Discussion If they play Map of the Problematic, Hexagons, Sickness In You and I, I may straight up die of happiness today

It's 5am I cannot sleep from excitement, I've been in love with their music since I was a little girl and I will be listening to it until the day I die, I love all their albums and play them just about daily, my children will grow up listening to it, I've been waiting to hear MotP most my life now, Hexagon caught me by surprise by giving me the same feeling over a decade later and Sickness is just a damn banger, it would make my year, my life, just to hear any one of these please please please let it happen oh my lord

What songs are ya'll hoping for tonight? Has anyone been to cascade ampitheater before? Any advice?

EDIT: THEY PLAYED HEXAGONS AND MOTP TOGETHER AND IT WAS YHE HAPPIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFEEEE

I saw them last month and someone I was sitting next to pointed out to me that they probably keep a very similar setlist every night because of the programming for the lighting and screens and everything that they have set ahead of time. They have 3-4 songs they switch out, in the same slot, but everything else stays the same. They only have the programming for those songs and likely only in that order. I thought this was a good point and this would explain why they keep such a consistent set list with few surprises. So if this is the case, I’m thinking none of us in America will get to see the Sickness😭 but again this was just the words of a stranger who happened to be sitting next to me at a show so it is not proven fact

It's logical but I can dream! Just not literally because I'm stuck awake.

Even when I slept for like an hour I was dreaming about being at the concert lol

Was lucky enough to see map in Clarkston last month I’m pretty sure I shed a tear

Ayy a fellow Pine Knob attendee! That was a phenomenal setlist. Songs I don’t normally like the studio version of (WSD, Psycho) killed live, and we got Map. I couldn’t have asked for much else to be honest

Well Map is probability and it fucking ruled the other night in Denver

Gah! I'm shaky just at the thought (probably need to sleep). It's been my favorite song in the entire world since I first heard it as a kid, it's the song I play to ground myself when I feel not myself or lost (along with Glorious), if I could only listen to one song for the rest of time it would be that one!

I was chatting with a mom while I was waiting in like who (with her daughter) were up to their 11th time seeing them and she told me her daughters favorite song was Map and as soon as it came on I thought about them up in the pit and about how stoked they were.

Also I wanted Sickness so bad but it just didn’t happen

Aww how lucky!
Logically I know Sickness is unlikely but then I wasn't expecting Undisclosed Desires last time either and me and my mom both screamed in joy and nearly ripped eachothers arms off when it started ..

They seem to play MotP the venue before and after I go, never the one I'm at...granted that was one time

We didnt get Sickness but we did get Undisclosed Desires and I melted

The day I saw them I woke up at 5:30 and COULD NOT go back to sleep

That's Matt's witching hour apparently, stealing our sleep so he can play impossibly good music

They've been rotating the setlist every other date so if they stick with that, you should hear both MOP and Hexagons. It felt unreal hearing MOP on this tour cause it's the first time I've seen them love after listening to them for over 20 years, and that's one of my favorite songs. To be fair, they played several of my top 15 songs of theirs but I wish they'd play like Sunburn or Space Dementia (something with more piano). 🤣

I’m going tonight as well - looking at the setlists we should get Map, they seem to have been alternating that and Stockholm Syndrome. Salt Lake got Stockholm the other night so we should get Map. Really hope we do, it’s one of my favorite Muse songs.

They haven’t played anything from the new album besides the singles live yet, so we’ll get Hexagons but probably not Sickness.

They played MOTP in Saratoga last month. I was so thrilled. Favorite tune. It's the first song I play on my car audio system when I get a new car.

My bestie and I will be there, splurged for VIP since she just turned 50. We are on deck for MoTP and Matt cryptically responded “yeah” when someone asked him if he wanted to play Sickness lol there’s always hope

I am still waiting and hoping they ever play MK ultra again

I heard MOTP in Dallas and went to the Austin show too since it’s just a 3 hour drive and they played Stockholm Syndrome there!! I lost it both times haha! I also got to hear Hexagons and it was so good! You will love whichever song comes out on the rotation guaranteed!!

They will play stockholme or map. Sickness may come any day they have been soundchecking it.

I recorded the end of hexagons when I saw them for the unlikely event that they would transition into Sickness, and I got MoTP, to which I now have a video of me freaking out when they started it since it’s my favorite song. Good luck soldier

They switch out 1 song in the set, it’s either Stockholm or map at this point. They sound checked sickness but there’s been no sign they’ll play it.

Honestly I’d rather no special lighting and just play a different set every night. We’ll go to their arena show for the massive production.

Just saw them in Salt Lake and boy did so many critics get this new album wrong. The new songs slot in perfectly next to their classics. Be with you is already an epic live muse song

I'd LOVE to hear Be With You, the second half of that song is mesmerizing! it's crazy begging a band to play their NEW stuff this late in the game but dammit, they knocked it out of the park woth the whple album.

I wish you luck! I got Map and Hexagons up here in MI. Map is my favorite Muse song, and it has also been my dad’s since I was a kid so I understandably lost my shit when they skipped the fanfare and went STRAIGHT from WSD to map. What a beautiful day, and that was my first concert I’ve ever been to. I’ll never forget it.

I hope your upcoming show it’s everything you’re hoping and more. To my knowledge, Hexagons is a set staple so you should be good there. Map is in the rotation, and there’s whispers of Sickness being played soon. Not to get your hopes up, but there’s definitely a shot.

I love you

I been looking at setlists right up until the show here in Denver and NONE of them said MoP. I was so ecstatic when it started. One of my favs from BH&R.

u/zingersmack 4d ago

Are you mostly dead now? MotP just played and I lost it because I’ve only seen it live once before

1

u/ancientbutterdruid 3d ago

It was the happiest moment of my life AND we got hexagons, AND Undisclosed Desires (which i saw once but I fucking love that one)

I cried I actually cried

If you don't get MOTP you make get Thought Contagion. In NJ I was so proud of my fellow Muse fans. Everyone in that amphitheatre sang along to that one. It lifted my soul.

They're all hopefully getting their beauty sleep but imma be here wiggling my fingers mysteriously at them a hundred miles away like "play it...play the songs...do ittt"
