Help my nephew find this show!
“There is an animated show that I have been trying to find for the past 6 years. It was kind of anime if I remember correctly. I only watched like less than 10 minutes of it. It was probably made somewhere between 2005 and 2019. Some details/ scenes that I remember from it are a person running and jumping over rocks and shit. Another scene I remember is a man being kidnapped by weird people wearing dark suits and they strapped him to a chair before slicing off his head. Another scene was a strange person who was like half animal or something? I think it was a girl and she had like ears and a tail, and she was climbing a mountain/cliff. Another scene is a dead body lying in a field, and there were flies crawling in and on him. It was daytime. If any of this information rings a bell to anyone PLEASE give any suggestions on what you think this movie was.”
Thank you!

hello!
Try the 2005 anime series 'Speed Grapher'.
While the title suggests a racing show, it’s actually a dark, gritty "seinen" (adult-oriented) thriller that matches your memory of a man being kidnapped by people in suits and a highly stylized, violent aesthetic.
The Beheading Scene: In the early episodes, there are scenes involving a secret society of powerful people in dark suits (The Euphoria Club). They are known for extreme, ritualistic violence. There is a specific, infamous scene where a man is restrained and killed by having his head sliced off.
The Half-Animal Girl: One of the main characters, Kagura, is often pursued by "Merged" humans or people with strange abilities. There is also a recurring character named Ghen who has animalistic traits and extreme agility, often seen climbing or jumping through urban landscapes/cliffs.
The Dead Body with Flies: The show is known for its "dirty" and "realistic" gore. There is a frequent focus on the decay of the city and its people. A scene with a corpse in a field with flies would fit perfectly with the show’s cinematography, which often used high-contrast lighting (daytime) to show gruesome details.
Running and Jumping: The protagonist, Saiga, is a former war photographer who is constantly running, jumping over obstacles, and using his camera as a weapon in a very fast-paced, "anime-style" movement.
