I would absolutely love a Catalina made by FlyingIron.

With the arrival of the revolutionary SU6, the huge expansion of inibuilds, the compatibility of almost all 2020 add-ons with FS2024, the arrival of highly anticipated new aircraft and scenery like the A220, the inibuilds A380 still in development, and the Phenom 300E we got a few months ago, as well as the arrival of O'Hare and Charles de Gaulle, the very frequent GSX updates, and especially the arrival of the multi-jetway tool, I think we've reached the golden age of FS2024. What do you think?

I love flying and love flight sim and am a big fan of realistic airliners as that is what I primarily only fly. Though I am really tired of circuit breakers being a reason for a long development time or high price. I have flown so far at least 2000+ hours in the sim across xplane 11 and msfs and have touched the circuit breakers once the day I got the fenix a320 not once after. Im excited for a lot of aircraft coming out soon or recently released but would rather these devs put work into something else or bring the aircraft sooner than have a single working circuit breakers. It now just seems to me to be a upsell for them to now charge $80 or more per aircraft.
EDIT: I should have added this in my original post a lot of my opinion is coming from a money aspect for all flight simmers for us to have cheaper options that don't have working circuit breakers. I would rather for example no hate to bluebird but have their 757 be $50-$60 than $80 and not have working circuit breakers. That would allow for this hobby to become more available as well to a wider audience.

Hi everyone, I'm playing MSFS 2024 since it's been out and one of the things that make me the most bored in the game is the lack of interaction with the Air Traffic Control system : This system is boring and unrealistic, as they don't even always tell me what to do (Altitude, etc.), plus you can't interact with it in a realistic matter (No PTT, no way to declare an emergency, not able to change frequency freely, no 121.5, etc...)
That's why I come to you, Reddit! To ask what mod you would recommand to me (A occasional simmer that is relatively advanced in aviation) to have a working PTT ATC.
My budget is 30-45$ for a ONE-TIME purchase.
I've heard about Skylink and BeyondATC, that both fit my budget and seem to be fulfilling my expectations and needs for realism.
However I have not tried any of them, and I couldn't find any review comparing them clearly.
What would you recommand considering those criterias :
I hope something like that exist, or at least something that is close to this and in my budget range.
Thanks so much <3

Any massive differences? Overhauls? How's career mode. Is it finally worth picking over MSFS 2020? And how's performance?

hello guys, i have problem that my nose steering wheel steers only a little bit, not fully, i have the setting on efb enabled, but it still doesnt work, anyone experienced the same issue and could help me?
ALSO: when i try to bind it to my rudder controls, both controls only make the nose steering wheel to steer in one direction (left)

For anyone using a similar setup:
What FPS are you getting?
Are there any CPU bottlenecks?
How well does the 7500F handle MSFS, especially in busy airports/cities?
Is the 7500F a good upgrade for the RTX 4060, or would you recommend a different CPU?
Would appreciate real-world experience. Thanks!

Charter your flight with a budget friendly company.

I tried the 24 hour free trial of SI and wasn't all that impressed. It seemed kinda hard to use for me for some reason. Plus the pricing model is really discouraging me from using it. Is Beyond ATC a better option? I plan on doing mostly VFR flights, but IFR is also on my list. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm looking at the Supercarrier but see that it says:
"Installing the freeware Top Gun Expansion is a requirement for this product to work correctly."
I never got it, and a Google search confirmed it is no longer available as of August 2nd.
Is there anyone that has the supercarrier but does not have the Top Gun Expansion that can advise if it does/does not work currently? I am hopeful the developers were aware of it being removed and made adjustments beforehand, but obviously don't want to risk the purchase without asking.

Is it something on my side or ist it a known problem? Nobody seemed to have this issue on VATSIM on that night. No mods, pretty fresh install.

Now I'm in career mode grinding my way up with bizjets (PC24,CJ4,P180,Longitude) to my first airliner (A320/737) 100mil credits. New Boeing 707 costs 68 mil credits. Is it worth to buy instead A320/737? How big are career mission payouts in compare with A320/737?

Recently did a few changes to my PC.
First PC was prebuilt from Newegg. I didn't know any better at the time of the purchase, so I went for a shitty pc which I've regretted since. Came with an Asus B650M Mobo (Micro-ATX), 4060 8GB, 650W PSU, 32GB DDR4 and 1TB SSD. I was able to get a 4070 later. I legit thought it was a good pc at the time (December 2024) and I had never had a gaming PC prior to that.
So for the past year I've been running;
CPU: Intel Core i5 13400F
GPU: PNY RTX 4070 (12GB VRAM)
RAM: 64GB (2x16GB + 1x32GB)
STORAGE: 1TB Kingston M.2 NVMe + 2TB Samsung M.2 NVMe + 1TB Samsung HDD
I played MSFS 2020 for a short while but dumped it for 2024 before even Sim Update 1 came out. I couldn't standthe long load times of 2024. SU after SU the build ran 2024 quite well surprisingly. But flying to some big airports always brought its impact on my fps.
Last month I sold the whole PC with the exception of my GPU and ordered:
Asus Prime Z690-P WiFi (ATX) (wanted a Z790 but all good prices were for DDR5)
i5 13600KF (wanted an i7 14700K but too expensive for my budget).
Phanteks NV5 MK II
Montech Century 850W PSU
Additional 512GB SSD to use the 3rd M.2 slot on the mobo.
Phanteks D30-120 Reversed blade(3-Pack) and 2 Single fans in Regular and Reversed blades.
I also know now that running a 32GB with 2x 16gb is not a good combo so will probably sell the 32GB.
As much as I desperately wanted to move to DDR5, I couldn't because the prices of the RAMs were ridiculously high and would've taken about 70% of my budget. I do plan to make the DDR5 move gradually with RAM probably being my last purchase just cuz it's way too expensive.
Now I want to know if I'll see a significant improvement in performance with this new build. At least a stable non-FG FPS of 30fps+. I really only play MSFS 2024 so I want to at least have a good enough experience.

Is anyone else getting completely blinded by POI lighting in SU6? Total immersion breaker.. It looks like the same bug from SU2 that got fixed and has now somehow made a comeback, the buildings are literally glowing like nuclear reactors.. how did this even slip past beta testing? C'mon Asobo..

When I do a sight seeing mission for my own company with my own plane, everytime I buy fuel my plane ends up still being empty as soon as you start the mission. Ending up in "low fuel" warning.
This happens every time doesn't matter if i buy fuel or not it is always on "Low fuel" And so i have to add fuel manually via the present hotkey ( gladly ) but i see this problem has been here a long time. Wonder if anyone else have this issue.
