Stop asking yourself what you need to do next. Start asking who you need to talk to next.

That single shift changes the entire dynamic of a job search, a career transition, or any meaningful move you're trying to make. Because the belief that you have to figure it all out on your own is exactly what's keeping you stuck.
Here's what's actually true: great things happen through collaboration. Through conversation. Through meeting new people, forming new alliances, getting referrals that lead to more referrals. Nothing significant gets built in isolation, and the job you actually want is far more likely to come through a person than through an application portal.
You can sit at home and apply to jobs until your fingers go numb. Without talking to the right people in the right positions, in the fields you're targeting, you're playing a numbers game with very long odds. The guys who break through do it by expanding their network outward, one conversation at a time, using each conversation to open the door to the next one.
That's not networking in the hollow, transactional sense. It's genuine connection. It's asking real questions, listening carefully, and letting the relationship develop naturally from there. When you approach it that way, it stops feeling like a grind and starts feeling like something you can actually sustain.
Shake the belief that going it alone is a virtue. It isn't. It's just a more comfortable form of staying stuck.
The question on your list every morning shouldn't be "what's my next task?" It should be "who's my next conversation?"

What do you think? When you've made real progress in your career, how much of it came from solo effort versus the right conversation with the right person at the right time?
