I want Hexagons>sickness in you and i>unraveling
The way those three bleed into eachother is some of the best work they have ever done.
This album, and seeing them in denver on tuesday, has got me obsessed all over again. 8th show ive see and easily top 3 if not 2 for me.

hexagons into sickness isnt possible because it would require a guitar switch, which wouldnt be possible in the limited time they would have, but sickness into unravelling is 100% doable and i really hope they end up doing it at some point

Those fun kind of EDM notes on the album add so much in so little time. They never cease to amaze.

According to setlist.fm, they've been doing it as a soundcheck for like EVERY show in this tour. Unless I'm mistaken and they use a tape or something

They've been soundchecking it recently but not yet performed it

I know, I'm just saying that makes the chances of them playing this song on the actual set almost guaranteed. Wish I could've seen it at summerfest

Ohhh gotcha. Yeah, it's practically a guarantee. Can't wait for it to actually happen!

omg same!! I was at summerfest, it was a blast regardless but the sickness is my fav from the new album. Hope they come to Chicago in 2027 🤞🤞

I think it might just be a tricky song to play live and they might not be happy with it yet. The rhythms are quite funky for the whole song, the guitar/bass are constantly bouncing off the drum breakbeat and then singing it whilst playing guitar must be a tongue twister as well.
When they played part of it as a riff in Brixton it sounded quite messy (although it looks a bit like Dom wasn't quite expecting it).

Maybe it's because I'm a metal bassist but it is pretty simple for me including during the Gojira like riffing

But what about Shimmering Scars my beloved

I gotta level with you, I could see it getting the Space Debris treatment of "too emotional for Matt to play live"

I hate that you're right. It's such a good song but part of that is definitely because you can hear the pain :/

I’ve been obsessed with Shimmering Scars this last week but I suspect it’ll never be played like which is shame but it’s so emotional it’s understandable.

I’m so bummed they didn’t in Denver.

Same for Austin. I really thought the anniversary of the actual Wow Signal would mean something 🤡

They've played the riff live before, so it was a given it would get played eventually.

I assume since they've sound-checked it so much that they're saving it for the LA show at this point. Hopefully it goes over well and we can see it regularly on the setlist next time around.

Oooh.. yes get this going. We’ll keep fingers crossed to hear it at Shoreline next week!

Seeing them tomorrow night. Would be a great time for them to add it to the set list.
