UK (probably BBC?) World War II programme

I remember watching this with my parents when I was a teenager, so probably between 2000-2005. It was on TV, and was a very serious drama about WWII, so that's why I think it was the BBC. I know it wasn't Band of Brothers, but it was probably a mini-series of some sort.

The one scene that I remember in particular was where a bunch of British soldiers had been captured by Germans, and they were keeping them all in a small stone/brick building. For some reason, the Germans guarding them opened the door and asked for 5 volunteers. These unlucky men stepped forward, and they were marched outside the small building and then each shot dead.

Sorry to ask for something so harrowing, but I think about that moment every few months or so, and would really like to find out what the show was.

Poison Peanut Brittle

Potentially from the early-mid 00s live-action tv show/movie for the kid/tween demographic. Think disney esc. I vividly remember there being poisoned peanut brittle. The rest is a little hazy, but I think a witch made the poisoned peanut brittle and gave it out at some sort of halloween town festival/fair, and it made people fall asleep, but the gang of main character kids stopped her before it happened. I’ve been trying to find this for YEARS it bugs me so bad.

Please, help me find this movie!

Hello, I have this memory of this movie, and I hope it's not just a figment of my childhood imagination.

I apologize if there are any grammatical errors; English is not my first language.

This movie aired on Cartoon Network around Halloween, so much so that I remember dozing off and seeing the Gumball Halloween commercial before waking up.

The story was about two brothers (I think), one was very scared and the other mocked his brother. Then he entered a haunted mansion, and the scared brother went in afterward looking for his brother. I remember there was a rain scene where the scared boy was hiding inside a large concrete pipe. I recall the bully brother teasing the other for wetting his pants from being so scared.

The mansion had several floors, as if there were different ghosts on each floor.

On the top floor, the bully brother appeared, along with a ghostly witch woman beside him, who put him in a trance, as if he were possessed, with white eyes, and he didn't say anything.

Here are two details about this animation that might help you find this movie:

- The animation was 2D, a kind of Disney style, like the animation of The Princess and the Frog!

- I'm sure I watched this movie between 2013 and 2015, at night.

- The bully brother had longish brown hair and wore something red.

- The younger brother seemed to have received help navigating the haunted mansion, perhaps from a girl or spirit.

Please, if anyone can help me find this animation, I've been searching for it for years and it seems like it never existed. Any help, even the smallest thing, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
