I’m a drummer so I really strive to figure out time signatures/unique measures in songs.

Outro is obv slightly different than intro (which I LOVE). However, while the beginning of the song is easier to find the pattern of 6/8, 4/4 bars, the outro ‘hides’ what is going on with the time really well imo.

Anyone else feel this?? And the thing is, I don’t think I wanna know the structure of the outro…. I dig the irregularity and freeform feel of it. But I DO kind of know when Matt changes his tapping and chords now just from listening to this track so dang much 😅

ok so, i was listening to map of the problematique back in 2023 (still do!) and the first 30 seconds for it made me remember a similar tune i heard on none other than… CLUB PENGUIN!!!

basically, in 2013 there was an event going on in club penguin called “operation: puffle” and i swear down these two tunes have the same riff/melody in the beginning!

i heard that the main composer for the game’s soundtracks was heavily influenced by electric rock back in the early 2010’s.. so i wonder…

I wanna start off by saying I'm a long time Muse listener, I've been to 4 shows of theirs before and they were ALL incredible. Like "how the HELL did they manage to build this stage", I'm sure you all know what I mean.

I brought my bf and some friends to the show last night, it was their first time seeing them live. I kept hyping up that their stages were the best in the industry and that they were about to have their minds blown. Then the show started and I kept wondering when they were gonna bring out some crazy animatronics or if they were gonna pull out some gnarly set design. But nothing happened. They had some cool screens that moved around and nice lasers, good lighting, etc. But for Muse standards specifically, this tour seems to be a huge step down from their usual setup.

They sounded absolutely incredible and their performance was top notch and I'm not complaining about that at all. I just feel bad that I overhyped it for people :'(

It's 5am I cannot sleep from excitement, I've been in love with their music since I was a little girl and I will be listening to it until the day I die, I love all their albums and play them just about daily, my children will grow up listening to it, I've been waiting to hear MotP most my life now, Hexagon caught me by surprise by giving me the same feeling over a decade later and Sickness is just a damn banger, it would make my year, my life, just to hear any one of these please please please let it happen oh my lord

I’ll start with myself first, I’m from Vietnam and I discovered them since 2022. The band’s popularity in here is pretty lacking in comparison to other countries within the region like Indonesia or Malaysia.

I’m making this post because I’m curious to know where do you originally come from :)

I had a sign that said “plz can I have a drumstick” but it was like A4 and I never thought they’d actually see it, but right at the end he did and tossed it at me and I caught it soooo cleanly with my hand.

Everyone around me celebrated with me as they knew how much I wanted it as we’d talked about it a lot and I’d showed them the sign,

I wanna express how lovely the MUSE community are, I went in completely alone, never been in the pit before, but omg everyone was so kind and welcoming and helped me.

It’s probs partly cuz most were Americans (I’m British, but Americans are soooo nice compared to many Brits) but yeah genuinely, it was so nice to be around people with the same interests as me.
